Before I even visited, the two people who helped me over the phone were so kind, especially Will, who was a wonderful resource of information. They have the option to talk with you over the phone or via text, and both ways proved very helpful. When I visited the pharmacy, I was pleased to see there was a parking lot (finding parking in Little Tokyo can be difficult sometimes). Will was there and was very friendly! When he got back from break, he again checked on us and our order. He explained their printer got stuck and only 30 of 40 printed. He gave us a couple of options on how to proceed--- if we would like a partial refund or if we wanted to wait for them to fix the printer and reprint. We opt for the partial refund. I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

This review is specifically about their ability to compound a medication that so many other places gave me such a hard time about. I know they do COVID testing as well, and I'm sure that's great to, based on the level of customer service they showed me. Long story short, I need a medication for my son compounded and in liquid form (because he can't swallow pills) and everyone from the staff to the pharmacist genuinely went above and beyond to help me out. It's not an easy request I had, and probably not worth their time, but they could see the predicament I was in and did what they had to in order to help a stressed parent and ultimately my child. They went beyond customer service and showed me compassion, and I will never use anyone else from here on out. read more

My family was traveling out of the country and we tried so many other clinics to get a fast efficient result. This place was the best. In and out in 10 minutes. Efficient results in a day. Highly recommend if you need your results for traveling. The staff was amazing. Jazmine and Rolen where outstanding. Jasmine and Maria were sooooo great to me and my son father. we told them our situation and why we needed the Covid test so bad due to our son was in ICU and we couldn't see him without a negative Covid result. They talked to us and emphasized with us and walked us through the whole process. They helped us so much! I will forever be grateful for what they did for us! Amazing service! With everything booked I luckily saw the Covid testing sign and walked in to see if they do rapid testing as I was planned for a short notice flight in a few days. Mousa informed me that airlines may not accept it and recommended the regular testing and also assured me I'd receive it within 24 hours time. Sure enough less than 24 hours later test results came in. Price to get tested was also cheaper compared to others. Definitely made everything easier for me! My family have them on a group text message because of the reasonable price for a COVID test. When you have a family member on hospice you want to see them and they made it happen. We went to get vaccinated for covid (J&J) with an appointment. The attention of all the staff was impeccable, nice people and super friendly. Excellent Service. I came home from Nicaragua to LA to get a Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one, anywhere. But, they had it, here. I felt safe inside the store (you have to be buzzed in) and also that my privacy was important, it wasn't a crazy line of 15+ people like CVS or Rite Aid. Only tricky thing is getting into the plaza. Then they started raising the price and removing services at the same time which was problematic given just how expensive some of those services are. A house call went from $500-$1500. On top of paying $6000 a year and for labs or any scans. Where I really draw the line is poor bedside manner and treating a patient who is suffering like they have somehow brought this on themselves and are at fault for needing care. I certainly understand that every doctor needs to use discernment, but having someone leave feeling just as bad as when they arrived is truly unacceptable. This is supposed to be a luxury service. That's why you are paying so much. So yes a person expects to not have to wait and to also be treated quite well. There has been an extreme decline in medical care in the last 12-15 months. This has looked like non standard of care medical treatment, long wait times even when there is only one or two other patients present and you have made an appointment. Major errors in lab orders causing delays in potential needed treatments. A refusal to make an appointment for a phone call with the medical director after several requests and several screw ups because he's busy running the whole company now. This is simply bad business and not the way to maintain long term clientele. My belief is that they are banking on not having a major competitor at the moment, but that can easily change given that their patients are wealthy and they are doing such a poor job serving them. It's really just a matter of time before another group of doctors gets together and builds a similar business model.

The support team was responsive, friendly and helpful. And the Dr was through and tested me for Covid - FLU A and B and RSV. Tests were negative and my lungs sounded good. So in the end - the Dr felt it was only virus. THAT SAID - the cough is terrible. So the Dr gave me something for the cough - which I deeply appreciate. I highly recommend Lotus Urgent Care - AND they have a wellness program which I plan to take advantage of in the future. IV therapy :)
