The hostess was quite friendly and answered all the clarifying questions as to how they fry their foods. We always check to see if they mix the shellfish with regular fish or any other protein items that are being served due to allergies. This place has been Mexican Restaurants and Seafood spots in the past but this time I think they finally nailed it. This catfish is served headless which is perfect and the flavors is one of the best whole catfish I've had in ALL of Houston. Yes even better than Captain Toms which is up the street. The shrimp fried rice was extremely good. Ranks as one of the better shrimp fried rice spots I've had outside of China town. Although its made up of popcorn sized shrimp, the flavor profile is phenomenal. Let me note that as a seafood spot they also have some great fajita and chicken alternatives for tacos and quesadillas. Including even a hamburger however I did not try them. The drinks from the bar are nicely balanced and the presentation of them are wonderful. The authenticity of this Mexican style seafood spot is on par and the flavors are perfect on the seafood items I've tried so far. Oh and the bathrooms are spotless and clean. The crawfish are consistently large, and what really sets them apart is Anna's homemade signature garlic sauce.
