Came in today for a birthday-eve crawfish celebration. Service was good, per usual, but I was disappointed in the crawfish today. I got it bayou style and it was just way too salty and there were so many mushy crawfish with grey meat. On another note, I really dislike the overall chain's new rewards program. It seems like a real downgrade from the previous one. read more

This has been our go-to spot for crawfish every spring for the past decade, which made this year especially disappointing. Unfortunately, the crawfish were noticeably tiny, and the service fell far short of what we've come to expect, especially for a party of four, which shouldn't have been difficult to manage. The hostess station has been moved from the outside porch to the middle of the dining room, forcing guests to wait in a high-traffic area with nowhere to comfortably enjoy a cocktail. Our waiter was unfocused, overwhelmed, and rushed, and drink refills were hard to come by. A nearby table was angry, and the overall experience just wasn't enjoyable. The seasoning was on point, but the atmosphere and level of service were not. I host a weekly football watch party across the street at the Woodrow's but decided to run over and grab some takeout for dinner because some folks I was with was raving about the salad hereB Who would've known BB's would be good for salads?! I ordered the spinach salad she recommended, as well as the cajun caesar! Both were fantastic!! I also tried their wings, did a kid's burger for my kiddo, and a smoked boudin link on the side! Boudin was fantastic as well! Service was quick.. I don't think they found my online order until I arrived so they started filling it when I got there! I didn't wait too long! Everyone was friendly and made sure I got what I needed while I waited. Ambiance is casual.. I haven't seen this location get too busy, like the Montrose one, but I prefer it this way! We had the best time here! We were in town to see Ian Moore destroy the stage as he always does and we decided to grab some food here before the show. I had the Crawfish Etouffee and red beans and rice. Both of them were fantastic! my wife and a friend had the seafood boil and they loved it! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.
