This place deserves beyond a 5 star reviews They recently changed ownership. The new owner Thomas had made some changes and. the quality of the food here was incredible and the ambiance beautiful. Both my husband and I polished our plate. We both got the skirt steak. I got it with it with broccoli , he with grilled vegetables. The food was so fresh and so tasty. We got the provoleta to start then shared one of the steak sandwiches and fries. Everything was great! Service was timely and the place was not too busy. I ordered a NY Steak with fries (Provençal fries), and a capprese salad but nothing tasted fresh and the steak was reheated, the fries had lots of big pieces of garlic and very little herbs and flavor. Unfortunately we had to sit next to a group of obnoxious ladies because all the other tables available were unattended and dirty, and that made our experience even more unpleasant. Today we came with my husband to have a Saturday night dinner. Our waitress was Tamara and she was phenomenal!! She's super genuine and kind, she made our experience so easy and had great recommendations!! She cared about our table and she was just a highlight of our dining experience. We ordered the parilla for 2, the portion was massive and so well served. We got fries and potato salad, it was delicious and perfectly cooked!!! Not a fan of this restaurant. The restaurant is super cute and inviting. It's part restaurant, part counter, part market. I came here for date night. The place was pretty empty except for three parties already sitting. We sat down wherever we wanted and were given a menu. We ordered a parrillada for two mixta which comes with two sides. We had mashed potato and sweet potato fries. The portion of meat is a lot for two people. You can easily feed 3-4 people from it. However, the meat really had no flavor. My husband is Argentinian and he even mentioned how flavorless it was. They also did not have any chimichurri. I also found the meat to be very chewy. I have eaten at other places a parrillada for two and this one just fell flat. Then the check came, we felt that the price did not match the quality. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Went today Sunday 6-6-2021 with husband and daughter and have to say that will not come back. The food was too pricey for what you get, specially the brie cheese appetizer. $15 for a small piece. Stopped in for a mid-week work lunch. The place is in a corner plaza directly on Federal Highway. The place is upscale casual, if that makes sense. It has a cafeteria/market vibe, but has proper table service. The menu is traditional Argentinian with a selection of meats and poultry items. They also have a bakery stand within the restaurant serving up a pretty decent looking selection of pastries and empanadas. The bread was freshly baked, crispy, warm and delicious. We love this place, I'm not really sure why the reviews are so bad. We love the ambiance, the decoration, servers are always very nice (although it does often feel understaffed), we always have good house wines here at decent prices. We have had good and not so good experiences with food, but we know what to order now, so we keep coming back, because it is a good value (not cheap, but good value we feel). We love the empanadas, chicken Milanese is amazing and I love their french fries! Chicken marsala and lentil soup are also very good. Their tiramisu is delicious. We went Twitter ve since they've opened and the experience was mediocre.; for instance it was 12 PM and they've ran out of beef empanadas so they suggested the "Premium" one which is OK but more expensive, of course they've charged us the premium price. The empanadas were cold, so we had to send them back to the oven (first not so nice attitude from the server). Also the "empanadas" are getting smaller and smaller , I say lately "tiny". Pay +$2 for each and get that tiny size? The brand new place GRAZIANO in Aventura are DOUBLE the size for just over $2.50. Best value for your money and taste as good as La Estancia. Will try it a few more times, let's see if they improve service and offer better size portions . read more

Be aware this isn't the same system as the other estancia argentina as the 178st with Biscayne. Although it is the same chain this one is more of a restaurant!!! I really enjoyed it and it's very nice with tall windows allowing lots of natural lighting to come in. They have marble tables which look beautiful but due to the tall windows you can see how dirty the tables are. Using windex rather than a wet cloth goes a long way in such clear lighting! The concept is different than the one on 178st, you get served rather than ordering at the counter. The food is amazing like always and the soup was freshly homemade!! I'm normally hesitant to order chicken soup because it's almost always another way of ordering can soup but I can confirm that's not an issue in this restaurant! As this is a new location it's understandable the slow service some waiters are a little lost and my waiter in specific was a little slow. Didn't bring us bread, sauces for the fries, or napkins unlike the other tables. The plates we good and the portions were perfect. Not too full or still hunger! My favorite was the shrimp salad. Another thing to take note of was her response when she brought me an extra rollito. I told her I only ordered two, she rolled her eyes and said it's not a big deal she won't charge it as if she was doing me a favor... I mentioned it to her not because of the $1.50 charge but because I'm the only one in the table that wanted dessert and I couldn't eat more than the 2 I ordered as it'd be too sweet. Been to the Biscayne location a few times just for their empanadas, since the food itself is a disappointment, and decided to give the new location a try. After all, it's hard to mess up empanadas and miga sandwiches considering they are literally ready, right? Guess not. I paid and got no receipt. Ordered to go and only realized when I got home that one of the sandwiches was missing and one of them was not what I had ordered. Called them and they said ok, come back. So I did. Asked to speak to the manager, who seemed to be just someone they found on the back to play the part, as he was totally unprofessional. Didn't even apologize for messing up my order and for the inconvenience of making me drive back and forth. Seemed to think it was ok that I didn't get a receipt and acted as if he was doing me a favor by correcting their mistake. The waitress that made the mistake blatantly ignored me and rudely interrupted me as I was explaining to the "manager" what happened, making up excuses to not seem like she did anything wrong. Then the manager gave me the sandwich I hadn't received, and as for the one I got wrong, he didn't even know which one was the right one. Egg and cheese is SLIGHTLY different than egg and ham. I laughed as I realized he gave me the wrong sandwich again. EGG AND HAM. Two ingredients. That's literally all I asked for. He then very rudely scavenged through the bottom of the fridge and gave me what I can only describe as a joke. A completely soggy, wet, inedible sandwich. At this point I was so shocked and fed up that I gave up on the so called sandwich and asked for a refund. The manager didn't know how to give refunds... Also said I couldn't get a receipt for the refund lol. Asked for my email in order to send the refund receipt, which I still haven't gotten to this day, but the refund did go through. I understand this is a new location, but obviously no one has bothered to train these people. The staff is rude, unprepared and unprofessional. The LEAST you can do when making a mistake is apologizing. This goes not only for managing a restaurant, but for life. Seems like a few lessons on the basics of social interexchange are much needed for these people. Also, even though I don't like their food, their canteen style food, already made and sitting on metal boxes, looked like something you would see in a school. DO NOT spend your money here. I personally recommend La Barra in Sunny Isles for decent miga sandwiches and staff that doesn't treat you like they are doing you a favor.
