This time the service was great but my entree tasted strange... like the sauce had a sour taste. So much so I was afraid to eat it. Queso was great!! The best I've ever had!! The reviews are definitely mixed upon viewing them on this place, but I will say that our experience here today has been top notch no doubt. I did have a warmish tap XX Ambar, but when I spoke with the waitress about it, she immediately rectified the situation with a FREE bottle of the same beer! It was ice cold... everything else was beyond the best. Granted, this was a very slow and rainy day.. Yet, I'm coming back for certain. Thanks for an incredible lunch! read more

Stopped here randomly after a meeting in Carrollton and I would absolutely go back again! The staff were all so sweet, friendly and attentive. The place was clean with gorgeous artwork and seats! The prices are very reasonable and the portions were pretty big! Definitely some good flavor going on here. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

I took my friend from out of town here tonight and she found a cockroach in her chicken chimichanga. They got rid of our bill but the manager did not even come out to address the situation she had the poor waitress deal with it. This whole experience was not good at all. BE AWARE. read more

My co-workers and I stopped here for lunch today. We were the first people there. The food wasn't terrible but not the best either. After eating and getting ready to pay, my co-worker finished his cup of tea and in the bottom of the cup was a baby cockroach swimming around. He was able to get a refund but I do not suggest dinning here. read more

This was the most disappointing Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, and I've been several times. Each time, I tell myself not to come back, but it's in my hometown, so once in a while, I give it a chance. No more! If you want to wait well over an hour for food, well over 45 minutes for drinks, and then have the drinks come out wrong and the food come out cooked to the point of inedibility, you've come to the right place. This dog shit dumpster fire of a restaurant offers prime real estate to hopefully someone who can run a better business. It's truly a shame that such a great piece of real estate in downtown Carrollton is being so poorly managed and run. Across from the Carrollton amp. Great place to go before a concert. Outdoor seating with occasional live music. Trivia on Wednesdays. Food, service, atmosphere is good for the price. I don't think they take reservations, but we have never had to wait over 5-10 minutes for a table. read more

I consider myself a kind person, willing to overlook a lot of things. I used to be a server, and worked in the food industry for years. It can be tough. But this place. Don't waste your money or time. It's dirty, horrible service, overpriced bland, unappetizing and uninspired food. Tried to overcharge for items, and given attitude when we questioned the charges. Decided to eat here on Mother's Day. There was plenty of waitresses but no bartender. It took 15 mins to sit us inside that had no one else inside. Chips were not good. We ordered take out some of our food was missing. I called talked to the manager she wanted to argue about it. Drove 15 mi back up there to get a refund. All of a sudden the manager didnt speak english. Spoke yo another girl and she said she would take care of it. They didnt know how to work the credit card machine. So a few days later no refund and nobody can tell me how to contact the owner. Its a big secret. They have lost a customer for good I refuse to do business with liars and thieves. read more

The decor is beautiful and the outside seating is really nice. It made me think the food would be good. I was sadly mistaken. The Chile relleno wasn't breaded. It was literally melted cheese on a plate with a poblano Chile laid on top of it. The salsa tasted like ketchup, the table guacamole was $11 and it lacked taste.
