This location serves almost 21 thousand people in one of the richest areas of SCV and offers such amenities like: TWO total ropes machines TWO total row machines TWO total pulldown machines TWO total chest/back fly machines. EIGHT total benches FOUR total standing curl supports. All with an absolute huge open space in the middle of the floor with nothing but a few yoga mats occupying it. But hey, they have 60 treadmills. Also the wall near the ropes has had a hole in it for the better part of a year now. Just drive 10 more minutes to the one in Valencia, don't waste your time here. You'll be waiting at least 20 minutes for the machine you want anyways. read more

I really liked this location! first off, staff is friendly, location is clean, kept well organized, wipes available, plenty of machines open and working ( visited on a saturday morning) gender seperate saunas, (sauana is quite smaller compared to Noho) even the ladies locker room is very nice with wooden doors. The location has plenty of parking and it is in a nice area. I was able to help myself to a few machines before I had to go. I defineitly would come back here if i know ahead of time I need to come up the area to kill time. read more

I don't see how LA Fitness gets 3.5 stars and Golds Gym has 3 stars. The staff is super nice here, acknowledges you every time you scan in and leave. All the machines work, it's cool, clean and not stinky inside. The members are, so far, all respectful and don't feel entitled. The wet wipes are always available to wipe down the equipment. Unlike some gyms. Locker room is clean. I just joined a few months ago and I'm liking it a lot! Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of the parking lot. I highly recommend this location. FYI: Newhall Ranch is bigger and has more types of machines. The problem is the weightlifting room is stuffy and hot. That's why I go to the Valencia location. read more

This is the second LA Fitness that I've gone to in this area. I've also visited the one on Newhall Ranch Road, and they both have a similar vibe. What I like is that all of the locations use some of the same teachers and even one of the Kids Klub caregivers works at both locations. This location is the smallest of the three. They also offer less classes. Oh and their pool is outdoors so of course that's not so great for the Winter. But it's nice during the warmer seasons. I love all three of the Santa Clarita/SR locations (clean, nice staff, etc) and have been with them for over a decade. I even canceled my 24hr Fitness membership because 24hr cancelled their cardio kickboxing classes. Now, very disappointingly, LA Fitness is cancelling their kickboxing classes. Going to check out Gold's as a back up. So if you're looking for kickboxing classes be on guard. read more

Moved into the area recently and used a 3 day guest pass. Had a 24hr Fitness membership that was ending. LA Fitness has newer and cleaner equipment, members rerack the weights and I've seen staff wiping down equipment. I rarely, if ever, experienced this at the 24hr locations I've used. I wish this location opened earlier than 9am on Saturdays and offered an annual payment option at a lower price than their current monthly lowest option. However, small trade off considering the other pluses. I joined on a special a week ago and am enjoying my membership. read more

I've been a member for a year and I've enjoyed the Zumba and Aquatic class. Unfortunately I fell and injured my wrist and knee. The manager on duty that evening was Raymond. The instructor informed him of the incident and he did not attempt to talk to me or even asked if I needed help. When I finally went to the front desk expecting for Raymond to fill out an incident report he said he would take my number and I would get a call back because he soon woulld be off the clock. I chose to stay and wait for the front desk associate to write down the details of my fall and injury. I asked if I could have a copy of the report and was told that I could not have it because the computer was unavailable. I called a few days later and spoke to the general manager Racine to obtain the incident report and I would pick it up at 3:45 and she asked if I could come at 4. I arrived a little before 4. She attempted to look up the report and then informed she couldn't find it because she did not have proper clearance to obtain the report. The whole experience from the time I fell to the interactions between myself and management has been appalling. read more

My husband got robbed. Lock was broken with a bolt cutter, and all the money and credit cards were stolen at the Stevenson Ranch LA fitness Club. Apparently this type of thefts has been going on for a while in a lot of LA fitness clubs and nothing has been done about it. Our family have been members since the Pico Canyon location opened. Over the past year, the smaller weight dumbbells (10-25 lbs) have been disappearing. There are slots for three sets for most weights, but almost all only have one set remaining now. Some sizes are missing entirely. I was told by staff that the smaller ones are easier to steal and that's why they are gone. Sad and very disappointing as I primarily only use dumbbells when working out. The other machines and equipment always seem to be in good working order and if needed, get repaired quickly. read more

Terrible Gym. I have only been a member for less than 2 weeks and my 2 year old daughter came back with bruises on her face and body and bite mark. I was told there was nothing that can be done because the person that was suppose to be watching the kids wasn't able to watch everyone due to being overwhelmed with the amount of children she had in her care. They are clearly understaffed and have no compassion for my daughter. This was a terrible experience and I know something about this situation is off. I called and emailed them several times to cancel my membership, and they said the only way I could cancel my membership would be to go directly to LA fitness. I've recently started training at this LA Fitness Gym location. Awesome gym close to my house so it's convenient. I always have the best 5 star experiences here starting when entering the gym; we are immediately greeted by Will the Operations Manager, he is professional, respectful and a dedicated loyal employee... super knowledgeable, all around happy and positive energy! Very friendly so he is easy to approach and eager to help and willing to assist! He is very proactive! I had the pleasure of meeting Raymond the General Manager there! Wow this GM...another amazing employee! Extremely supportive and works very well with the whole team! He is very professional, respectful and always willing to help as well. This GM Raymond is definitely easy to approach and he very much cares about your overall daily experience as well as any concerns you may have. The hardworking employees who work the floors, restrooms etc... please know how much you all are very much appreciated ...all of you! Super respectful very nice people and we adore your kindness! I love this Gym because no matter what your fitness level, there are a multitude of options for everyone, including a wide range of group exercise and various fitness programs. This location is fully equipped with tons of strength training equipment, cardiovascular machines and other exercise equipment. The gym is spacious and the machines are fully functional cleaned and on site sanitizing wipes are available , the staff there, they are always super helpful, very knowledgeable Loved the gym and loved the atmosphere; the people there are really welcoming and down to earth. Again more than enough rooms where the space is open which is good so it doesn't feel too crowded. Got to be the worst managed LA Fitness. Something is always broken. The sauna has not been working properly for ever. Keep bringing it up to the attention of the employees but they explain that the lights on the timer are not working but the sauna is. People are not idiots. We know the heat difference of a sauna and warm germ breading room. I mean all you have to do is visit one of the other locations in Santa Clarita and you can see how a sauna should be heated. read more

I'm a gym junkie and I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. There are plenty of machines you can try out like: treadmills, elliptical, stair master, row, ab machines, the nautilus, pull down lats and more. There is a pool for those who want to swim as well. There are locker rooms for both men and women. In the back of the locker rooms lead to the swimming pool and bathrooms. You can also lay In the sauna to ease off some stress. The prices are 29.99$ a month with an initial fee of 79$ for me at least. You are allowed access to any other LA fitness. Some of the LA FITNESS have a snack bar to purchase some snacks that are healthy for you. This one doesn't have it though. You have a section for cardio in the front, in the back is strength training and on the sides have a kids playground in the front, yoga/Zumba classes in the middle, cycling classes in the back and further between the male / female locker rooms and cycling area is the personal training area. It is expensive for this service, but you have a licensed trainer to help you get back in shape. I read somewhere on the wall that it was around 400/600$ over a period of 6 months but I could be wrong. Oh, and there is a place to stretch near the concierge on the right side. It is hidden behind some counters. Last, there are people who sit in the section to the right of the entrance whilst walking in. They answer all the questions you might have if you need any help. With all this said, is it worth it to go to this gym? Yes. It is worth the cheap monthly subscription, however on certain days the strength training machines are completely booked. I usually save it for the weekend as Mondays and Tuesdays are typically the busiest. Even the parking lot is completely filled on those days. My advice to you is do cardio Mondays-Wednsdays. Leave Thursdays- Saturdays for strength training for an effective workout routine. Waiting several minutes in line for a machine is a waste of your time. There are also schedules on the walls for the classes for spin biking, children's playground and yoga/zumba. read more

Used to be clean and professional staff - since covid they haven't cleaned a machine- staff rarely on time to open up when paying members are standing outside waiting, they either show up late (except Rhianna who's always on point) or they get there early just to stare at the members outside and open after 5- to be spiteful I guess .. the local manager is rude and does not address issues with proper communication- instead, acts like we're the problem.. it's a shame they let this beautiful club go down hill read more
