A wonderful new addition to the area!…read more My two sons recommended DUE COURI after stumbling upon this restaurant a couple of weeks ago, so tonight I gathered a group of eight of us to give it a try -- and we were so glad we did! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Alfredo and Monica, who were both absolutely lovely. It was wonderful getting to know them, and we wish them the very best of luck with their new restaurant. It's a small, quaint and inviting place with a really nice atmosphere. They offer both wine and beer, which is a nice touch. They started us with focaccia bread for the table, served with garlic and oil for dipping. They also had several specials that evening. I decided to try the squid ink pasta with seafood in a turmeric sauce, and it was delicious! The combination was really different and flavorful. My husband went with his usual go-to, chicken Parm, but this time with vodka sauce, and he really enjoyed it. Others in our group had the Osso Buco, which they said was excellent, along with the lobster ravioli and frutti di mare. I also had the eggplant Parmigiana appetizer, which was very tasty. The ambience was lovely, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Ava, was wonderful -- attentive, friendly and made the evening even more enjoyable. And we can't forget dessert! The pistachio cake was light and delicious, the crème brûlée was excellent, and the affogato was absolutely top-notch. We had such a nice evening and will definitely be coming back. It's always exciting to discover a new restaurant with great food, wonderful service and owners who genuinely care about their guests. Wishing Alfredo and Monica the best of luck with DUE COURI -- we'll definitely be back!

For cocktails, I had a super Tuscan that was amazing. Perfect for a rainy night. The other three diners had special cocktails that they loved. For dinner I ordered the Jermann Fruili (fruity, dry white). We were graced with bruschetta that was a great indication of things to come. We ordered Caesar salad & it arrived already plated and each salad was inside a parmesan cheese bowl. The salad was light and perfectly dressed with an anchovy on the side. For entrees I had linguine & clams. The pasta was fresh & light. My sister had the ravioli with red sauce. The sauce was amazing & the ravioli were filled with cheese. Yum. My husband had the Diver Scallops. They were fat & cooked to perfection. My brother in law had the bolognese. There was not a drop of sauce left on his plate after he mopped it up with crunchy Italian bread. Dessert included pistachio chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet, tiramisu, pistachio & chocolate gelati and ricotta cheesecake. This was truly a fine dining experience.

10/10 - One of the Best Italian Meals I've Had in Florida…read more I don't usually write long reviews, but Vulcanos Italian Restaurant absolutely earned it. From the moment we walked in, it felt like one of those rare local spots where everything is made with love and completely from scratch. You can taste the difference in every single bite. We started with the wedge salad, and it was perfect -- crisp, fresh, chilled lettuce with the right balance of toppings and dressing. It was way bigger than expected (portions here are no joke), but every bite had amazing flavor. It's honestly one of the best wedge salads I've had anywhere. Next, we ordered a gluten-free pizza, and I was blown away. Gluten-free pizza is usually hit or miss, but theirs tasted like real, authentic pizza with that homemade texture and flavor. The crust had that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and you could tell it was made in-house and not something pre-packaged. Easily the best gluten-free pizza in the area -- maybe anywhere. But the star of the night was the lobster ravioli. Absolutely incredible. You can tell it's homemade the moment you cut into it. The pasta was soft and fresh, and the filling actually had real chunks of lobster instead of the usual "barely-there" filling most places give you. The sauce was rich, creamy, and absolutely addictive. If you come here, this dish is a must-try. On top of the food being amazing, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell the staff really cares about their customers and takes pride in what they serve. Also, the best vodka sauce I've ever had in my life, better than in Italy! Super homey ambiance! If you want real, homemade Italian food served with big portions, great service, and authentic flavor, this is 100% the place. We left full, impressed, and already planning what we want to try next time. Highly recommended -- 10/10 experience

The food overall was okay, but not particularly memorable. We tried the eggplant rollatini, lobster ravioli as an entrée, and fried calamari as an appetizer. For salads, we had the beet salad with fried cheese and the house salad that came with the ravioli. While everything was decent, none of these dishes really stood out. The pizza, however, was a highlight. We ordered the Meat Lovers, Margherita, and cheese pizzas, and all were very good. It also seemed to be the most popular choice, as many of the tables around us had ordered pizza as well. I'd likely return to give it another try, especially for the pizza.

I asked if she served cocktails she said yes , but forgot to give menu she brought back menu I ordered a old fashioned and garlic rolls I asked for extra olive oil and garlic on side.. and pasta fazool soup. As I looked around the restaurant is very clean very quiet the only thing we heard was the guy in the back kitchen pounding I believe the meat . No music .. The waitress came back and brought garlic rolls and melted butter with hardly any garlic. I did ask for olive oil and garlic on side . The bread was soft , but no garlic rolls . The soup came out in a cup and it didn't look like pasta fazool soup.. I try the soup and it was bland and it look and taste like carrots were mashed up it like baby food ? Our order came out and my husband try a bite of his food and he spit it out the chicken wasn't breaded it was boiled and sauce added on top no cheese and pasta on side the chicken ... my food came out it look good . Far from "red sauce italian," Il Professore serves up exquisitely crafted italian regional specialties in a sleek but humble environment, with service that makes you feel perfectly at home whe3ther you're a first timer or a regular. Last night was our 4th time eating there. Started with fried stuffed zucchini blossoms... clearly homemade ricotta, hot out of the oven in fresh tomato and basil pesto sauces. Perfect. We shared the Staghetti Bottarga, which was split for us. Pasta, perfectly cooked. Sauce, olive oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes and botttarga, just crunchy and flavorful enough to add life tot he dish without overwhelming it. Two entrees. Lamb chops in a beautifully savory sauce, with roasted potatoes crisp on the outside and fluffy and hot inside. The breadcrumb/parmesan crusted halibut was perfectly fresh, moist, seasoned correctly (not too salty) and all around perfect. Don't sleep on the desserts -- the pistachio tiramiso is always on the menu and excellent. Chocolate cake with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream, also well worth the calories. Don't miss this place! It's small and in the usual crappy Florida strip mall, but it is always an experience!

I enjoyed his personality. They had a ton of specials and additions to the menu, so it was hard to stick to the flavor of South FL menu, but I guess we'll have to go back! The stuffed zucchini flowers were tasty, but I'm not sure they needed the superfluous amount of sauce they came with. I think it made right, they don't need much extra flavor at all! The mezzi paccheri was definitely homemade and the sauce was good, although needed a bit more flavor for us, maybe a dash of salt/pepper. The chicken breast I thought was super dry, so did my husband, oh well. For dessert we both had the velvet affogato, which is legit my favorite dessert ever. I have never seen it offered with both vanilla and chocolate ice cream! Also, it came with a side of Amaretto (shot), which is unique! The waiter said they are totally slammed in season and I can see why!
