We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Alfredo and Monica, who were both absolutely lovely. It was wonderful getting to know them, and we wish them the very best of luck with their new restaurant. It's a small, quaint and inviting place with a really nice atmosphere. They offer both wine and beer, which is a nice touch. They started us with focaccia bread for the table, served with garlic and oil for dipping. They also had several specials that evening. I decided to try the squid ink pasta with seafood in a turmeric sauce, and it was delicious! The combination was really different and flavorful. My husband went with his usual go-to, chicken Parm, but this time with vodka sauce, and he really enjoyed it. Others in our group had the Osso Buco, which they said was excellent, along with the lobster ravioli and frutti di mare. I also had the eggplant Parmigiana appetizer, which was very tasty. The ambience was lovely, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Ava, was wonderful -- attentive, friendly and made the evening even more enjoyable. And we can't forget dessert! The pistachio cake was light and delicious, the crème brûlée was excellent, and the affogato was absolutely top-notch. We had such a nice evening and will definitely be coming back. It's always exciting to discover a new restaurant with great food, wonderful service and owners who genuinely care about their guests. From the moment we walked in, it felt like one of those rare local spots where everything is made with love and completely from scratch. You can taste the difference in every single bite. We started with the wedge salad, and it was perfect -- crisp, fresh, chilled lettuce with the right balance of toppings and dressing. The bar was busy but still attentive. The Capri spritzer was my favorite, but they also have an array of beers and wines. It was an enjoyable evening from top to bottom.
