Had a sweet tooth for an authentic Mexican Churro. Discovered this local spot while out in Panorama City. Small restaurant located in this plaza amongst more restaurants, storefronts and a nightclub. Seems like a nice local spot to come and hang out with family and or friends. I came by myself tho. The owner was cool and professional. Didn't mind me taking pics and asking questions. Great customer service!!! An associate brought out my churro while I waited. My churro was hot and fresh. Reminded me of being a kid and going to the Paramount Swapmeet or The Rodium in Gardena. Well worth the $2.75. They prefer cash unless you don't mind spending the extra 75c to use your card. Big parking lot so there's plenty of parking spaces in the back or behind the plaza. read more

I've come here for 4 months now, let me rate what I got so far! Chicken Parmigana: I apologize but the chicken a bit too salty for me. But!!! I loved the pasta. 7/10 Burger Combo: PERFECT for a budget. Because of this place I've been adding Cucumber to my burger and wow I LOVE that crunch. 10/10!!! Pizza combo: Pizza!!! It's basically one half of a mini pizza, two big slices so nice and crispy. And HOT. Another budget lunch I highly recommend. 10/10! Lasagna: It looked like a mess but it tasted phenomenal. Bigger than what I'd expect too! The meat sauce however was, okay. I make this similar sauce at work myself and felt like it was my own. 9/10!! Customer Service I've had ZERO issues with. The man is very friendly and the young woman is very kind. While this is a plaza I can understand limited seating and space. I would suggest that the owner gets a new table as this one likes to love a lot. But, we make do! My boyfriend's own review would be: "for 5 bucks this pizza is perfect. LWe stopped in for some Funnel Cake (pictured in the window) and Horchata. They were out of Horchata, so I got a Caramel Mocha instead. With tax, the funnel cakes were $8.50 each. The gentleman working the cash register was very friendly and offered to bring the desserts to us in the plaza seating area since they were going to take 6 minutes. I'll wait 6 minutes for fresh Funnel Cake! As soon as we began eating, we knew something was wrong. They were stale, hard as a rock in places and cold in other places. We approached the employee and asked if they served us old, reheated Funnel Cakes. He was surprised and said No, he took them out of the freezer and cooked them in the oven. They weren't old. OMG. Frozen and baked funnel cakes. I told him that they were horrible. And they weren't cheap! The only reason I did not rate this place as 1 star is that the employee offered us a refund and said he would talk to the owner. read more

I think I found my spaghetti place. Their sauce is flavorful instead of the normal acidic sauce. I got the spaghetti with meat sauce. I think I'll try their other entrees next time. Inconspicuous place located at the mexican plaza but I will return. Friendly service. read more

The gentleman that works here is absolutely lovely! The food is wonderful and at a fair price. I think most people do take out because there isn't very much seating room. We ordered the lasagna, fried calamari and the steak plate. Everything was full of flavor and seasoned to perfection. There is also a variety of drinks to choose from and fun desserts like churros and funnel cake along with the traditional cheese cake and tiramisu. Overall, I will be coming back. I want to try the Mexican pizza next. I highly recommend this place as a great hidden location. read more

Love love love this little spot! I've been coming here ever since I attended the beauty school that used to be there in 2007! I'm not sure why I never thought about leaving a review for them but for some reason today I felt like doing so. I always get the same thing, a chicken milanesa sandwich and it's truly my favorite sandwich out of any place I've ever had one. The bread is baked and crispy; not burnt but just perfect. They give you a side of jalapeño which I think is great because I'm Mexican and we need our jalapeños and this is the perfect little twist! :) I read one of the comments where someone added that to their complaint, not sure why--just don't eat the jalapeños if you don't want them, no big deal. The owner is such a nice man, he remembers me every time I go, and knows that I don't want onion and to please add avocado. The inside is very small, but there is ample space right outside under shady seating with cute views of the plaza. I truly recommend this place, and if you havent tried the milanesa sandwich do so, if you're craving something warm but fresh! :) read more

DISGUSTING This is Mexican food disguised as Italian food. We ordered 2 sandwiches, They both came on thin hard bread. the Italian sub had very little meat and processed white american cheese, The meatball sub was very burnt around the edges, the sauce was watery and sugary, the meatballs we tiny and hard plus it was more green peppers then anything. It should have been called a green pepper sandwich. This cost 16.25 we only ate 1/4 each and threw the rest away. Our order was for pick up but what we saw of the place in the few moments that we were there was pretty filthy. I was very tempted to just walk out but my boyfriend was super hungry so we just chanced it. A chance I wish we never took. Super gross on all levels. read more

Ladies and gentlemen this restaurant was the worst of the worst place I've had in a while, inside the plaza there's many restaurants and cool shopping places to check out so when I first headed to this restaurant LA FORCACCIA the menu looks so delicious and tasty the pizza looks great and tasty so I ordered a large pizza with a 6 piece wings so I'm going to start off the Buffalo wings, from a scale 0-10 I give it a 1.0 the reason why I say this is because I only ate one and the taste of the wing was horrible and tasted like very cheap quality chicken and it wasn't cooked right it still had blood through the meat. Now I ordered LA Forcaccia pizza from a scale 0-10 I give it a straight 3.2 the reason I say this is because i wasn't expecting the bread to get dried up so fast and the quality of the cheese was bad guys it had a weird taste at the end my buddy didn't like the meal at all.... I spent in total of $29.50 just for a large pizza and 6 piece Buffalo wings also 1 drink of Jarritos totally not worth the money and the meal my friends so buyer beware ! Amazing! The whole strip is filled with restaurants, and you feel like you have been transported to Mexico. I had the pleasure of working with a gentlemen. (I assume he was the owner) He mentioned that he used to work in an Italian restaurant for many years and learned from them. Little gem in the heart of the Valley. 5 stars if your eating it fresh out the sweeter than pancake syrup homey's hands. Inside of the plaza, plenty of parking in the back. Customer service is amazing. l had the Milanesa Sándwich w/ Fries, the wifey had the Chicken Alfredo. Both super fresh and filling, bread toasted to perfection with just the right amount of love. I decided to write this review because I've been coming here for than three years and really liked this place but I was disappointed in their yelp was lacking info and doesn't give justice to this place. Here info on this place 1) Food, their food is great they got many choices varying from Lasagna, Fettuccini Alfredo, Mariscos, wings, fries, shrimp, churros, funnel cake, raspados and much much more. with that being said that's why I really like coming here you can literally eat something new for three months straight. 2) Taste, The food is wonderful I haven't had an issue with food being under or over cooked at this place or overly salty or bland dish, I really like there Forcaccia Sampler. 3) Price, The food is a bit pricey but the food is well proportioned. I shared an alfredo fettuccini with my girl before and we got full. The thing about the price is that the whole shopping center has nearly identical prices. 4) Staff, The store is run by an owner and at times an employee. The owner is super nice waiving at people who pass and very approachable, he speaks choppy English but fully understands it. I haven't dealt with the employee so I don't have much to say. 5) Location, The place itself is small it can fit two people inside but they are located in the Plaza de Valle and right outside this restaurant they have outdoor sitting for easily 30 people. So this is not an Italian restaurant. It's in the Plaza de la Valle little shopping center, and it's basically Mexican food mixed with American fried items ... and also pasta. I ordered a turkey sandwich which I was expecting to be an Italian sub, but it was essentially a torta. It was a pretty decent sandwich, but not at all what I was expecting when I ordered. I was also very surprised by the restaurant itself, it was a tiny hole in the wall, with barely enough room to get inside. I ordered a side salad and drink combo, and was given the incorrect salad dressing. Honestly, I doubt I will get food from here again, but the food wasn't bad. And for less than $10 for a sandwich, salad and drink, it seemed price appropriate. I wanted to just make sure that people know this isn't by any means a traditional Italian spot ... and personally I would be nervous to try the pasta. read more

Ordered online. They forgot my drink and French Fries when I ordered the Chicken Milanese Sandwich combo with fries and a Coke. The bread was good and that's about it. This was one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had. It had iceberg lettuce, tiny tomatoes, cucumber, a pitiful looking onion, mayo and yellow mustard. Very good food I've eaten there about a dozen times now and it's very good I've had the chicken fajita sandwich the lasagna, the chicken Alfredo so very good compared to Olive Garden where everything is out of the can or frozen this guy makes everything from scratch, specially their marinara and other sauces, im not a picky eater per say but due to my work I am a very seasoned and refined eater, every day I'm out eating at top of the line restaurants like the Gulfstream, South Beverly Grill, Maggianos etc. so I know a bit about food. To all of those leaving mediocre reviews, grow up people! read more
