I honestly cannot believe that having lived in LA my whole life that the thought of Mexican fusion pizza never crossed my mind but wow, we will 100% be ordering from here again! The concept of Mexican pizza is so "of course" (or I suppose "por supuesto") that I am actually shocked that I had not had it before the past month. On this occasion, I was sharing pizza with a vegetarian friend, so I ordered the elote and nopales pizzas. Both were solid choices, although I think I prefer the nopales pizza. The elote pizza was a bit too salty for me when it was fresh/warm, but surprisingly really improved by being cold (an argument for cold pizza!). The nopales pizza has a nice vegetal flavor with some acidity and spice. It was actually quite spicy for me but very enjoyable nonetheless. There are plenty of places to sit. The man at the front of house was very helpful (bilingual in Spanish and English). It was the time before Christmas that I was ordering from here, so Christmas decor was plentiful and exciting. I've been coming here for years and regret not reviewing them sooner. They have a huge selection of food which sometimes works against a restaurant but not in this case. We've tried several of their dishes and have 0 complaints... We ultimately keep coming back for their Asada pizza though. I was skeptical about this place just due to the location and the inside was kinda empty, I came late night mind you, but the pizza itself is delicious!!! For anyone who likes Mexican food they definitely have created an amazing fusion! Salsa was delicious, the elote pizza was absolutely on point, prolly my fav so far and the pizza itself is kind of like Neapolitan style, which in my eyes is the best kind! This was our 2nd time having asada pizza from this location. 1st time we had it delivered and this past time I placed order online for pick up. It was ready exactly at the time specified, piping hot, fast pickup , staff was friendly and most importantly the establishment was very clean! Our pizza was so delicious, really tastes like an asada taco! They give you salsa and cotija cheese to top your pizza which went perfect with it. They have very unique pizzas. Most of them are pretty good. I've only tried the Carne Asada and the corn one would highly recommend

This looks good but was not. First, it had a dreded corn meal crust which I despise. Now I'm an "extra cheese " girlie but this was wayyyyy too much cheese. I'd say 25% crust, 50% cheese and 25% toppings and super oily because of it. I will say the ingredients were fresh though. $31 for a Chile / Elote half 'n half so not cheap. The place looks and smells authentically Tiajuanese if that's your vibe. With a 4.6 star review by over 125 people I either ordered the wrong pizza or this is due to the fact that absolutely no one else is putting Mexican food on pizza and it's a local hit. Walked in to place an order Half asada half el pastor (based on reviews) I expected to like the asada more but actually really enjoyed the el pastor. Overall couldn't really detect the bacon or chorizo. Also could have used more jalapeños. Finally gave this long standing Sylmar restaurant a go after many years of driving by it. To my surprise the asada pizza was delightful. The size and portions were appropriately sized tasted pretty darn good. Did not satisfy the "pizza cravings" for some in my family as their expectations were set around the traditional marinara style most are used to instead of the refried beans base of the asada pizza. Still, the pizza is good if you come in with an open pizza mind so to speak. I would recommend ordering and picking up your food rather than eating at the location. Mosr ppl use finger gloves for injuries... who knows what I have been exposed to. We kindly asked for our money back, even pulling the employee to the side away from his current customers.
