We were a party of 5 and they did get busy and thank God we were already seated and ordered our food. Food: Chicken Empanada Beef Arepas My friend ordered a couple of appetizers but I forgot what it was called but I'll upload the pix. It was good. The Empanada was delicious. I loved the texture and the chicken was flavorful. The Arepas was okay alone. But when you add the sauce it elevated and tasted so much better. The sauces were a green, spicy and another that is like an aioli. Now the negative. Service was horrible. 4 out of 5 of us got our food and the main person who we were celebrating did not get her food. We were already done and she finally got her order. I had to ask a couple of times for a cup of ice. I haven't drank can soda in a long time but it was $4.14. I was like WOW but ok. Overall, I'd still return because the food was delicious. The server just needs help. Im thinking she did not put my friends order in. I was Happy to see a guy walking around asking how's everything. We told him our friend didn't get her food and he asked the kitchen about it.

The size of this pepito could feed 3 people I had YEARS since I had a pepito and this was so satisfying and delicious. My husband had a cachapa with cheese. For those who don't know, a cachapa is like a corn pancake, but this cachapa is not trying to be anything else but like a great cachapa. They gave us cilantro/garlic sauce, corn sauce, and spicy sauce to try with the pepito. I also had mango and passion fruit juice, it felt great with this summer heat, plus, that mango juice reminded me of the juice my mom used to make for me. Great service and super friendly people. Please try the pepito and the cachapas if you get a chance!

Everything i have ever tried here has been surprising and delicious. My dad ordered the pork tamale, which was a really nice maize dough with a fatty flavorful piece of pork on top. Everyone is friendly and they have a typical taco shop vibe going on, but the food is anything but typical.

Other than that, the service was great and the food was really good as well! The chicken had a lot of flavor and was very juicy, the skin of course had the most flavor, but it was still well seasoned well-into the middle of the chicken. We also tried the plate that came with ribs/pork/a tamale. The tamale was kind of dry and lacking in flavor, the pork rib was good but the other pork pieces were super tough (but it did have a lot of flavor). I would definitely go back just to order family-style of that chicken, salad, and fried yucca! The two green sauces they served everything with were really good as well and if you come here, I would ask for a lot of it, because all the food paired well with those sauces/salsas.
