Great food, great service, if you're looking for a great Mexican place, La Galera should hit all the marks. Come hungry and order the Molcajete Fajita dish like I did, it was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor is a little sparse but they just moved locations so maybe it'll get a more Latin feel instead of rustic?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of my favorites in the area!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the vibe in here. The decor is so nice and it's so clean and the service was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm not a huge fan of Mexican overall but my husband already asked when we're going back and we just went today We got the guacamole, queso, chicken quesadillas and beef tacos and everything was great. I'd definitely recommend getting something small and asking a lot of questions because the waitress was sooo helpful and had a lot of recommendations that really helped!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]New location is super nice! Seems bigger.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very accommodating as we had a baby with us in our group. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The booths were very comfy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came out fast and hot. Yum!

NEW LOCATION REVIEW. Food was great. Seriously took less than three minutes for the food to be served. Great place if you're in a rush. I had a cheese quesadilla with a side of beans, rice, and guacamole. The guacamole is very fresh. Chips are a little under salted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and comfortable environment, spacious booth seatings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great restaurant.

I would give a 5 star but [[HIGHLIGHT]]why on earth does the men's bathroom not have a baby changing table... that was not cool![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great tho ! Very quick to come out and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a very spacious restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I got the pina fiesta and queso fundido.

As always, delicious Mexican! We around 3pm this time and they did not disappoint! No wait time and the food was so fresh! Staff were quick and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very family feels inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Combination. One taco. One enchilada. Rice and beans.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Authentic atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very good food. Very fast service and food coming out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Excited to see the new space they are moving to as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Oh My god the new spot is so frigging great still my favorite restaurant. I wish I would have gotten the waitresses name she was awsome. Hubby better have tipped her good

I've been going here for years and years as my favorite Mexican. Now everytime I come home for the holidays or a visit, it's on my "to-do" list when I'm back. So good!!

Do read my previous review. All comments still apply. Included chips and salsa are addictively good; flavorful but not too spicy. The lunch fajita special is a generous quantity of QUALITY food at an exceptionally reasonable price considering everything that accompanies it. Servers are friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dining room is clean and nicely decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A must go-to when in the area.

The food here is pretty bland. If you're looking for a local Mexican restaurant El Cubilete is down the road and has much better food.

Great food for a great price. Who can beat $22.00 for two meals two drinks and all the chips and salsa you can eat?

If you ever enter a restaurant and it is dead silence, turn around and walk away. Happy people talk! We are thrilled with their tasty foods and there has never been a problem!! The wait help are courteous, nice and cheery, and we see other patrons talking to them before departing, complete with hugs! I can say in all confidence that the food served here will never be that muck others enjoy going elsewhere to "eat", you know, that food is has little taste, has all that good artificial stuff that's bad for you and will eventually put you on the road to the extreme care of a hospital! It's seems WE are one of the few who eat the chicken & fish fish, which is enough for three but I could, and have ate it all meself and often! It's tasty, full of great flavor, and the friendly smiley help makes it even better!! Coming here just to drink is NOT going to a Mexican restaurant.....that's just drinking at a restaurant! We'd rather eat a real meal! That's why we come here!!

The owner stopped by the table and conversed a few other times he was walking by. Their complimentary chips and salsa are heavenly. The chips have a southwest seasoning of sorts, and the salsa is not your typical salsa... but a few bars above. We also ordered queso. It was TO DIE FOR. I need to go back already for more chips and dip. My fiancé ordered the tacos... his three were carne asada, adobo grilled shrimp, and the pork belly. He struggled to pick a favorite. He loved the sauce on the pork belly, and decided the carne asada was his favorite. I went with the shrimp fajitas. Very good sized meal. The shrimp were delicious. The Mexican rice was a bit different than usual Mexican rice... seemed more like a blend of other grains, and instead of your typical refried beans, they were just straight up pinto. LOTS of food. We went home beyond stuffed, and still wanting more chips.

It looked like there were only about 3 tables seated at the time and a few people at the bar. The restaurant has a cool vibe with bright colors and a VW bus in the middle that you can sit in! So neat! We chose to sit outside on the patio, which was a nice option to have. Once seated we were brought our menus and shortly there after complimentary chips and salsa. We each ordered a drink, one was a non-alcoholic grapefruit jalapeno refresher and the other was an alcoholic watermelon basil margarita. The NA one unfortunately didn't have any heat or flavor at all of the jalapeno in the actual drink, but it was ok. My friend enjoyed his watermelon drink, but only had one because it was a bit sweet. We ordered the Pozole Rojo, shrimp taco trio and shrimp fajitas. The Pozole Rojo was great and definitely my favorite part of the meal. It had a lot of pork in it and I enjoy the hominy corn, which you don't see on many menus. My friend really enjoyed the shrimp as did I; it was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The beans that came with the fajita were quite bland, which was disappointing. All in all, I would give them another shot.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

This was the first and last time I will ever come to this taco place…read more Nice start to review, don't you think? So we walk in it's not that bad of a looking place inside. They only except credit cards and debit cards, no cash. They are way over priced, and I do mean way over priced. $16 for my three little tacos, which were not even good ,sorry to say. $17 for my son's chicken quesadilla. I took a bite of it and now that was good, not worth $17 but it was good. He should gotten two quesadillas for that price. My other son and my other son's girlfriend both got the homestyle tacos and they looked OK and my son says that he thinks it was almost worth the $15 but still that is really a lot of money for those little normal size tacos. When your food is done, they call your name which you can't even hear it unless you're standing right by the cashier area. So you can't just go and sit down like I was doing, you have to stand right there and wait, which is kind of a pain in the butt ,cause you get in anybody's way who comes there to order some food. Most people are coming in and then leaving, I'm guessing due to the " card only" rule. It wasn't a real comfortable place to be in And like I said, my food was not very good and it was $16 which is pretty crazy for three little tacos. I don't know if the chicken was good or not. I'll find out in a little while. I'm sure. Lol. But no, I will not be returning there.
