    Des plats délicieux et un acceuil très sympa. J'aimais beaucoup mon canard à l'orange et le polenta était parfait. J'ai aussi volé presque toutes les pommes de terres du magret de canard que ma mère a commandé... croquants et bien assaissonées. ! Et on ne peut pas manquer le crème brûlée avec le saveur d'orange... il me plaisait bcp ... Normalement jsuis végétarienne.... Chut....

    It's permanently closed. No service whatsoever. Food tasted of city air. AND it was raining. I'll never go back to this place again.

    Best duck restaurant ever and upon exiting the restaurant, I told the server to pass on to the chef that I almost felt like in heaven! On my checklist for this Paris visit was to try Duck Magret and Duck Confit ...and in one swoop, I got to try both! It is a small unassuming looking spot when first viewed from the outside, but don't let looks deceive you! The is about 10 - 14 tables inside, with a few outdoors (with heating lamps on cold days). You step inside, you're warmly greeted by friendly and attentive staff. For non French speakers, the server we had spoke very good English, as many of the others. The dishes we had were all great! Juicy pieces of duck, cooked exactly how ordered. I liked the duck magret the best. And the potatoes. At first they do not look anything special other than small round sliced pieces, but when you bite into them, wow! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and not mushy like some fries! So in our short 2 day stay in Paris this time, our best meal we had and I will definitely put this on my list to go back to!

    Quaint little restaurant that specializes in duck. Came here for Valentine's Day and had the duck carpaccio and duck breast stuffed with foi gras along with some red wine. First time trying duck carpaccio and thoroughly enjoyed it. Duck breast was juicy and eating it with the foi gras balanced the flavors really well. (Sorta like eating a steak with a little fat attached) Our server Cassandra was very accommodating and took very good care of us and even chatted with us a little since we were the last ones at the restaurant. We look forward to eating here again.

    Small place with exceptional customer service from Cassandra & Victor. First time there and I was treated like I've been going there for a hundred years. The duck breast was delicious as was the Foie Gras. Definitely need a reservation though.

    Beautiful meal with wonderful service. Fois Gras starter, Escargot starter, Duck confit, Duck Magret and L'Escalope de Fois Gras Frais entrees were all delicious. Highly recommend.

    Delicious! The duck was great, service was good too. Had a nice almanac tasting there afterwards. We sat outside and had a ton of fun.

    Paris was our last stop on a 2 week vacation and this topped the list of meals we had. This was the best duck confit. Crispy, well seasoned skin and tender, moist meat. I'm not a huge fan of potatoes but I gobbled these ones down. They are obviously cooked in a massive amount of butter and were a mix of tender, crispy, and buttery. So good! The salad really rounded out the meal and was a nice addition. My husband loved the cassoulet which came with duck confit and sausage. The service was very good and the staff was so incredibly warm and welcoming.

    Reservations are definitely recommended since this is a petite little restaurant and the outdoor seating fills up fast around 7-7:30 PM. Overall, our experience was good! I had the duck magret (breast) with honey sauce and my boyfriend had the duck tagliatelle. Both meals were good, the highlight of mine being the potatoes (and I usually don't even like potatoes!) They were somehow the perfect combination of crispy but soft. I would definitely choose the duck breast over the tagliatelle if we were to return again. The service was friendly, even though Paris doesn't have the best reputation for friendliness towards tourists! Would recommend if you like duck.

    Amazing dinner! Went with our girls and the duck confit was awesome. Great wines suggestion and will make a point to return.

However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. Less friendly, borderline rude, took a long while for table service even though it was not busy, rolled their eyes about us sharing and at our wine bottle selection. We didn't feel welcomed. Food remains good, but not outstanding. Roll of the dice on service. I'd say if you're in the area and you don't have to wait it'd be worthwhile, otherwise seek a less touristy spot.
