This place has gotten so expensive and never changes service is horrible, the staff is rude, and like you bother them by asking a question or ordering. The restaurant is always dirty. The food was over-fried we ordered 2 seafood samplers, fried Yuca, and tostones, and as mentioned all over-fried and priced like a 5-star fine dining restaurant. read more

This is a good fast food chain that specializes in rotisserie chicken, but also has a good selection of Peruvian dishes and seafood options. This location also has a small fresh seafood market section. I have not tried their seafood dishes yet, but the rotisserie chicken is very well done with excellent seasoning, same as their grilled chicken breast (my favorite). They offer a nice selection of homemade mild and spicy sauces to add to your food, and a traditional Peruvian salad dressing that goes great with your meal, not too thick, yet creamy and full of flavor. And for dessert, the have several options including the traditional Suspiro Limeña and alfajores. The place is kept nice and clean, and service is good and fast. This chain has grown a lot over the last few years, so there are many locations throughout Dade and Broward counties. Give it a try. read more

Great location in the Walmart plaza, kept clean & with friendly service. Indoor seating only with adequate amount of booths & tables. Sauce and beverage station was stocked & clean. 3 stars is mostly for the food & price. 5 of us came to eat here and it came out to about $110 with tip. For a Peruvian fast food place with average food I felt it was way overpriced as there's an authentic Peruvian restaurant by our home we go to all the time with the same price or less and better quality food & a actual full service. I had a ceviche mixto that was priced right under $20 with a combination of 2 mussels, fish, squid and 3 shrimp. We needed to order (and pay for) more of the ceviche juice as it was very dry. Flavor was good at least. My boyfriend had a lomo saltado and said the quality of the meat was poor. My mom had tallarines verdes with steak and said her noodles were very bland. My overall takeaway is spend your money on a more authentic Peruvian spot for the same price & better service. read more

Great Peruvian fast food. My wife is from Peru and we eat at La Granja when we don't want to cook. The Lomo Saltado is enough for two people. We usually get either that or the tallarin saltado and a side to share. Today we had the "seafood gumbo" which is their Chupe de mariscos. It was large and delicious. There are some that have really good ceviche but not all of them. Plantation is where we go for it. Love the 'onion bar' too. Value is really good. Gringos love it too. Always very clean too. Why is this most expensive La granja? Not sure. There's a big price difference between this location and others in the area. I normally order the same thing when I don't feel like cooking and it's almost always good. The popcorn chicken with fried is my oldest favorite, chicken is always crispy. The rotisserie chicken is always flavorful no complains there. The white rice is seasoned. Garlic potatoes are fine not great and so are the tostones. Skip the sweet plantains as they are always overcooked. read more

I am a huge fan of La Granja and have been since I first stumbled upon one of their locations (the Fort Pierce, Florida location to be exact) probably over fifteen years ago. I am fortunate enough that La Granja has since opened in the town I live (Orlando, Florida), but often when I am in south Florida, if I see a La Granja, odds are, I will be stopping at that La Granja. La Granja started in Aruba back in 1993 and expanded into Florida in 1995. The company seems to still be most popular in south Florida, but I see more and more locations opening in the Orlando, Florida area, so I guess the expansion continues into central Florida, which is great news. La Granja is à fast-food type version of Peruvian food and what I have pretty much always gotten at La Granja is their chicken. It usually comes with rice, beans and plantains and is very good, especially when this place is more fast-food (though I guess the new chic term would be fast-casual) than a traditional sit-down type restaurant. I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars. read more

I agree with John L! This is definitely the most expensive La Granja I've ever been to. After my visit today I probably won't be going back for a while. I live near here and every month or two they keep bumping the price by $.70-$.80. They even just replaced their credit card reader with one that offers no "no tip" option basically guilting people into tipping. Just hit the green "Enter" button to avoid the tip option. What exactly am I tipping for? Seriously though, we're talking about Chicken, beans and rice! Some of the cheapest staples out there. The food here is great. The chicken is always flavorful and the meat is always cooked to perfection. I love the soups. Their chicken soup is a winner. Lots of flavor and lots of chicken. But my favorite os the Seafood Gumbo. It os big enough for two people to share with a side of rice and plantains. Every time I get it someone at the table will ask to try it and sure enough they want a bowl too. Super delicious broth filled with seafood. Amazing. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the staff does not consistently wear masks. But the food is great. Love it. read more

This place has great sides for vegetarian and vegan's. Their beans and rice are super flavorful and tasty. This sweet plantain are always perfectly cooked. The only downside is that for some reason this location doesn't give grilled onions and bell peppers like some other locations closer to Miami. It's OK when you're on the go you get what you can get and thankfully this place is a hit with the flavors. Sidenote the portions are pretty good. I go here at least once a month and the food is extremely fresh, tasty and great quantities. The place is always busy and orders keep coming out looking fantastic. I've had the fish soup which is full of fresh tasty fish and vegetables that's enough for a meal. Served piping hot and great spices. My son had the steak which he loved and I had fish with shrimp and garlic which was my favorite. My wife had chicken brown in huge chunks of chicken and tasty vegetables. I've been calling for about 20 mins and no answer. I placed an order for delivery and specifically asked for dark meat only as my kids will not eat their white meat. I got delivered a whole chicken of complete white meat. It seems like they did this maliciously because white meat actually cost more, they have an up charge if you ask for white meat.. so the fact that they sent me four large pieces of white meat seems to me like it was done on purpose. I always have an issue with this specific location ,by far the worst la Granja around. On a previous order, the arroz chaufa was so salty, I told my kid not to eat it. It sucks that all deliveries in my area come from this location. I miss the Hallandale location, they never treated their customers this way. Ordered my food at 6:44 pm to go. One popcorn chicken and one criollo fish. Got my order at 7:36pm. I asked several times why my order was taking so long. One girl gave me attitude telling me the fish took long, with out realizing my order had been skipped or forgotten. The girl on the cash register realized my order had been skipped and kept telling her employee to stop giving me attitude, and being rude after I waited almost an hour for 2 meals. I've called this restaurant 15 times in the past hour and no one is picking up. I called another location to see what was going on. They were extremely rude and just hung the phone up on me. I'm giving them 3 stars because they are new, but I came to this location 4 times because it's right across from my home. I noticed the plantains are not cooked well all times they were soggy and under cooked. La Granja are known for their plantains in now I have to travel to pines to the other location. Cashier was distracted the entire time I was there on the phone. Even while taking my order she was on the phone. I requested all white whole chicken and she keyed in on the computer all dark. I had to tell her that my receipt was wrong so she went to the kitchen to assure my order was correct. Also, I asked for garlic potatoes and they were out.
