    Cypress salad

Server was super nice! My mom got the Cesar salad with salmon and said it was excellent. I got the cypress salad which was also great. Walking through the restaurant there was a ton of dirty tables but I think they just had a huge rush. Overall great experience, this place always is:)

Great experience we called before hand you cannot make an over the phone reservation but they said it was a 30 minute wait but when we got there we got sat immediately our server was Kristy and she was amazing 10/10 the food was so good and the drink was amazing too also our server gave us a piece of carrot cake for Mother's Day which was so sweet I will 100% be coming back when I get the chance!

Another visit to Jay. Alexander's last night and I must say their crab cakes are my favorite in Palm Beach. There is absolutely nothing wrong with those crab cakes, they are perfection! I am a no breading involved type of crab cake, girl, and the very light Panko breadcrumbs on the outside are exactly the crispy crunch that's needed for the inside that is all wrapping and nothing else. The sauces they provide to accompany. The crab pigs are fantastic, and they are very generous with the size of the crab cakes. That has become like go to dish at J Alexander's these days. We of course had the carrot cake, the chocolate cake, which is so rich. I really appreciate the fact that there are no sprinkles, no chocolate chips, just chocolate cake and delicious rich, chocolatey, fudgy, icing chocolate sauce, and the perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream to go along with it. We also had the Cajun ribeye, which was on the specials menu, as well as the smoked salmon dip that was on the specials menu. There's a Thai chopped salad there and then the regular steak Maui, which is their house ribeye two side sides of there not your average macaroni and cheese, which is always fantastic. And we tried the brussels sprouts as well that was one of the special vegetables for the evening. The brussels sprouts were OK nothing special about them roasted with salt and pepper. The mac & cheese delivered as always :-) the salad Was fantastic as always. And the Cajun ribeye was seasoned nicely. There was minimal spice though so if you're a blackening Cajun season kind of person like me it was a little bit underwhelming, but still delicious. Anyway, all these choices were really good. The smoked salmon dip was pretty mild Yeah fantastic dinner. This was such a delightful dinner. J. Alexander never disciplines! And I'm always excited when we can get a nice early reservation at the PGA location because I need time for that amazing food to digest lol. Another review giving it to you, Straight No Chaser! Enjoy!

It was pricey , and nothing stands out compared to other places with similar menus . So I guess it's up to your individual expectations.

But it's been 9 hours, and I still can't stop thinking about the Australian Wagyu Filet Katsu Sando I had for lunch. It was tiny, but packed a huge flavor, and it was the first time I ate a steak that melted like butter with every bite. It is amazing how a filet sandwich can be so soft, so tender, so flavorful - it's an experience that I won't soon forget. Because the sandwich was pretty small, I also enjoyed the Frito pie. The saltiness of the Fritos (that reminded me of being a child) juxtaposed with the tanginess of the pickled red onions, cream, cilantro and savory chopped wagyu meat was such a fun, but elevated nacho dish. There were so many drinks to choose from, but I really wanted to focus on the food this time. The staff (I think her name is Tuesday) was so kind and knowledgeable - she's the one who led me to the epic sandwich experience I had. The vibe was pretty chill despite being extremely busy. I'm typically not very cognizant of what people around me are eating, but the father and son at the table next to me had a burger, burrito, pb&j sando and more, and I have to admit, I was kind of jealous, because I wanted to try it all! What a gem of a restaurant - I have already made plans to come back with my parents!

For dinner we split the Indoroni (they call grown up Mac and cheese), the dish is HUGE and super filling, and a fish special. The fish came encrusted with their infamous sauce on top over a huge salad with roasted peppers, capers, red onions, and lettuce and a really tasty salad dressing. You get to choose from a few different fish, whatever is available that day. We went with the triple-tail. Super cute spot. Fish is always delicious and we really enjoy the ambiance. From the sweet pretty blonde hostess to the server and the staff, it just feels like there's an energy there. I also don't usually get into food. I'm not a foodie - I'll spend a lot for a good meal, but I generally don't get too excited about many restaurants. I'm excited about this one. if you're gonna go there for 1 meal, get the MEXICAN STREET CORN and the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. We always get the corn and our server even gave us little wet naps to clean up with (clutch). And I absolutely love their CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - three warm large chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk which was only maybe $10? Crazy - I've also heard happy hour is amazing but I work and can never get there. This time I got the SEAFOOD SAUTEE and it was one of the best seafood dishes I had. Looking back, I'd recommend asking to replace the potatoes with shrimp if you can. They were so good. Our server Natalia was great and said the shrimp is from Argentina.. My wife had the PORK COLLAR - I thought it was good but I didn't think it was as good as my seafood. Our daughter had the burger - really solid and she couldn't finish it. Bonus for Dad. The last thing I would say is that this place isn't gonna be for everyone because it's noisy - probably because the bartenders serve great drinks! There was one woman at the bar that was laughing incredibly loud (uggg) but the staff couldn't have done anything about that. If you want to go there and have a really quiet sort of like laid back meal or you get triggered easily or something - SIT OUTSIDE. Otherwise, you're gonna hear music, people talking, laughing, and having fun. That also makes it great for families - we had a couple of kids sitting right beside us. So this is one of our favorite restaurants now in the Palm Beach Gardens area. Highly highly highly suggest you check it out get but GET A RESERVATION - this place is busy. I hope this helps!

On our drive home from Miami to Jacksonville, we traded Interstate 95 for the slower, more scenic A1A. It made for beautiful views, but after crawling through one coastal town after another, lunch became a priority. A quick search landed us at Stage Kitchen & Bar on PGA Boulevard, a restaurant I later learned had earned a place in the 2025 Michelin Guide. After one meal, it was easy to understand why. We began with two appetizers that could not have been more different, duck confit egg rolls and a grilled cheese. Calling the grilled cheese "just a grilled cheese" would be unfair. Brie melted between perfectly griddled bread kissed with white truffle oil already sounds luxurious. Pair it with a bright mango jam and suddenly a childhood comfort food becomes something unexpectedly elegant. Richness met sweetness in all the right proportions. The duck confit egg rolls were equally memorable. The duck was deeply seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, giving each bite layers of warm, savory flavor. The accompanying peanut chutney added sweetness, nuttiness, and just enough contrast to keep the dish from becoming too heavy. These egg rolls packed far more personality than their modest appearance suggested. For lunch, my wife ordered the grilled black grouper sandwich. The fish, sourced fresh from local suppliers, was flaky, moist, and clean tasting. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and a malt vinegar aioli gave the sandwich brightness without overwhelming the fish. It was simple, balanced, and exactly what a fresh fish sandwich should be. I chose Stage's signature burger, two Certified Angus Beef patties topped with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, sunflower sprouts, and their house "fancy sauce." This is the kind of burger that reminds you why burgers became America's favorite sandwich in the first place. Cooked to a juicy medium, every bite was rich without becoming heavy. The caramelized onions added sweetness, the white cheddar delivered sharpness, and the sunflower sprouts provided freshness and texture. The fancy sauce contributed just enough heat to keep everything interesting without stealing the spotlight. Dessert continued the restaurant's habit of taking familiar flavors and giving them thoughtful refinement. My sticky rice ice cream, finished with mango sauce and toasted coconut, captured everything I love about mango sticky rice while transforming it into something lighter and more playful. It was creative without feeling gimmicky. My wife ordered three macarons from local pastry maker Macaroner, S'mores, Passion Fruit, and Lime Coconut. Each shell was delicately crisp before giving way to a soft, airy center, exactly as a proper macaron should. Stage Kitchen & Bar takes familiar dishes and quietly elevates them through technique, quality ingredients, and restraint. Nothing feels overcomplicated or designed simply to impress. Every plate feels carefully considered. Sometimes trusting Google is a gamble. This time, it paid off. Great restaurants don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they're simply waiting for hungry travelers willing to take the next exit.
