A South Florida staple for sure. We came here during lunch and luckily be beat the rush hour. It started getting busy right after we had our order. We got the churrasco meal and steak bowl. We also added side of fried yuca and a mamey shake. They cook the meat good and flavorful. The only think was that the steak bowl was so greasy and oily it was almost impossible for me to eat. If youre craving a heavy lunch this is definitely a good place to go. Though Churrasco is an expensive meat but here the price I think was kinda high. I could go to a proper non fast casual restaurant and order a churrasco with the price. The mamey shake was also pretty good. The place gets packed really quick so the option of taking food to go isnt a bad idea. read more

Stopped by on my lunch break, originally I was in the drive through but I was waiting for 30 mins. I was already committed at that point so I went inside to order. I ordered the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans. Got my food literally right there and then, that should've been my first choice. I use to love how seasoned that chicken would be but it truly isn't the same. My chicken tasted burnt, it may not look it but the flavors were. This is coming from receiving an order of JUST plantains and meat when the order specifically states it comes with rice, beans, 1/2 Ib of steak like come on... use common sense. An order of 1lb grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast yielded much less than I anticipated and the flavor was bland. The rice and black beans that accompanied the order were delicious. The spicy fish was buried underneath some cream sauce and wasn't well received by my husband. The side order of tostones were chewy and crispy, bland and unsalted and the oil they were fried in must have been old. I will not likely order from here again. read more

I've come to this location a few times and it is always delicious! The chicken soup is perfect for when you are feeling under the weather just be careful because you will find some bones. The Boneless Breast with rice & beans platter is tasty and I love the sauce bar where they have creamy, spicy or sweet sauces and onions to choose from to amp up the flavors. This is one of the better La Granja's that I have been to. The food is always delicious. They use tenderloin for their Lomo Saltado and you get a very generous portion. The fajitas are also one of my favorites. I always see people eating soup, and their 1/4 chicken and family meals are terrific. It's so good that this is the first place my daughter's name when I ask them what they want to eat. My youngest even asked to come here for her birthday dinner. Tonight I had take-out at one of my favorite Latin restaurants. I usually dine in, but due to the weather hasn't been really great in South Florida, I got it to go. Anyway, the restaurant wasn't that crowded around 5:00pm inside, but the drive thru was so I went in and ordered my dinner. The employees take the orders correctly, they work at a fast pace, and the food is served hot. I ordered the ribs, garlic potatoes and plantains. I barely eat rice, so I didn't get the black beans either. The ribs were pretty good and the garlic potatoes were delicious. I had enough to share with my family since they had already eaten earlier. I love the different sauces, but my favorite is the "garlic sauce." I wanted the Tres Leches, but they were sold out. La Granja always have specials daily for yourself or you and your family. I don't eat chicken, but for families that do, they have great deals. They also have great beverages and they also serve beer. I will definitely return. First visit to this location, has a great menu of chicken, fish and pork dishes. Prices are low, 1/2 chicken with rice, black beans, 3 small plátanos and 12 Pepsi $8.45. Food was good, o believe better than Pollo Tropical and they give you bigger portions! Service is fast food type, you order get your food and have a seat. They have a condiment bar with varios onions sauces eVery clean restaurant but manager was sampling various dishes in a plastic cup and used the same cup and spoon plus touched the ladle to the cup!!! That is not hygienic and leads to cross contamination. You would think the manager would know better. I Update 5/15/2018 What can I say my in laws love chicken from this place so I am often asked to suck it up and take them. This visit was no different from my previous review. The food is better than Pollo Tropical and the restaurant is much cleaner. Service still seems to be lacking, on this visit I observed employees eating at the prep tables! I had the Sauteed beef (lomo saltado usually called in Peru). Worst lomo ever. Peruvian are known to be able to cook and make wonderful food: this is not the case here. It was tasteless, meat was hard as a rock and the salsas were pretty bitter. I don't know what that food was but certainly not peruvian. Decent food at a reasonable price. The food is pretty much what you will get at any other Peruvian restaurant. The portion size is decent and the rice is really good. The staff at the cash register are friendly and welcoming; however, they sometimes don't seem to understand what you are ordering and charge you for items that are supposed to be included in the meal. They also should make it apparent that a drink comes with the 1/2 chicken meal. I probably would have ordered this option if I had known this beforehand. Knowing is half the battle. read more

I have been coming here many years since the place first opened. Every time I order a combo from the menu, I always get double rice because I'm not a fan of the beans (but that's debatable) and Inca Kola (s/o to Inca Kola!). I have tried the other items on the menu but my bread and butter has always been the chicken and rice combo with their yellow onion sauce (seriously, they need to tell people how to make it). The place does give you a pretty good size portion of food plus the prices aren't too expensive. If I could write this a -1 I would. first off I got a chicken bowl and all they gave me was white rice and chicken. so then I had to go inside and tell them I wanted everything on it like red bell peppers, corn, and beans. so they did that for me and the red bell peppers were raw. not only that but the rice was mushy and the chicken tasted frozen. overall the WORST la granja ever. read more
