I would say that the dishes are more on the savory side but besides that I loved how the flavors popped out for each of their signature dishes! My favorite was definitely the pad see ew because of how well the chicken was cooked and paired with the sauced flat noodles. The service and ambiance were both amazing as well so thank you for taking care of my friends and I! The restaurant is more scenic so the windows are open where you can enjoy the night breeze and the daylight so definitely keep that in mind when you check this place out!

It surprisingly had a lot of depth and didn't taste like some random coconut curry thrown together. Some Thai spots mostly focus on their noodle dishes and kind of slack on their curry options, but that definitely was not the case here. I also went with the vegetable version since I realized I had not eaten enough fiber that day, and my god was this thing packed with vegetables. Do not be fooled by the photo either, the bowl was surprisingly deep and the dish was probably 70 to 80 percent vegetables. By the end I was insanely full and honestly felt like I got two meals out of it, which was great. If you want something filling, healthier, packed with fiber, and still a really solid green curry, this is definitely a good go to spot and I highly recommend it.

We also got a lobster roll $25, combo ($5 extra for French fries and can of soda). Both dishes taste good, but the grilled sea bass is definitely the winner! Service: we were greeted right away when we entered the store. They have seating inside but they also have some seating outside in the back. The guy at the register is super friendly, explained to us what they have as special and made recommendations. We ordered, paid and another server brought our food to the table when it was done. That server was also super friendly. We will definitely come back!

The place is small inside so we decided to sit outside because it was a beautiful day. We had to tell them it wasn't a good look to have large garbage cans and a motor bike where we have to eat. They removed the garbage cans. We had the grilled octopus and it was perfectly seasoned and tender. The grilled Bronzini was a nice size and it was really good but I had to ask if they would grill the other side. The fried snapper needed more seasoning for my taste but overall the food was good.

For an early Mother's Day celebration, my Mom requested Georgian food, and my sister found Ubani in…read moreher neighborhood. It was a rainy Saturday at around 1, so it wasn't too busy at the time. We ordered: -Eggplant rolls (eggplant with walnut, fenugreek, garlic paste, and pomegranates) -Megruli Kachapuri (classic kachapuri with extra cheese) - basically cheese bread and I mean, can you really go wrong with extra cheese? -Beef Khinkali - I would say this might only be the second time I've had Khinkali before and I don't think I'm a fan of the super thick skin. I did like that it was kind of like a hand-held soup dumpling though -Lula Kebab (ground lamb wrapped in lavash) - this was my favorite dish. They do not skimp on the meat! It's a ground meat skewer, which was very tender and flavorful (though a BIT too salty), and I loved the homemade tomato sauce it was served with. I ended up putting the sauce on everything -Kupati (Georgian-style sausage) - I liked the meat itself, but the casing was on the thicker side -Chicken in Bazhe (pan roasted Cornish hen in walnut sauce) - the chicken was a little dry, and I didn't love the walnut sauce If I were to come back, I think the only thing I would order again would be the kachapuri (or perhaps try a different variation), and definitely the kebab.

Beet salad was a hit served with big chunks of tender beets. I'm not sure if they boiled and chilled the beets or used another technique to soften them up, but it came out nicely. This time we opted for the khachapuri imeruli. It was delicious. I've yet to come across a khachapuri that I've disliked. Dough was crispy and flakey. Cheese was melty and gooey. Always such a cozy delight. We had the khinkali again - this time with cheese filling. It's a nice vegetarian friendly option, but I prefer the meat or vegetable blend fillings. Cheese in the khinkali was similar to the khachapuri, so it was redundant to order the two together. Would definitely recommend the khinkali but would pick a different filling if you're getting khachapuri. For the main course, we shared the shkmeruli - a roasted chicken in a creamy garlic sauce. I've seen this listed as chicken tabaka elsewhere. It was excellent! Less garlicky than the one I had a Saperavi earlier in the week. Chicken was juicy but the sauce was the star. We dipped the nipples of the khinkali in the sauce to maximize usage. Good list of Georgian wines. Full bar plus some beers including a Georgian one. Service brought out the dishes in a well paced manner. They were very patient as we lounged in their backyard. It was a very comfortable outdoor dining set up. There is one, spacious single occupancy restroom.

Being in my 30s, I need to be prepared for a day/night like that. We went here because my friend's husband is from Chicago. If I am going to be honest, not sure if I did not get the right food or do not know Chicago all that well, but felt like another bar in my opinion. However, regardless of the busy crowd and us being seating outside in the back due to a baby, our server, Steven (I think that was his name. Sorry if it is not), was great. Very attentive! I see on the yelp page they have Chicago dogs? How the heck did I miss this?! If I am ever back in BK, will have to check this out because I have been dying for a Chicago dog since I had my first one from Portillo's.

I really like their beer, but not so much the taternacho or totchos, I don't remember the name exacly. It's basically tater tots with all the ingredients of the nacho appetizer they have (i.e., sour cream, bean, jalapenos, cheese). I thought it was a great idea and would taste great, but the tots they served us was under cooked and it was still cold inside. However, the chicken wings was a different story, it was good. I would order it again when I come back. Windy City Ale House is definitely a great addition in Bay Ridge. I can't really think of another Ale House in Bay Ridge on top of my head, but if I ever want to grab a beer and watch the game, you'll find me here. P.S I am always grateful and appreciate of friendly service and you will find it here. The waitress we got was very attentive and came by our table from time to time to see if we needed anything. However, there was a guy wearing a Windy City Ale House shirt who opened the door of the restaurant and started smoking. First of all, it's cold and second nobody wants to smell your smoke. Hopefully that was just one time.
