The interior itself is small, but there's also a large patio outside which is perfect for a summer evening. I've never had Georgian food before, but after trying Ubani, I'm a fan. Everything on the menu sounded good but Chashushuli and lamb Mtsvadi. Both dishes were large servings and had so much flavor. You can't go wrong with ordering either.

I've heard of Georgia(s) - both the country and state. But I was more curious about the country and, of course, the food ever since this spot opened. Finally came and tried it. Food: I got the Meat Blintzes - crepe filles w/ground meat/rice/Georgian spices (looked like a flattened burrito) & white sauce (lasted like razzle dazzle sour cream Drinks: Ubani - Gin, Earl Grey Tea, Cointreau, Raspberry lime & sugar. Everything was pretty good (specially the drank), but I think I'll ask them to guide me through the menu because I picked something that I thought was safe - the folks in front of me order some stuff that looked interestingly good. Love how the place looks. Very calm & chill. They even have a back patio Until next time

This is comfort food at it's finest. Tucked away in a cute little space, this was my first time eating Georgian food. Completely ignorant to what the menu items were, our server did an excellent job explaining the different items and she provided excellent recommendations. Everything was incredible-the Georgian salad, the adjaruli khachpuri and the gigantic soup dumplings-khinkali. The most interesting dish would be the adjaruli/an amazing homemade bread boat filled with cheeses and topped with an egg. Swirl the interior and tear off the bowl to eat. Coming from Wisconsin, I loved it. Such a cozy place with incredible dishes. I highly recommend.

Excellent authentic Georgian food. Khinkali were flavorful, brothy, yummy. The khachapuri with beans and cheese was delicious. The chanakhi was perfectly cooked, outstanding flavors and the freshly baked bread it comes with is doughy and fluffy. The appetizer of cheese, yogurt, and corncakes was very interesting and unique. Great food and would definitely return.

I came here on a Tuesday night and there were two other parties here. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, especially with the Christmas decorations still up. The service was very lax, but it didn't bother us as we'd rather not have staff hovering over us and feeling the rush to get out. One of our cups had a lipstick print still on it, but they were quick to replace it. We were given ample time to choose our dishes. We chose to order the pkhali trio with corn bread, the adjaruli khachapuri with sulguni cheese, the beef and pork khinkali, the meat platter, honey cake and a pitcher of compot. Of the pkhali trio, we enjoyed the leek and green beans one the most, then the spinach and beet last. They were all tasteful, but the leek was the one we enjoyed most. The cornbread, we weren't a fan of, but that's because we like regular cornbread. The Khachapuri was really delicious, especially with the added sulguni cheese. The saltiness of the cheese took it up a level. The khinkali was also slightly bigger than other places I've been to and had the right flavors. They also teach you how to eat it if you've never had it before. The meat platter looked better than it tasted. Sadly the meats were quite tough and hard to chew through. The honey cake was a good ending and split amongst four. It was both moist and dry at the same time. The cake dry while paired with the cream, it felt more balanced. The compot, I'd say to try it and if you add some water to it, it's actually quite enjoyable too. Will definitely come back again.

The food was excellent! Having never eaten Georgian food, the wait staff pointed us to the 'must try' items on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Beautiful atmosphere! Would definitely come back again!

Great food and amazing service. I liked the outdoor space in the back. But the main hall is also nice.

Boca Del Cielo - Bay Ridge Brunch Gem…read more I stopped by Boca de Cielo in the Bay Ridge area for brunch with the kids, and it turned out to be such a cozy and welcoming spot. You order your food at the front counter, and while we waited, the owner surprised us with a complimentary almond croissant since it was our first visit. It was absolutely delicious -- flaky, fresh, and easily one of the best almond croissants I've ever had. The menu has a great variety of options. We went with the steak and eggs and buttermilk street pancakes. The steak was tender and full of flavor, the home fries were seasoned perfectly, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. We also tried the Tropical Bliss Juice, a refreshing blend of pineapple, mango, and orange that's freshly pressed to order. From the warm decor to the amazing food and friendly service, everything about this place was fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try more items on their menu!

Today, I deviated from my norm and got the beet boost (the ginger shined through - which I loved); I got the steak wrap w/o tomatoes - definitely good. This came w/a salad (but your cheapy iceberg lettuce ;) and balsamic drizzle - all in all, a delicious meal. The seating has definitely changed the quality of the food and dranks are still fire

I had no intention of staying--my plan was simply to walk her in and leave--but she insisted I try one of their cookies and sit for a moment. Unfortunately, that brief visit was more than enough to confirm that this is a place I would not willingly return to. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Instead of a basic greeting or even neutral acknowledgment, the woman behind the counter looked me up and down with a visible scowl, as though my presence was somehow offensive. First impressions matter in hospitality, and this one could not have been worse. A coffee shop should feel warm and inviting; this one felt the opposite. The environment itself did little to redeem the experience. The overall vibe was dull and unappealing, lacking the comfort and energy that usually make neighborhood cafés enjoyable places to spend time. Rather than feeling like a community space, it felt tense and awkward. Service and atmosphere are the bare minimum for any café. When both are lacking, it raises serious questions about how the business expects to retain customers. Based on this visit alone, Brooklyn Brew Cafe left the impression of a place that has forgotten the most basic principle of hospitality: treat people like they are welcome. Needless to say, I would not recommend this café to anyone looking for a pleasant place to grab coffee or spend time.
