Just left, gel full set manicure... I was made to bleed and when I asked about getting the hang nails he very aggressively caused he told me they would just "fall off". When I mentioned usually that doesn't happen he told me I need to use vasoline because I have dry skin... Pedicure was amazing and well worth the $57. I went in with my mon to get 2 pedicures and one set of acrylics last week and I had such a poor experience here. The lady that did my pedicure was an elderly lady, I told her more than 5 times to help take the ingrown nails from my toes and she just kept saying ok and wouldn't do it. Mindy had to take over and remove the ingrown nails. The male guy started to do my set of acrylic nails while I was getting my pedicure and he did such a HORRIBLE job. He put the acrylic so thick and super wide! Like he was in a rush! Then Mindy took over and I told her they were too wide and squared and as much as I told her to fix them she didn't. I had 3 cricket nails and they all were so wide, thick and lump! The lady that did my moms nails cut her small toe and it's been 7 days and she has a black spot On that cut and it still hurts her. If you pay close attention this place does NOT sanitize their tools! Be really careful here. Have them sanitize in front of you or take your own nail tools. I will be placing a complaint with the California Board and definitely never going back. read more

I really enjoy coming here to pamper and treat myself at least once a month. Their spa pedicures are very relaxing and acrylics or mani services are also excellent. Nails last over 3 weeks and I always get compliments on them. The price is very reasonable too. I don't mind that it's in La Habra because the place is well kept and neat (so I've heard some people prefer salons in Fullerton and Brea). I've tried many other places in OC and have never gotten quality and affordable nail services like I have received here. I think that the only downfall is the long wait times if you arrive after 5pm on Fridays because it's when they're the bussiest. I usually come on Wed. or Thurs. and have no issues. This is my second time coming & I have to say, they are really polite, maybe one of the best costumer service I've gotten from the nail salons in La Habra. They were really busy Sunday afternoon when I went, but even then they still got me to sit down right away. I wanted coffin set. The lady who did mine was very nice, she heard me coughing & got me a water bottle & asked if I was ok. She made sure the shape & length were exactly the same, despite how many more people were waiting to her their nails done she still took her time. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars was because I don't like when someone is working on my nails they stop & help some one else with their nails. I decided to give this place a try because they're right around my house, but I was very disappointed. I left this place very frustrated because after stating 3 times I wanted a regular pedicure and NOT gel, she still went ahead and did a gel pedicure. When I told her that's not what I wanted, her response was "This one looks better" not even acknowledging that she completely ignored what I, the customer wanted. I've came here several times to get my lip and chin waxed and the lady (can't remember her name) always did a great job. I told her I have sensitive skin so she applied "medicine" and there was hardly any redness! Usually my skin will be red the whole day after a wax, so this place won me over. On top of that, lip wax is only $4! BUT... I told my cousin about this place and how they did a good waxing job and it was cheap, so she went and got her legs waxed and they totally burned her legs. I went back a couple days ago to get the usual chin and lip wax, but this time I added an eyebrow wax to the mix. She did a good job on lip and chin as usual, but she put wax too far below my eyebrow (on my eyelid!!) on my right brow, and now my eyelid is scabbing (see photo). Ugh! The prices are the best I've seen ANYWHERE and the service does not suffer! $20 for a full gel set and $25 for a gel set with design! $12 for a regular manicure and $14 for a regular pedicure. Another benefit is the associates are very friendly and not pushy. If you don't want an extra service, they won't do it and actually take "no" for an answer, which is more to say then a lot of nail salons. I always get a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. They offer several levels of the spa pedicure which is a nice option to have in case you really feel like treating yourself to the "works" or just want to get a regular spa pedicure. It's unfortunate that they suffered a fire loss about three months ago at their original location in Fullerton. However, they have bounced right back. In three months time, they have started the business again at this new location in La Habra. It's on Harbor Blvd between Lambert and La Habra (right behind Taco Bell). I went to see them and was pleased to see all the familiar faces, Justin, Jennifer, Michelle and Mindy. During the last three months, I had to try out a few other nail salons. The prices were comparable but the service, the cleanness, the attentiveness and the atmosphere were not what I used to. Generations Nails Salon is still the place. At the new location, Justin and Jennifer remodeled the entire shop with brand new equipment. All eight spa chairs look really nice, comfortable and clean. As always, they greeted me nicely with a small bottle of water and began the service with a sealed sanitary bag with sterile nail salon equipment. The latter part is the most important part to me. In the past, I had seen some other nail salons that they just rinsed all the used and dirty equipment under the faucet running water (yuck)! Yesterday, Mindy took care of my manicure and wax. My nails are nicely done now and all the overgrown cuticles were perfectly trimmed down. My hand nails look impeccable and my co-worker even thought I got gel nail when I only got the regular polish. While I was there, Jennifer was busy making gel nail color sample palettes. I know she will be stocking up more OPI regular nail polish as well. I look forward to going back there again at their new location. Besides, it'll still take a few more months to get the Fullerton location all fixed up. Old customers, go there and continue to have your hands and feet pampered by them. Or at the very least, drop by and say hello. I'm sure they would appreciate that. New customers, go and give them a try. I think their prices are great. However, if they are a couple of dollars more than what you're used to pay, it's worth it. Michelle is nice, attentive and fast. The selection of colors for gel manicures is vast and they do have the good quality polishes. But she didn't do the best shaping my nails, didn't polish smoothly (ends look shaky), and didn't file the shape I wanted- even after my telling her twice. But she's very conversational and nice. I got a deluxe pedi for $27 (normally $30 which is still a great price but there was a special for 10% off). It included spa pedicure (pedi + massage chair), foot scrub massage, gel for calluses, cool masque, hot wax paraffin, and 10min leg massage. The regular pedi is only $15! They take their time so the pedi is not rushed. They are also honest when they are too full, probably because they don't want to rush their clients out. I once came during a busy time with my daughter and they suggested I return in a hour. It was perfect timing. We grabbed a bite, returned, and got our pedis. They have 3 televisions, which is nice at times, and respect if I don't want to talk. I vary in moods so sometimes I engage in conversation and sometimes i just want to sleep, check social media, or talk to a friend who is with me. First off at i had appointment on Saturday at 11:30 I got there at 11:30 and everyone was busy . They asked me to wait a little bit and I said okay ... well little did I know a little bit turned into 45 minutes . I didnt get my nails started until 12:17 and even then he was rushing to do my nails . The design I wanted came out bad and he just rushed me out the door . After today I won't be returning I asked multiple times before getting my nails done if they knew how to do the picture of the nails I wanted which was matte white and black with a yellow sunflower the assured me that they knew how to do it matte and all but got left with just paint on acrylics not even nail polish REGULAR PAINT.
