Went here on Friday, 28 February 2025. I ordered several different drinks and couldn't even taste a tequila in the house margarita, $9. I also ordered the La Fulanita drink, which was $3 more, but had the same issue as above. Plus, the drinks were small for the price you're paying. Too bad, too, because I like a good margarita with my Mexican food. I also ordered the quesadilla dip which was good and the salsa they brought to the table with chips was very yummy. I had to try their Pozole Verde, which is a green, pork soup, and that was very delicious, but for $15 it better be. I would order that again. I can't say that I would order the shrimp tacos a second time. I was hoping they would have just fish (without breading on the fish, which seems to be the only kind of fish tacos. Colorado produces ) tacos. The shrimp tacos didn't have enough cabbage, and other ingredients in them. I like authentic Mexican food and it's so hard to find. So many of these Mexican restaurants Americanize the food it to the point of grossness. I will try this place again, just because I like how spicy and favorful their food is and they do seem to make a lot of their dishes from scratch instead of opening a package, which I can do at home. The service was OK and it wasn't that busy. I thought later of ordering the queso and I couldn't get the attention of my waitress, because she never came by my table even though I could see her going to other tables. Finally, I asked the person who brought me my drink, which took a while to get, to let my waitress know about the queso. The ambience was OK. Nothing to write home about, but at least it was clean and new. I do like it when they add a little bit more of a Mexican theme, but they didn't seem to be doing that much at this restaurant. At least there seem to be enough parking space (I asked, and you could park to the right [facing the restaurant] in the parking lot, which I wasn't sure belong to them or the apartment building, but the hostess said it was fine), so I don't have to worry about that. read more

I called multiple times about something on the menu and whoever it was on the phone kept hanging up on me.

We watched Poncho and Jane come and go. Have to admit did not visit. After driving by countless times, however, we wanted to give La Huacha a try. We also had heard positive comments about it. We brought friends and were not disappointed! The ambiance is lovely, the service great, prices reasonable and the food delicious! Not your ordinary Mexican restaurant! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who couldn't have been more delightful! So fun to have a restaurant you're excited to go to instead of getting take out. read more

Now I'm no expert on Mexican food by any means. However I would like to think that I know what good flavors are. Had to stay in Denver for a month and both of us were craving Mexican food. Found this place: Salsas La Huacha. Was thrilled to see it. I mean a shack in Golden, CO. Wow. First thing's first. Do they have veggie tacos for my wife. Yes they do. Simple menu. No avocado and chips and stuff. Took a chance and grabbed a couple veggie and chorizo tacos and went home. Mama Miya. Absolutely LOVED the chorizo tacos. Wife loved her veggie ones too. Have been there several times already and tried some of the other tacos too but the chorizo stands out for me. We go there once a week and I'm not kidding; I'm like that kid who knows tonight is ice cream night. Except, it's taco night. Gonna miss their food once we head back to Chi Town. read more

Cute little street tacos. Good selection. Just not quite as flavorful as I would've expected. Salsas had good flavor but no heat. I like heat! Have to go to Denver, El Consome De Morelos, to get the juicy flavor and heat. Better than Golden Mill for sure, though. It's hard to come by good authentic Mexican tacos in Golden! That said, look no further because Salsas La Huacha is a must have. All of the meat choices are phenomenal and pack a punch of flavor! My personal favorite is the al pastor but no choice is a bad choice here. Ten out of ten would recommend to anyone searching for a good taco! Additionally, I told the owners that my girlfriend and I were learning Spanish and we got a hands on course of ordering food and small talk. I've been to this place at least a dozen times, and it is always great. I've tried most of their menu at this point, and everything is good, including their breakfast food. They also have specials sometimes. Right now, they're making churros and chipotle asada/al pastor fries, which are the best. The people working there are always friendly. The service is fast unless they're really busy. Even then, I've never had to wait too long. The only bummer about this place is that they aren't always open at their usual times, usually because of bad weather as far as I can tell. Understandable considering it's just a small trailer. read more

One of the best food trucks in town now! Great stop for some street tacos or a breakfast burrito. The salsas are on point (un rojo y un aguacate typos). I love to see more street food joints pop up. Francisco and Edna keep a simple menu which they are fantastic at executing. Personal favorites are the asada and the pastor. Would recommend to anyone, especially if you like street food. read more

Salsas La Huacha is our favorite place in the Golden area and it's not even close. The menu is simple, but for both breakfast burritos/tacos and tacos and huachadillas for dinner, omg the flavors are unbeatable. My favorite is the bacon burrito for breakfast and the veggie tacos for dinner. The pastor is also just phenomenal. Oh, and prices are fantastic and the people are the friendliest you'll encounter anywhere. Such an amazing addition to the neighborhood, and hope they continue to do well! read more

Best tacos in the Denver metro area!! Absolute must have -- once a week at the least! I stumbled upon this food truck by chance and am blown away by the flavor, quality, price, and incredible service. The owners are husband and wife and care so much about their customers. By the 2nd or 3rd time visiting, Francisco recognized me and immediately knew my order (2 al pastor, 2 chorizo) and allergies. The side of grilled onions and jalapeño add the perfect touch.
