    Pork Belly Guacamole appetizer.

One of the most simple dishes you can have, but it's one of the best I've ever had. Serafin is always on point with the service and the atmosphere. I can't recommend La Huerta enough.

Had an amazing lunch today, server was Ashley and she did a fantastic job. The restaurant was very busy and she stayed on top of our table as if we were her only guests ( thank you) We had lunch at the Rodger's Ave location.

Not from the area, but I'd be back to try other dishes. Food was delicious, draft beer was COLD, service was amazing. The ambiance was great, there was a live band and it was a good choice for dinner on a Friday.

The appetizer was good, but the service leaves something to be desired. Wanted to order tacos and another beer. Been waiting about 10 minutes for service.

John Evans Burrito- so good! Waiter provided an excellent suggestion!

I've eaten a lot of Mexican food and dined at a lot of Mexican restaurants in my years as an adult…read more So far, the best I've had in the United States was all in Southern California, Arizona or Albuquerque NM. Upon moving to Arkansas, I've been on the search for a solid authentic Mexican restaurant to dine at. Tonight, my search ended. El Mariachi is absolutely amazing! Located on the south west side of Fort Smith, you get a combination of awesome tasting food, delicious drinks, a choice of different heat level salsas, and all at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had the street taco plate, with al pastor and carnitas meats with a side of refried beans and Mexican rice - which is all made fresh daily in house. I also tend to judge a Mexican restaurant very hard on the quality of their salsa. The regular salsa is tasty, if you ask for their tomatillo salsa, it is hotter and flavorful with a hint of chipotle pepper in the background, and for those brave enough to try it, the Diablo salsa has just the right amount of heat if eaten in small amounts. I also had a top shelf margarita, which for the price point they have it at was perfectly made and enjoyed. In the end, I had to try their flan. I will state, this is probably some of, if not The best flan I've ever eaten. If you are looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in a comfortable restaurant setting, look no further and give them a try; you won't regret it!
