My family always comes to this bakery for all of our party birthday cake. We always are greeted the the employees and the smell of the yummy fresh baked bread. We usually only go for the tres leches cake with strawberries. It's so good We paid 60 dollars for a medium square cake for around 10 people. We had asked for a picture to be transferred onto the cake and it came out so good! The parking is not the best because it's so tight read more

Local pan dulce pick up never disappoints there have been other panaderias that their bread is just not enjoyable but here this bread is addicting. Always fresh, delicious, fluffy, and great with coffee. Very nice people as well, local panaderia that anyone can easily afford went in to get a bag of bread for ONLY $15! That's crazy affordable, if you go to Porto's you get 2 breads for that price but here you get a variety of bread (around 12 breads)! I really like this bakery because they have a wonderful selection of pan and tres leches cakes to choose from. They do get busy so I recommend placing an order ahead of time or going very early. Its a hit or miss here. Love coming here for the bread but during the summer there are so many flies in there I couldn't come back. Ill probably be back closer to winter when there isnt as many flies. Also cakes are good but Ive noticed at times they have cakes out for a while and you can see the fruit rotting. Their tortas are amazing!! I think its $6-$7 but soooo worth it! They have cute earrings they sell here too. Its a bit of a drive for me to come here but I prefer it over a bakery closer to home. It just broke my heart to see the flies inside the store, going on the bread, inside the bread display glass cabinet thingy. read more

We've came here for years to order cakes. This time was such a disappointment. I went in to order my daughter's cake. Left a picture of how I wanted the cake etc. only think I wanted different was instead of white we wanted the cake pink. When we went to pick up. They handed me the cake with no writing what's so ever. I questioned it. The girl had no clue., went to call over the lady that was the once I placed the order with. I told her the cake was supposed to say sweet sixteen. Then she asked me if I still had the picture because she no longer did . I luckily still had it. Then asked a man in the back to write it. Came out mediocre and ugly. To top it off we ordered a 3 leches cake. It was completely dry. Unfortunately this will be the last cake order we place at this bakery. read more

I like all types of breads. Carbs are my guilty pleasure. I have tried home baked baguettes, all types of Asian pastries, but I am not as well versed in Mexican bakeries. So I decided to give La Ideal a try. It was a little intimidating seeing all types of breads but the entire family that works there were extremely friendly and made recommendations for me. I ALWAYS support small business because they are made by hand and you can taste the love and care in the product. La Ideal bakery is no different! I enjoyed all the pastries I tried. I don't even remember the names. But they also make little cake pop desserts! Very good and fresh. Price was definitely fair considering they use quality ingredients. Very disappointed after 5 years of go-to bakery service has really gone down. Cake that was ordered and paid for $45 and they were unable to Deliver what was promised, mind you previous order cake also had issues but has more to do With image so party guest were able to bypass that but a flavor. The bakery even texted me one day before to confirm strawberries filling. It truly dampened an 8 year who was eager to bite into his cake to them get a pieces of peaches. Besides the cake having little fruit in general they weren't even able to put the correct fruit requested and discussedI texted immediately for complaint and Called the next morning. NO PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE and recovery. TRULY DISAPPOINTED. Not referring anyone anymore. An update from my last review ! They have some pretty good selections for pastries and my wife and I have a new tradition where we try new pastries or bread anytime we stop by and we have both found a new favorite. I have two new favorite which are both pretty much bread and sugar they are so fluffy and I think that's what I love the most. My wife really liked the cream cheese filled pastries but I'm not a huge fan of them because I don't like cream cheese but oh well. We will be back for more. Unfortunately the cake we will not be purchasing again because it gave my wife an upset stomach and it made her sick. read more

My family has been coming to this bakery for over a decade. We have seen it go from the small space to what it is now. We love this place and especially their Roscas. With that being said this year we got 2 hard Roscas and when we called to exchange them the lady gave us a hard time, almost like I asked for her liver. We will continue to support this place because I don't believe in crucifying someone for a single mistake but I really hope they work on their customer service. read more

Well we'll the cake I order was a mil hojas and scale 1-10 give it and my family a 3.5 it was so thin to sweet a lot more of the whip or may have been the cream but bread wise was not there. Very little fruit filling inside.. we also had a picture in front of the cake and it was a very small size pic printed on the cake was for I think 20-30 plp can't exact remember for $85 :( read more

I found this place originally by chance and the mocha tres leeches cake is delicious. The sweet bread my personal favorites is the concha and elote so fresh n soft. I recently moved to Bakersfield and I still drive back to Anaheim just for the bread. Julie is super nice and friendly she remembers me and always welcomes me when I stop by or call an order in. It's first come first serve once they're don't they're out and let me tell you... they go fast cus they're SO GOOD. vanidoso cake is my favorite. I ordered the Káiser, and it was as pretty as it was delicious. The combination of marzipan and fresh strawberries was unique, balanced, and not overly sweet. It was freshly made, beautifully presented, and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Everyone in our group enjoyed their desserts, and it was the perfect way to end a graduation celebration. The staff was friendly, the desserts came out quickly, and the quality was excellent. If you're visiting the Anaheim Packing House and looking for a delicious dessert or a sweet treat after dinner, Parfait Paris is absolutely worth stopping by. We'll definitely be back!

She didn't know. But she found out! (The answer is no.) I bought a couple pastries just bc the kid was so nice and helpful (my arm is in a sling and she even offered to help get the pastries for me.) One of the pastries was chilled in the fridge and felt really light, a bad sign that it's going to be dry. I bought it anyway. Panaderias are usually super cheap and I was surprised that my two pastries totaled $5. Yes I know $5 is nothing in most bakeries but there is a Northgate Market right next door and they have pan dulces for way under $1 each. IDK how this place stays in business. Prospects aren't good for finding what you want in this small bakery and it's too expensive for the quality but the service is really helpful so I'm giving it three stars. I called the Orange location to place an order, but they informed me that custom orders needed to be placed through the Garden Grove location and provided me with their contact information. When I called Garden Grove, I requested 24 funfetti-flavored cupcakes decorated with a rainbow theme. I wasn't particular about the exact design but specified that they should include rainbows or have colorful decorations. The person taking my order assured me that I would receive a call the following weekend to confirm the design. That call never came, but I assumed "rainbow" was a clear enough instruction. The week before my scheduled pickup, I called to confirm my order and requested to add six more cupcakes. I specifically asked, "These will be rainbow, right?" and was told yes. On the pickup day, my husband retrieved the cupcakes, but the six additional ones I had ordered the previous week were missing. Staff had to quickly add them that morning, and while understandable, they ended up being vanilla instead of funfetti. However, none of the cupcakes--neither the original 24 nor the additional six--had any rainbow decorations or color at all. Additionally, the boxes provided for the cupcakes have a perforated middle designed to keep them in place, but it was flimsy and sagged in the box, causing nearly all of the cupcakes to fall over during transport to the party. While the cupcakes themselves tasted good, I was disappointed by the order confusion, lack of decoration, and the fact that they arrived smashed. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.
