Cute little Mexican spot tucked into a corner with plenty of parking. Inside was nice, clean and menu has soooo many options to choose from. I was craving a breakfast burrito so I ordered a chorizo burrito and added potatoes. My burrito was huge and the tortilla was cooked perfectly. The chorizo portion was generous, just wished you can taste the flavor more. Definitely could've used a bit more salt or seasoning. Green salsa was okay and not very spicy. Service was nice and suggested some good burritos ! Prices are great and love supporting local spots. Just an FYI, no restrooms if you dine in and they do charge a 80 cent card fee, which has never bothered me. I had a good breakfast burrito from this Mexican Eatery. It was smaller than most but the flavor and texture was there. The burrito came with bacon, beans, and eggs, and yes, oddly enough it did not come with cheese, like most do. I would have preferred the burrito to come with cheese, but the quantity and quality of the bacon made up for it. It was very good and flavorful. The eggs could have been better scrambled but they were seasoned well. The flour tortillas were very good and offered that good buttery texture. The beans were good. The red hot sauce in the plastic bottle was good and mild in heat. The hospitality was friendly enough. It was order, pay, wait, and eat. There was not much conversation. So I've been here several times. I honestly like the food and service here. Solid food and always great service. I can't give them 3 stars because they're better than that. But giving them 4 stars is above their league. I'm giving them 3.7 and rounding up to 4 stars because I really like this spot. I ordered the #14 which includes 3 rolled tacos and a carne asada burrito. Both items were standard. Good flavor and the rolled tacos were crunchy and fresh. The burrito is smaller than your usual SD burrito, but still delicious . The red and green salsas were awesome. Nice kick and flavor to the salsas. This is a local taco shop that frequently because it's close to home. We usually order the chile verde. Today I noticed it was very salty. I tried a few pieces and let someone else try it as well. We both agreed that it was very salty. We also ordered a chile verde burrito. Had sliced off a bit and it too was very salty. I called the shop to let them know that it was very salty and the cashier offered a refund. I drove back with the food and the cashier immediately refunded my money. As I was leaving he yells out you can't return it half eaten. I turned around and told him it wasn't much more than what I returned. The rice, beans and tortillas were still full. As I was explaining the cashier and the chef were over talking me. Sonia offered their money back and I was going to find a homeless person to offer the food to. The cashier said no just keep your money but next time you can't return food that's been half eaten. I told him there won't be a next time and left. That's a good way to lose customers. Needless to say I won't return. The food quality has gone downhill. The prices still go up. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Don't pay for salty food and argumentative employees. read more

I have been a customer for years. I honestly have never had a complaint about their dishes. As much as I hate to post this I feel it's necessary to let them know that their quality of meals is falling quickly. I specifically asked for no hominy. Hominy does not belong in Menudo. Hominy belongs in Pozole. I can only speculate that the beef product is cooked in one pot and then separated to sell 2 options of red soup or plain. My choice was red Menudo yet the beef product was white making me suspicious that the beef product and red soup were cooked separately negatively affecting the taste of the Menudo. What really got to me was the amount of hominy versus beef product. Honestly never expected to see this from a business I have visited for over 10 years. Pandemic or no pandemic don't compromise your quality and reputation over profit, that's how you will loose more customers than by pandemic restrictions. read more
