Oh my goodness what a FABULOUS restaurant with a wonderful owner and incredible food! I was staying nearby for work, and stopped here prior to checking into the hotel, for carryout. When I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and a large menu to peruse. He helped me with what best to order based on what I liked, and even decreased the size of a few items to ensure I wasn't overwhelmed with food (even though I still was!). I left with enough food for 5 and probably ate for 2.5. I was sad to leave leftovers because everything was phenomenal! I had a variety of proteins, the garlic sauce was fantastic, hummus was light and homemade and the bread was airy and difficult to stop eating. Can't recommend this restaurant enough - I'd love to dine in if I ever got the chance, as the restaurant itself was adorable and large! read more

Ordered here recently and was unimpressed. I ordered online, gave them 20 minutes, and when I got there, they couldn't find my order. Turns out they didn't start it even though the place was dead. The guy working the counter seemed annoyed I ordered online. Onto the food. The order seemed to be rushed and by the time I got home, the chicken was cold. I live 5 minutes away. 4/11/2025 we stopped in for lunch. Sam, the owner of 35 yrs greeted us and took our order. The place is very clean, plenty of tables and the atmosphere is welcoming, nice decor too. The salad and bread w/humus and garlic spread were outstanding! Our lunch was prepared well although we like our chicken cooked more on the well done side and perhaps we should have requested that. I got the la kabob plater. The meat was chewy, chicken shawarma was good and the meat shawarma but the shish tawook was a bit raw on the inside. The grape leaves were stale and salty fell apart right away. The kafta was really good and the fries aswell. The salad tasted old and they forgot to get us our hummus. They have excellent hummus, with good flavor and texture. Incredible falafel, crispy and delicious, served with good tahini sauce. The salad was a downer... came with lots of super oily and burnt fried bread bits, the dressing was overly oily and overly salty. The underlying veggies were ok, but hard to enjoy. We have become regulars for the hummus and falafel, may try the meats sometime. Avoid the salad. They make their own fresh pita, which is a bit overbaked, and weirdly tastes of cinnamon. Went here for a last minute dinner tonight and it was delicious!! The garlic and hummus were served with fresh, fluffy, warm bread -- overall the starters really hit the spot. Right away, I noticed how attentive and friendly the staff was. Also, very patient, especially considering I can be very indecisive haha. My sister and I got the lamb shawarma sandwich. I got the lentil soup and my sister got the chicken lemon rice soup. My mom got the shish kebab dinner and really seemed to enjoy it. We all agreed my lentil soup was the best between the soup sides. Upon arrival I was excited I've eaten at many la kabob restaurants so I'm familiar with the food. The food was good. The place was a little dark but I would eat there with no problem. This is unfortunate because i was looking forward to trying this place. When i went in to pick up my food at 1:30 there was not a soul in there. I got hummus with meat and mushrooms a lemonaid with mint and baklava. The meat was dry and filled with little chucks that were just fat. It was just dried out shwarma meat not a mushroom in it. A very small amount of hummus barried under the beef jerky shwarma meat. Rice was ok the yellow saffron kind. The lemonaid was terrible i think they have a juicer and must put the whole lemon in peel and all which makes an umpleasant flavor. The mint in in should have been fresh mint leaves instead it was a whole bunch of dried up mint seasoning that did not offer any mint flavor just dried leaf floatys in my drink. Got a carry out today... it was the nearest Lebanese food place to my house, so I decided to try it out ...I called the order in and the man on the phone sounded very nice....but when I got there, I stood there by the front (where you would pay ) while the people in the back argued in another language for awhile...( mind you, there was only one table of two guys dining in) Finally a man who didn't really speak English approached me and asked me what I wanted and I said I had a "carry out" ...the older gentleman in the back, then proceeded to say her total is "like 49.95"... then I was given my food with no itemized receipt ...The food was "ok" ... Ran across Lake LaKabob while in town staying across the street. Booth was comfortable and the waiter was helpful in what the restaurant was best at cooking. Decided on the lamb plate which came with a salad. Dressing on the salad was very tasty. The warm bread was perfect compliment to the lamb. Only wish was that the lamb chop was a little thicker. I used to love ordering food from here. It was all I craved when I was pregnant and the food was great. Our last couple orders have been ridiculously spicy for no reason. I gave my daughter a piece of my Shish Tawook sandwich and she cried right away; she couldn't eat it. They added spices to our food. When I called to let the owner know we didn't order our food spicy, he said we're the only ones who complained. Therefore, you know, it's our problem. We have used the Restaurant.com vouchers when we ordered previously. This is one of the owners that offers them, yet hates accepting them. He has overcharged us before and we've let it slide, because the food was still good and the amount wasn't significant enough to say anything. For example, he would round to the next dollar for every item. Now he's tampering with our food to make it inedible to our family and potentially harmful to my children. If you don't want people to use the vouchers, DON'T OFFER/ACCEPT THEM. This is a business owner who has no business sense. Terrible customer service and dirty business practices to say the least. Shame on this restaurant to do that to their patrons. We will no longer order from here. read more

The bread and humus was ok until I took the olive oil bottle on the table thinking it was olive oil and poured it on the humus and it was vegetable oil. That ruined that, so next the server could not take the order since he was totally incompetent. My wife ordered grape leave rolls and they came out mushy and the when we wanted to send them back they would not take the lunch back and said after covid it is hard to get good food supplied? What the hell??? Then we could not get out of there fast enough and waited for the bill for 10-15 minute until we asked for it then they told us to just go up to the register where are server blurted out a number saying that is what we owed? I was like I need to see a bill then he disappeared and some one else reappeared with our 3 items scribbled on a piece of paper. I was like wow! Paid the bill and got the hell out of there.
