Tried PJ's for the first time today and this has to be some of the worst coffee i've ever had. Calling it coffee would even be a stretch. If you love ice cream and milkshakes, this will be right up your alley. Me and my girlfriend tried an iced Vanilla latte, with 2 less pumps of syrup, as well as a ginger bread chai. I know especially the ginger bread chai is not going to be a very traditional coffee experience, but this tastes like straight sugar water. The vanilla latte was as-well way too sugary, and had an extremely bad aftertaste. I will not be returning. read more

While taking a break from navigating the madhouse called Dallas traffic, I stopped in at PJ's for coffee. I love small and independent coffee houses. PJ's hit the spot. I ordered a latte that was just right. Having recently had lattes that had a burnt or an aftertaste, it was nice having one that I didn't mind finishing. The spot is not crowded, so I got to have a seat without people being all on top of me. The service at the counter was very welcoming, which is a definite bonus. When next I am visiting I will have to add PJ's to my list of coffeehouses to frequent. read more

The drink was disgusting apparently it is premade coffee and they add sugar cane... if I wasn't regular coffee I would've made it at home. I asked for the drink to be made again that took another 20 minutes. And the worker along with manager were just taking their sweet time like there wasn't line proceeded to charge me extra to change and remake my drink I had to wait in the front so I decided to go in and grab my coffee and it was still WRONG! Went here to work and start my morning with beignets recently. I consider myself a beignet connoisseur and saw far the ones I've had in the DFW area have been mid. But at this little coffee shop I felt transported back to New Orleans when I bit into the beignet and took a sip of their pralines and cream latte. Went to the grand opening event today and it was PACKED ! But the vibe was so energizing and I had amazing customer service from the baristas. The shop is beautiful, and I love the purple decor (my fav color!). The only reason I knocked off a star is because none of the sampled baked goods I tasted were good. Dry cranberry orange scone, dry oatmeal cookie, brownie underwhelming. But I'm willing to believe this was due to mass producing the samples for the event so I will definitely come back and give food another try.
