"the perfect latte": this was solid, it hits the spot for a sweet coffee drink and tasted a lot like melted coffee ice cream. "la la dream toast": I almost laughed because when I opened the box, I was immediately smacked with the smell of Lao Gan Ma. Then I tried a bite... look, unless a restaurant rep replies confirming that the "crunchy chili oil" is not Lao Gan Ma, then I'm confident it is. This is hilarious because it is a popular Asian condiment, and I have seen that ingredient in many a pantry (including my own) but never a restaurant (not even a Chinese restaurant). This location is the worst place of La La Land, I'm a huge fan but today the worst experience and nobody said an apology or care about the customer service. Today I decided to order online to avoid the 30 minute wait because in other occasions I had to wait. I order online at 7:41am and my pickup time was 7:55am I got there like 7:58am and I went and look for my drinks and it was not there, so I decide to give some extra time maybe my order was behind by the time been there waiting and overlook to see if my drink was ready and nothing. By this time was 8:10am and I ask for help, nobody look into my order. So I decide to come to the cashier counter I asked the girl for what was the problem with my order that supposed to be ready by 7:55am. She said she will check in the back and the order was not there I asked if she could find out if my order could be possible to be reprint or reorder . She look at me like was I was meant to said . Finally by 8:32am they reprint my order and they got my order ready. When I tasted the drink it tasted horrible not sweetened. Barely taste the vanilla flavor. They were chatting with each other and just ignored my order until I stood up and approached the counter. Then one of the women looked at the ticket, said something under her breath and then some other woman made my simple drink in about a minute. Drink was great. It's in a strip mall which does impact the vibe a little, when the outdoor seating area is adjacent to a huge strip mall parking lot, but their coffee is delicious. And I love the concept of their brand. The perfect latte is their infamous one. And my SO got it and loved it. It's not overly sweet, but just sweet enough. My americano was perfect. Great espresso with clean flavor. I love that their concept centers around being kind. Just being kind to everyone. Being the person your dog thinks you are. Whenever I am in Dallas for work, I always make it a point to get to La La's. They have a great cold brew and the La La Froth is perfectly thick and after is melds into the coffee it is the perfect ratio of cream/coffee - no additional milk needed! The locations are always so aesthetic and this one had a great front patio to sit out on and enjoy the nice weather. This place has VIBES. We got there at around 8am on a Saturday morning to get fuel for the day. While the inside had blasting AC, most people were hanging outside with their dogs on the SUPER cute patio. The inside is small and intimate with a few tables but this is not the type of place to settle down with a laptop and work. We tried the La La Latte, the Rainbow Latte, and the Buddha Latte. Service was fast, particularly for how crowded it was. The atmosphere in here at 3 on a Sunday is loud, dirty, and generally crowded. Not a great place to get work done, and no outlets by the tables, which is a cardinal sin for a coffee shop in a digital work era. They have outdoor seating, but if you're going to offer indoor seating, you need to keep your tables clean. There were also a weird number of bees on the shop windows and dead on the ground.
