This is supposed to be a Rosé

I live in the area and have been here previously. It was a great experience previously. However today we came to have a drink to say goodbye to a friend moving. I ordered a Rosé. When I came I was offered a taste. It was barely a drop. It seemed fine. Then on the second taste I realized this was burned or expired. I asked for a replacement. I got a great sparkling Rosé. At the end I was informed the old wine I didn't drink. That was a brown color, much darker than a Rosé. Was going to still be on my tab. It would have been nice to know that before I made a decision to order another drink. The server said "It is what it is".... No help for customers. This was horrible. There is a picture of what the wine color is supposed to be next to what I got at Astoria.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is great! Perfect for a romantic date, girls wine night, or just for a quick healthy bite on your way through Addison circle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love all the servers here, they are helpful, sweet, and overall a pleasure to be around. This place has become one of my favorite spots in Dallas easily.

Went here last night on a date after walking around the park so I was excited to go here finally since its right next to my apt. Our waiter was very friendly and informative. We sampled some red Cabernet and some Pinot Grigio. We ended up ordering a bottle of the Pinot Gris, which was super delicious, tart, crisp, and slightly sweet. We also ordered a cheese and meat charcuterie board. We got the smoked gouda, maple smoked cheddar, Finochiona (which is a salami with fennel), and Prosciutto. The pita bread was warm and it came with walnuts and olives on the side as well as thinly sliced green apples. Overall, we had a great time here and the ambiance was great. I would definitely be back here in the future. The dessert looked really good and our waiter said we must come back and try some, so I guess I will.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute and cozy place and the staff are friendly and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really appreciated that I could get a sugar free craft drink, my salted caramel cappuccino. Gf liked her latte too, and the tiramisu cheesecake was great.

Astoria's cafes offer some of the best coffee, perfectly brewed to start your day right. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating exudes a charming European ambiance, making it an ideal spot to relax and people-watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the breakfast bagel sandwich is decent, the real star here is the coffee and atmosphere. Service was great!!

This charming corner cafe projects a distinctly European aura, like a slice of the old world in the heart of Texas. This unique establishment is unique in that it not only offers coffee and food, but also wine and spirits. The interior is warm and welcoming, with a bar counter and small tables throughout. The display case near the cash register stares at you with muffins and cake slices. If the weather is right, outdoor seating is also available. I walked in on a weekday morning seeking some caffeine and perhaps something savory. I was promptly greeted by a friendly staff member and seated near the entrance. The menu is vast and offers an assortment of items ranging from salads, paninis, croissants, and appetizers to eggs, waffles, and oatmeal. The coffee selections are immense, from espresso and lattes to seasonal favorites and a wealth of flavored syrups from which to customize your drink. After a period of indecision, I chose a mocha and a Chicken Melt Panini. The mocha arrived first and it was delightfully flavorful, creamy, and not overly sweet. I enjoyed every sip! Next came the panini, which came with complementary potato chips and a side of vegetables. The sandwich was hot, crispy, and deliciously satisfying! The cheese and tender chicken paired well with the vegetables and chips. I can definitively say that I was impressed with this place and will be going back whenever I am in Dallas.

service was bad feel regret cuz i tipped. 2:30 june 15,2025 2 drinks cost $28+ tipped overpriced. don't mind to pay overpriced but service sucks [[HIGHLIGHT]]came there cuz of atmosphere but never come back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] DFW is big and easily to find another place.

Everything I tried was amazing! I've had the muffins, cheese plate, caprese sandwich, and more! All perfect! BUT my favorite thing is obviously their CHAI LATTE. It's the best one I've ever had and I love chai! Go get one now! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, the area is super cute and enjoyable to go walking around. Beautiful parks and sweet neighborhood benches.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Astoria has a great atmosphere and patio - we sat inside but would've been happy to be on the patio if it weren't 100°. While the entryway sign says wait to be seated, on Sunday afternoon it was wide open. The desserts looked incredible along with the great wine list, but we were just here to sit with some coffee and work. We ordered a cappuccino and the Shekarato. Both coffees were great. We also has 2 Topo Chicos. While we enjoyed our visit, this was not a place to sit with a laptop (not to mention no outlets), as our bill was $30+ pre-tip for just the 2 coffees and 2 Topos. As mentioned in other reviews, when the waiter brought the electronic bill system, the tip options were 22%, 25% and 28%. All in all, we'd likely return for wine and snacks - the food menu looks delightful - but probably not a return spot for coffee and/or working.

Decent spot... drinks are overpriced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The name is fitting - you feel like you're in NY.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The perfect place to rendezvous fora smoke after a morning run. Waiter will have trouble seeing you if seated outside on the far right. The food is alright. It is what it is.

Lovely spot for the location, menu selection, and service. Was able to enjoy a few drinks both outside for the nice view and wonderful weather, and inside where there was plenty of seating and a cozy atmosphere. Ordered a chai latte, one iced and one warm, and both were delicious! I will be trying it spiked during my next visit.

Quaint coffee and wine bar in prime location! Love the festive drinks and decor for the holiday season and always greeted by friendly staff. Both outdoor and indoor seating! Highly recommend the elderberry gimlet :) Only downside is sometimes it's hard to find parking given it's near Addison circle.

We were seated promptly, but there were no clean high chairs available, so we had to wait a few minutes while one was cleaned. That wasn't a big deal. After about 10 minutes, our server finally came over to take our drink and food order. From there, things went downhill. We waited around 30 minutes without our server checking on us once, while tables that were seated after us began receiving their food. After about 45 minutes, we decided to ask for our order to be packed to go. That's when we found out our original server had already left without handing our table off to another employee. Our order had been entered into the system but was never brought out, and no one noticed. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there were several employees standing around at the front and only a couple of other tables in the restaurant. It was surprising that no one realized we'd been sitting there without food or service for so long. I was genuinely excited to try this highly rated restaurant, but instead I ended up wasting an hour and a half. No one attempted to make things right or offered any apology beyond explaining what happened. I would also encourage the staff to be mindful of communication when interacting with customers. If a customer asks a question, it's best to answer them directly in a language they understand. Speaking among yourselves in another language during a service issue can easily create the impression that you're talking about the customer, even if that's not the intent. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this restaurant. I hope they improve their customer service because the food may be good, but the service needs significant attention

For entree I picked the copping antonio (seafood in spicy tomato sauce). It was another marvelous dish, filled with lots of fish, shrimp, mussels, clamps, mixed it a delicious sauce, that had some kick but wasn't too spicy either. The toasted best was the perfect side to sip in the sauce with the seafood. Loved it. We also got some desserts that were equally top quality. The service wonderful throughout the dinner. They assisted with pouring wine, filling up water, and constantly cleaning out the empty plates and dishes. The dishes came out in short intervals. Overall it was an exceptional dinner experience.
