Wonderful cafe in the Addison area! I had seen a few of their videos on TikTok about spreading kindness but I had no idea there was a location here in Texas. I'm glad to have stumbled upon it while out in the area and will be back again. The service was great as each person was kind, helpful, and quick. Normally, love the franchise but this location doesn't hit all the positives I've come to expect. The pros: Outside and inside are gorgeous to look at. Outside is the better ambiance. The cons: Dirty. Not much activity or cleaning going on even though there are six people standing around either talking to each other or playing on their phones. Tables we sat at hadn't experienced a wipe in a while even though the shop was not really busy. Crumbs of food on the floor. Staff not really knowledgeable or just didn't seem friendly or even courteous. Inside not a place to really sit and work or sit for very long period. Furniture completely not ergonomic and not comfortable. Tables too narrow and insufficient room under to sit properly or comfortably. Recommendation: if you're looking for coffee, order and go outside; if you're going to work, find another shop. Overall, it's meh. read more

Discovered this beautiful cafe recently. Giving off immaculate California cult vibes, it's a nicely designed place with cool branding you'd want to hang around for several hours. 5 stars because I normally don't like butterfly pea tea but with the matcha latte it somehow tastes more subtly floral - maybe the matcha helps curb the grassy flavor - and it's not overly sweet. The matcha is also really smooth and not bitter. Overall a unique and delectable drink. My new favorite. I also tried the cookie- I'm a fan of thick cookies (they're hard to find in dallas) and while not NY level this one is pretty good if you're craving something sweet. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other interesting drinks. read more

So happy that they put a La La Land Kind Cafe in Addison! I've only visited the one on Lovers which has an interesting design layout so I didn't know what to expect at this one. The cafe is small. The inside has limited seating and outside they've added more seating. The tables are small so not a space to collaborate but may be doable if you're working alone. Despite the size, it is beautiful inside. The coffee bar is a great size. It's got an open feeling to it. The lady who helped me at the counter was very nice and friendly. She helped me with any questions I had and explained the different options to me in a great way. I tried the la la latte but the rainbow one they currently have (just added fruity pebbles on top). It was delicious! Will definitely be back to have that again (with or without the fruity pebbles). I can't wait to be back and try their toasts! And other drinks! It's a great little spot to pick up some delicious coffee. Or if you can find a spot, a great place to read or catch up with somebody. I recommend checking it out! read more

After living in Dallas for 4 years and then moving away, I finally for the first time visited this cafe while visiting my sister. For someone who doesn't really drink coffee, I was delighted to see the many unique matcha options that are available. I had the iced lavender matcha which was delicious - really pretty picture before you mix, and not so pretty once you do, but still sweet and fragrant! We went around closing time and the really sweet barista gave us some free cookies from the case which was very nice! There's also a really nice sitting area outside with comfy chairs and tables for studying. Definitely recommend! read more

As soon I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the entire staff behind the bar which was amazing! It immediately brought a smile to my face! I don't know if they changed things or have new people but my lavender bloom latte was very watered down, tasted like they just threw the purple food coloring in but no lavender. The Queen avocado toast was the most disappointing, when I've gotten it in the past it's piled high freshly made and worth the money. Today it was so flat and sad, had full chunks of avocado and hardly any cream cheese, it came out unnaturally fast which makes me think maybe it was made a while ago. i love lala land but this location is just awful. i placed an order for pickup on the app. it was 3 coffees and 3 toasts. one of the lattes was sitting out for 45 minutes while the rest of my order was being made. the wait was unreal, the baristas seemed clueless, and it wasn't even busy enough to where it was understandable. if you're in a rush, don't come to this location. they truly have no regard for the time of other customers. read more

Wow, this is the BEST drip coffee I have had from a coffee shop in the dfw metroplex! I don't like very acidic or smokey notes in my coffee and LaLaLand's regular cup 'o Joe is so smooth & drinkable. I like mine with a splash of heavy whipping cream. All of their drinks look tasty, but in the mornings I just need a good cup of regular coffee with plenty of caffeine. This location must be extremely poorly managed, because it is not on brand or on par with any of the other LaLaLand locations. The employees act like they don't want to be there, and customers are definitely an inconvenience! The employees at all of the other locations are so delightful and truly kind. I have been to this location no less than 15 times, every time hoping for a better experience. My order has been wrong multiple times, and they don't seem like they care at all. The counters are not kept clean like at the other locations. The trash cans are always overflowing with garbage. The coffee and avo toasts are delicious. Went here with my wife. The employees were quite off brand. It's supposed to be a "kind" cafe, but we were treated like a chore and our lattes looked sad. They were messy and tasted like the work of a sloppy barista. Hope it's just that they were having an off day, but if so, they should work on their professionalism.
