This is my favorite coffee shop in DFW. I've been coming here for a couple years now. The ambiance is great, and there are limitless options for drinks. TONS of sugar free syrup options! The baked goods they have are great, I highly recommend the toaster pastries. They carry different cookies seasonally. The owner Chris is a gem and has a million funny stories. The staff are so friendly.

It's cute coffeeshop with vinyls if that's your vibe. It's simple coffee shop and affordable. They have plenty of flavors to meet your latte needs! The staff was absolutely lovely. They parking outside for 2 hours and maybe more in the attached garage, I am not sure.

This was quite a charming place! I came in there in hopes of finding a quiet place to get some work done and it was wonderful. The person that was working there was really helpful when it comes to drink recommendations! Don't be shy to ask them if they have a certain flavor/syrup you're looking for; literally eavesdropped on one of the orders and found out they have all of the berries in syrup form. I got the Salted Egg latte, which was custardy (just like how the barista described it). Obviously, there's the vinyls that you can check out. The overall vibe was very homey which was wonderful so that's great for students in the area to get out of their house to find a quiet place to study at.

My daughter loves vinyl like I do so I took her today to The Spin Coffee and Vinyl. OMG how awesome is it!!! They have a variety of hot and cold options for drinks, as well as a variety of baked goods. They had a cereal bar, what a cute idea! The outside is colorful and bold, the inside is cozy. There are quite a selection of vinyls to take a look at, past and new as well as CDs, and cassettes. I liked that they had a variety of games to pick from to play while you are there to play. There's a large table for games as well as cozy seating for those who want to sit and read. Cafe tables as well! I'm thinking it's the owner who is there, he was very friendly and accommodating, and went out of his way to help us. What an awesome little spot, I highly recommend stopping by!

Ok, second visit and the attraction is growing. Last time, we got the drinks to go, but stayed in this time. OMG, the presentation was insane, and I think even more delicious! I'll be going back to hang out and play games with my daughter. Oh, and they've added some local artist's prints for sale, which are super cute! Love the art, too, and so wanna own those adorable glasses! Kenn was an absolute delight! We also got an explanation regarding the empty Pink Floyd section - it apparently sells out anytime they get some (that is very valid reasoning).

Friendly staff greets you in this adorable boutique vinyl shop/coffee house. Chris makes THE BEST lavender latte (seriously, I've never had a lavender latte this good, and those are my jam)! Great food, too, in a relaxed vibe.

I've had my eye on this location and was so happy when I finally stopped by. The menu seems simple but don't let this limit your request. The owner has many syrups and the skills to prepare pretty much anything. I swear there must be a secret menu just for regulars! I ordered a peanut butter vanilla latte with oat milk, it was so good, I ordered a 2nd cup! The interior design is just as you would hope for, very musician collective/ artsy even the clientele fits the scene (very cool kids atmosphere). Music is played on a record player (of course) and they have a great selection of records available for sale along with other musician/celebrity knick-knacks. Along with pastries for sale, they have a Cereal bar available. I was super excited, I had to get a bowl and try out the majority of flavors! I would go back again!

Spin Coffee and Vinyl is one of the best coffee places in DFW. It is the epitome of amazing service, an amazing atmosphere, amazing coffee, and amazing pastries. I cannot recommend a place more than this one. Need more convincing to come here? The most amazing vinyl sounds fill the air AND there's a cereal bar. What more could one ask for?

I like the concept of having a coffee shop that also has a cereal bar and sells vinyls.

Nearing the end of a brief visit to Dallas recently--from Saturday afternoon to early Sunday…read moreafternoon--I decided to check out Josey Records in Dallas. To me, as someone who fits into the record collector/record dealer/cratedigger and DJ categories, visiting a record store I've never been to before is always an exciting or intriguing adventure. Josey has a reputation for being a good spot to buy records, so I am glad I finally went here to see what's up. Just looking around the store initially, I could see there are several areas in which the store could be improved or made more interesting. My first observation re: genre sections is that the signage for aisles could be more prominent. All of it is placed rather low, but at great record stores, you're never left guessing where everything is. You just find the music you're looking for more easily. With the massive volume of music releases in the store, I would like to see better curation of what's in stock. For example there were lots of Brian Eno releases, but not the ones I'd be interested in. For Parliament Funkadelic, there were just 2 Parliament 45s, but no Funkadelic and no George Clinton 45s. I thought that was weird. I was also looking for a famous jazz guitarist who's listed on the website, but the guy working the counter didn't even know who he was. Overall, I think the selection is decent if you are willing to spend time just looking through various sections, but there's no help on the floor--so you're just basically on your own. It kind of reminded me of shopping for records in a warehouse, but the warehouse I usually go to has much better curation. I should also state I tend to like smaller stores which get the mix of old and new releases more right or perhaps even focus on a certain niche. On a different note, in addition to music, there are lots of other cool things at Josey: a stage for performances, books, posters, tshirts and other ephemera. So, it is easy for music nerds to get lost here. Also, the parking situation is really good here, and I thought the service was good--the guys here are friendly, and one of them did go back into the aisles to look for something. Overall, I would rate this store a 4/5.

As a huge book collector, this place felt like a treasure trove. There was truly something for everyone, and the prices were fantastic. One of my favorite finds was a beautiful collection of Mark Twain stories -- such a gem. I also picked up a few books for my daughter, and we had the best time browsing together. The kids section was so sweet and welcoming. She was getting into everything (as toddlers do!), but everyone was so kind and understanding. The rest of the store has a bit more of a library feel -- lots of readers quietly flipping through pages, sitting on benches and tucked-away desks -- which I think is wonderful. I was mindful of the more relaxed, peaceful atmosphere outside the kids area, but it was really heartwarming to be in a space where people clearly love books and value time spent with them. You can tell this place is run by people who genuinely care about reading and community. I just want to see this business thrive. We'll definitely try to stop by again before heading home. I absolutely loved it here.

Fellow K-Pop collectors please read! I brought in the albums…read morepictured - six had everything and the rest had everything except the photocard - and was offered $6. I asked about the albums they sell, which often don't have photocards, and they said those were "mistake offers" or donations. I wasn't going to post a review, but after getting home and opening one of the albums I noticed they damaged the photocard. It was wedged as far into the crease of the page as possible, causing the top left corner to be bent, so I actually lost money since a damaged card lowers the value of it and the album! So, PSA to anyone looking to sell K-Pop albums: they must have photocards or they won't take them! Also, please check how they place photocards and other inclusions in your albums before you leave in case they damage something! Finally, please dm me on Instagram @gp1117.trades if you'd like to buy any albums. Photocards are included in Frequency (damaged), No Labels, Play Hard, Face The Sun (Mingyu and Vernon) and Oddinary. They're around $2-$10 plus shipping, and I also have photocards for sale and trade :)
