Went here with a decent sized group, they kinda squeezed us into a booth but we did okay. We got the guacamole which was probably the best guacamole I've ever had. They made it right in front of us and it was just absolutely fantastic and incredibly balanced. Then we got queso fundido which I had never had before and that was ALSO amazing. I wish we had some more tortillas with it but honestly I'd get that as my main dish next time. I didn't even get to take a picture before we all scarfed it down. For my 'entree' I got the philly rolls, they were okay, a bit messy to eat and I was so full of of guac that I just let everyone at the table finish them for me. First time I had too bravo I door dashed and was amazed at how delicious it was , I couldn't wait to get it again .. second time I placed an order and picked it up and finally the third time I sat and dined in and what a perfect night I picked because they had a live band , it was such a cool fun experience, I forgot I was in New York for a moment ! The salsas are individually served in mini carafes which are very cute. My Margarita was good, but weak. The glass size was large, but I felt nothing. I even mentioned it to the waitress. I ordered a second one and still absolutely nothing. I am a person that usually gets buzzed on one margarita! Hmmm... OK now for the food. We all ordered different things, mine being the combo fajitas. They were served very hot and were ok. . There was so much of this red spice on them that gave it a bitter flavor. Haven't gone here in years. Purchased a Groupon that I mistakenly thought was for this location. Ended up being for Tuckahoe. The waiter was great but he convinced parents in their 30s with 2 kids to order a pitcher of sangria. I'm not really a drinker but my SO drinks a bit. We did it because he was excited and convincing. However, we regretted it when we realized it was $40 for the pitcher. To top it off, we told the waiter that one of our kids didn't like the meat in her food. We sort of expected him to give a bit of a discount on that. He was a really nice waiter with a whole lot of openness to share. At the end of the day, it was a nice dining experience despite the bill coming out to $100 ‍‍‍ I'm unemployed and immune compromised and have been quarantined since March because I don't like to risk being out in the world. Today we decided to try a day out with outside dining. The available tables outside had no umbrellas for shade so we ate inside. The tables are separated well so that's good. I would have loved to speak to the manager about a small percentage taken off the bill but I didn't want to embarrass the poor waiter. He did nothing wrong. Not sure if I'd return. Our waitress, I believe Nicole, was the sweetest, nicest, happiest person you could ever meet. The smile was always there, and she sure knows how to make a suggestion for dinner! I saw that someone was constantly sanitizing and wiping down menus. Big Plus! The tables that were cleaned off were also sanitized.
