Love La Malinche Cafe. This is an authentic Mexican Ranchero cafe restaurant that serves good buritos, sandwiches and burgers as well as a well priced lunch. Today, I had some fish soup, steak ranchero and tea for $11.99. So definitely a great value. Located at the State Line retail center close to the horse track and Sundland Park this is local gem on the westside. Service is friendly and focused.

Decent food, good value/prices, service was friendly even though a little slow. Docking an extra star because of cleanliness (found an eyelash in my food.) Got the small menudo (only available Saturdays and Sundays). The small was more than enough. The two pieces of bread it came with were really good. However, I was adding the side of onions into my soup and noticed that there was an eyelash in there.. which was kinda gross. My husband got the bacon and egg breakfast burrito. It was surprisingly big since it was so cheap. Not too impressed with the flavor though - it was bland and a little dry.

Our waiter was the only good thing about this restaurant. The food was gross. My niece ordered a burger that was the only good thing. Her fries were under cooked. Red rice was undercooked. Never had chicken fajitas like this before. Oh the he's s we're good. The red enchiladas sauce tasted like from the can. I would avoid this place. Also way overpriced for what we got.

My local friend recommended this place if i wanted "real Mexican food" while i was in town. The huevos rancheros were absolutely fantastic and like no other I have had before. I'm used to them being in a red sauce but whatever sauce they created was amazing. The staff was super sweet and the decor was nice with cool lanterns hung around the restaurant.

    Mexican Omelette : $9.00, Coffee : $2.75

If you are regular hungry do not order the Mexican omelette plate, it's more like a child's menu size. And very bland. The omelette was 2" wide and 7" in length, yes I measured it. But they do add one half SLICE of cheese though!

One of my favorite restaurants for breakfast in El Paso. Highly recommend the picadillo and eggs.

It was…read moreperfect timing to 'cause they opened at 11:00 AM and we were just a few minutes away from being their first customers of the day! Located off one of the main streets; in a shopping complex sits Orange Cow Burgers which originally started out as a Food Truck. Now, there's approximately three locations in the surrounding areas. Menu is pretty straight forward and simple. Orders are as follows: a single, double, triple and protein cow. It's fresh ingredients, all-beef patties that are cooked to medium. The best part is they have a secret speciality sauce called moolicious! We got two single patties along with two orders of fries and a pup patty (single plain patty) for the dogs. All to go. Prices are extremely reasonable in today's market. Taste was as if you made it right at your own La Casa. Only complaint was not having "enough" of that sauce to really have it stand out beyond home cooked. That said, you can also get their "loaded fries" which includes this specific sauce as well. We opted for "extra crispy" plain fries and they were really good. Service was fair enough as far as the wait ( 2 parties a head of us) and friendly staff. Great little spot if you happen through El Paso Texas or if you're local, hit them up for your own burger experience & request extra mooliscious spread of course!

I am currently in El Paso, TX…read morehaving started in Tampa, FL and will end up in Fresno, CA. so, I have been thinking about steak & West Texas Chophouse looks very good. Indeed, they lived up to their Yelp reviews. I had a 20 oz. Bone in Ribeye (the way God intended ) cooked medium with backed potato. I won't be slapping my mother but I will call her later this evening , to sing the praises of this excellent piece of meat. Particularly the char. It is the best I have ever had. If this placed served a dish that consisted of nothing but the end pieces (where they hug the bone) I would have to consider moving here. That char was perfectly blackened & bursting with flavor. The baked potato (which was backed in an oven & NOT microwaved) was very good also. The Alex's Philly Cheesecake was not as good as the steak but it got the job done. I sat at the bar so the service was immediate but the unsweetened tea tasted like I was the second person who drank some all day. This place is large (it has 'Texas' right in the name!) & because you have to do parking lot gymnastics in the full parking lot, I expected a little wait on this hot Sunday afternoon. Happily there was no wait. It has a high barn-like roof that amplifies customers talking to a semi-comfortable background cacophony but the steak was so good I entered into my own little world. The only down side was that the steak & especially the backed potato could have been a little hotter. If I ever wander through these parts again, I will definitely return. 4-stars

The kitchen is sort of open to the restaurant, and the staff sits there and congregate in one particular server was cussing at the kitchen crew and being really loud. It's obvious that they don't prefer singles because the table next to me, a party of six got a lot of attention from the manager seeing how they were doing and I got completely ignored. I got sat next to the meat counter. And look at my food this is a pathetic display of food a tiny overcooked piece of chicken and a popper mashed potatoes no garnish. The gravy was quite bland and in a plastic cup really people you can do better. Who knows maybe I was checking the place out for a party of 50 but I wouldn't bring them here now. Don't treat me like a single invisible person.
