    Supreme bean dip and chips

It had a very cute ambience. The Service was good. We had the special black bean dip and chips. They were very good and a taco salad, which was big enough to feed two people. I also had the habanero sauce which had a very good flavor, but was a bit too hot for me. I still kept eating it. I also had a chorizo burrito, which I thought was very tasty and I would get it again. it was a bit pricey, but you got a lot of food.

    Chipotle with shrimp

I loved this restaurant. It's not just another Mexican restaurant in town. It's great! This is where Aroma, the Indian restaurant used to be. I was sad to see them close but I'm glad to see another good business opened here! Yelp and Google didn't have many reviews yet and it seems they have only been open for 4-5 months. But based on the photos I saw on Yelp, I decided to try their Chipotle dish with shrimp and it was amazing! The plate was huge. It was so flavorful, good balance of veggies and shrimp. It is pricier than the regular Mexican restaurants I'm familiar with but I can say confidently that it was worth the money! Our server was very attentive and professional. I liked the interior too, with beautiful teal color and decor with Mexican vibe. Beautiful place. I can't wait to go back.

Sad to say I only went to the original location once but I was so glad when they announced they were moving to Fletcher Place (and next to my fav bar Tappers no less). I came on a Saturday night with no reservations and was sat immediately. I got their margarita special, their beer queso, and guacamole to snack on. It was all so delicious and fresh and the beer queso is a unique flavor to other queso's I've had. I ordered a burrito ( can't remember the specific one) and it was out of this world!!!!! Amazing flavor and yummy dipping sauce. Can't wait to come back when multiple times before going to Tappers

I was checking out their new location (at what used to be Rook and then Aroma) and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived with a party of 7 and after a little shuffling of tables they were able to seat us. There seemed to be only one server for the entire place and there was another party of 10 and another of 7, plus a bunch of 2 to 4 tops. Somehow she got everyone taken care off. I ordered the Chipotle with shrimp and after being warned that this dish is rather spicy, I was advised that they would make it mild for me. I didn't mind either way. It ended up being mild, but very flavorful. What a delicious dish and actually quite a bit of it. I did run out of rice fairly quickly and was given a little extra at no charge. Thank you. The shrimp were done perfectly and the sauted onions and peppers rounded the dish out nicely. The refried beans were a lot darker than what you generally find in Mexican restaurants and also a lot better taste wise. The guac was phenomenal. Fresh and yummy. If you order the guac appetizer be aware that it will come with a ton of chips. I also enjoyed a Mexican coke, but they also serve American sodas. A word to the wise: While the street parking can be a bit tricky, there is a small no charge parking garage in the next building.

We had a great experience at La Margarita! Our waitress, Esme, was fantastic, super knowledgeable about the menu and really helpful when it came to deciding what to order. I ended up getting the taco salad, and the portion was huge (in the best way!). The chips are house-made, perfectly crisp, and the beer cheese was absolutely delicious. Parking is a little tight, there's a small lot on the side, but it was worth it once we got inside. Overall, great food, great service, and we'll definitely be back!

Love this new location. It is spacious and the people are very kind. I got the bean dip and a couple tacos and really liked them! Free street parking!

New location, new menu. Restaurant appears more upscale location. Service is good. Chips and salsa are no longer part of meal but additional nominal charge

I got the Langostino Quesadilla that I loved! It was a really big quesadilla too. We ordered agua frescas tonight, but their bar menu is huge and I definitely want to be back for margaritas on their patio. This is prime location for patio season. All our service was very professional and fast. Bonus perk there is a free parking garage attached.... Makes going out to eat downtown way less stressful!

Overall a chill environment and ith a nice front patio/ sidewalk seating area. We enjoyed the chips n salsa varieties, surprisingly the darker salsa wasn't spicier just a different flavor. Orde re d the chicken burrito which was gigantic easily enough for 2 to share. Very well made fresh ingredients, covered in sauces and cheesy. And we all tried different margaritas, mine was a strawberry fruity take on a margarita, good and garnished nicely. Rated fresh and flavorful, not very strong and a bit pricey. Especially with some being $100+ for a drink was wild. Overall nice place, nice environment, wasn't busy and tasted good but is priced higher than most Mexican restaurants in the city.

I don't think you can really go wrong with the tacos, and the flights are a great deal that let you try things in a smaller portion (4 inch in the flight instead of 6 inch for a single taco) for a lower price point. I think my favorite was the Jackpot (jackfruit carnitas with BBQ sauce). Appreciated that they had veggie options! If you're gluten free, one thing to be aware of are the taco shells - for the epic tacos, the standard is a crispy corn shell inside of a soft flour shell. I got the Crabby Patty which had a "guacamole cushion," which I learned meant there was guac between the two shells. If no cushion is mentioned, it's just the two shells. IF you or a friend ask for gluten free, it's TWO layers of crispy corn shells. Lot of crisp. Corn fritters were also tasty. Everyone I came with was happy with their meals. :)

For my meal I ordered 3 tacos- the standout was absolutely the new brussel sprout taco. I have been thinking about that taco for a full week. The other 2 tacos (carnitas and a beef) were both good, but the sprout taco was so fresh and flavorful. I would definitely return!

Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.

I'm pretty sure the owner was the one who waited on us. He was friendly and so patient while we decided what to order. I had the chicken chipotle tacos since I remembered them being so good last time but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
