Carlos did an excellent job. After trying to do it myself I reached out to a WIX expert. He contacted me within 5 minutes of the request and we set a face to face meeting for the next day. Carlos did a fantastic job on my website. I was probably not the easiest client... I am super picky and had a very specific look (in my mind) but he was extremely patient with me. He took the extra time to sit down with me and work together to get the look and feel I was envisioning. He didn't take my suggestions or change requests personally and he had great suggestions on how to make it flow and standout. I am so happy with him that I am doing a second website with him. We appreciate the opportunity to reconcile some inconsistencies raised in your reply and to further elaborate on our experiences so the public is aware of your unprofessional business practices. First, as we have discussed, you certainly did not meet a majority of the tasks we requested and you continued to promise this would change - but you never delivered on those commitments. Also, the review is written on behalf of the company you were hired and paid by. Any communication with any partner of the company constitutes a valid communication on behalf of the company. You may recall we all had a number of teleconferences regarding your failure to deliver various services - all partners agreed you were performing inadequately and relayed these feelings to you. Furthermore, there was never a formal request made to cease services under the existing contract, rather notice that we would not be renewing your services at the end of the project. More importantly, you unilaterally determined what was appropriate reimbursement for your failure to complete the work under the contract and ceased to respond to our requests to discuss the matter further. As we noted on multiple occasion, it was not simply the time not spent on social media services, but the multiple other commitments you promised time and time again, and never completed. Unfortunately, your initial handling of the matter was to be defensive and shift blame, and now your reply further demonstrates this behavior. You seem incapable of recognizing your mistakes and regrettably, we must reiterate that the main concern initially raised is still evident - your business practices are unprofessional and your word cannot be trusted. I have to be honest here. I have been thinking for a while before I posted this. Carlos started out amazing. So helpful and would do things for me like got my web site created, created a logo for me and took my calls, met with me etc. Everything you would expect of a professional relationship. He even did cards for me. I was told my rates would lock in forever and that my rate of $500 per year included SEO, any photos uploaded and verbiage changes or anything else I needed done, no extra charge. This is what the $500 was for. In time, answering my calls lessoned. It seemed I was bothering him all the time. Suddenly the SEO was no longer included and was allegedly for the first year only. All I ever had Carlos do was add some photos here and there and update my verbiage a few times. Nothing big at all. I got an email at one time saying Carlos was now going to offer payments instead of having to pay in one lump yearly to make it easier on payments. Then Carlos decided to take that away and it was not going to be an option. I let things go. I was patient and more patient. At times mistakes were made but they got fixed etc. Covid hit and I got notice in March or April in the midst of covid that my rates were moving to $700 per year! AND it was not going to include SEO. Well, I made a comment that this may be a sign to walk from my business because I could not afford $700 with no income and instead of calling me or emailing me Carlos pulled my website down and took it hostage. He had zero compassion for the pandemic and changed our agreement. I asked upon signing up if this rate was locked in. I asked all of the questions a business owner could. Once I got my web site out of jail and access again from Wix. I found out the rate he was paying and trust me, there was plenty of money for Carlos to do SEO for me which is SUPER easy. Well, turns out SEO is one of the most easy things to do and took me two seconds to figure it out. Also there were some items for Google that needed to be done and Carlos kept telling me that I had to go do things online etc. those very things just needed to be done right there via my website which took one second. All those years and all Carlos had to do for Google was click a couple of buttons. I was floored. I also had an employment form up but it was taken down and disappeared from my site with no explanation. I think Carlos pays a bulk rate to a company and so he had to take it down to give up his ownership of that form from my page since it was really my site. I was always polite and kind so I have no idea why a person was so rude to me during covid and why anyone would raise rates during that time. I wish that I knew better but I did not want to have the stress of figuring out how to run my own site. I would never pay him or anyone $500 or $700 plus annually to do this page that includes nothing. I thought we had a good working relationship so I have no clue why any of this happened. It was really disappointing. I gave two stars because he started out so nice and was so helpful in the beginning. After a while - I seemed to be a nuisance. I also was pretty ignorant. Do not pay any wen designer an annual fee unless they will be doing things for you on your page actively. read more

So on top of things and designed an absolutely beautiful site for my salon. Salon Nirvana's new site is not only beautiful but so much more functional.
