Paletas

They had many yummy options for ice cream & paletas, fruit was fresh as well. The lady that assisted us was very patient & helpful.

Delicious paletas! It's been a hot week (100+ degrees) in LA and I was waiting nearby for the Meiji Soba place and stumbled on this place because it was in the same plaza. The fresh cream and strawberry ice pop hit the spot. I'll have to come back for the mango and chamoy/mangonada because it's my usual go to. I didn't get to try the other ice cream but I really want to get the Fruity Pebbles ice cream and the ferrero rocher ice cream too. Service was really fast and the whole location was kept very cool and clean. There's no bathroom for customers and no seating. Finish those paletas fast before they melt!

This store is always nice and clean, their staff always friendly and happy to help with recommendations. I always order the mangoneada. It's so refreshing, sweet, spicy and tart at the same time. They have soooo many different ice cream flavors and paletas available. I will definitely be back!

Do not come here, shady business practices. The menu lists "Ice Cream Crepe" for $14.98, and directly underneath lists banana, Nutella, masapan, lechera, and strawberry. Then underneath that it shows "Additional toppings 99 cents: peanuts, granola, etc" This makes it appear as if the ice cream crepe includes banana, Nutella, masapan, lechera, and strawberry .. and that the additional toppings listed after "additional toppings 99 cents" would cost an additional 99 cents Well apparently ALL toppings are an additional 99 cents .. so I ended up paying $21 for a crepe with a single scoop of ice cream when the price on the menu very clearly says $14.98. I recommend anybody who is thinking about coming here to instead check out "Crème de La Crepe". Their crepes are top tier and cost $9-$10 each.

Love the mangonada ice cream here. Ambiance was nice, such a big place for ice cream, supper clean too. Service was good, they friendly and let me try everything.

My son introduced me to this place and I'm HOOKED. I love how fresh and flavorful the paletas are. We got many to try. I prefer the ones without cream/milk the best, except the avocado which is absolutely delicious. My favorites are the super tart ones such as anything with chamoy, jamaica, the tamarind I with chamoy was sooooooooooooo good. The fruit ones are so tasty because they are bursting with fresh fruit flavor. I can't wait to go back again!

This is truly great ice cream! Soft and creamy! Great flavor options. Love the paletas and love how we could have it at a party!

I enjoyed the plethora of flavors - 30 different ice cream and over 50 of the bars. The ice creams I sampled were great and there are quite a few I'll be back for. Lots of Mexican flavors and typical American style as well. Opted for the Oreo, Mexican chocolate, Fresca, and Fruit Loops. (Don't judge, I bought for two of us). The guy helping me was all sorts of helpful explaining everything they had and letting me look and ask about all the varieties. I really appreciated his patience and cheerfulness. I'll be back again!

Here the company is set up ready to serve our visitors.

This Saturday, August 5, I Costa Mesa Historical Society, had a birthday party for the 200th birthday of the Diego Sepulveda Adobe. For our birthday celebration we used La Michoacana to provide deluxe popsicles and beverages. Their service, presentation and quality of the food was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wanted something different for a celebration. Thanks to their team!

I got their seasonal strawberry pretzel salad and cinnamon snickerdoodle. This was my first time getting both of these flavors and let me tell you, they are definitely must tries. The strawberry pretzel salad tasted like strawberry cheesecake, which was right up my alley. And if you love cinnamon, you have to get the cinnamon snickerdoodle. It is the perfect amount of sweet and tastes just like a snickerdoodle cookie. I also appreciate the good amount of mix ins for both flavors.

I'm Filipino and was tickled to hear about the flavors...Ube Pandesal Toffee, Banana Turon Crunch & Mango Sticky Rice. We tried the Ube Pandesal Toffee and I'm quite amazed how they were able to capture that unique flavor. I grew up with making an "ice cream" sandwich by putting ice cream in a pandesal and tasting this just unleashed a core memory of being young and making an ice cream sandwich that way. We will definitely be back to try the other flavors! When we arrived there was a few people in line and when the line grew a bit, I think it was a manager that stopped what he was doing to jump in and help with customers which I thought was very considerate of him to do. Lastly, the location was charming and tucked away in the corner of the plaza. It had a few tables outside and in the adjacent Pop Pie shop to sit for a few minutes to enjoy the ice cream! It's nice to support a small businesses that cater to the community! Good luck to the Stella Jean family...wishing you success! I'll be back for my Turon & sticky rice!

They do have them where I'm at in Las Vegas, but I have yet to visit any of those establishments. I was super hungry and thought I want to go try that rib sandwich. Place is easy to find right off 17th Street. You really can't miss it with that big sign. And the building is definitely unique as well so you shouldn't have any problem finding it Inside you can either choose to go digital and and skip talking to a real person. I'm old school, I actually like engaging with people. So I went to the counter. I ordered the rib sandwich without looking, and was a little shocked by the total. The sandwich itself is 15 bucks, I ordered a small fry which was $4.50, and a small drink which was $4. With a 15% tip my total came out to $28. Definitely a little shell-shocked by that. Now let's talk about the sandwich. It came to the table and at first glance it looked very small. When I picked it up there was a very generous portion of rib meat inside like a big chunk of rib meat. Huge pickles and a lot of sauce. It was a great sandwich. Do not get me wrong, what I ordered again? Maybe. They don't really have a meal deal that includes fries and a drink so it's sort of all a la carte. Now let's talk about the taste. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich itself was a solid 10. That being said, I would definitely feel more comfortable paying $12 for this sandwich, as I think 15 is a little exuberant. And you don't really get that many fries for $4.50. I can't imagine what the meal deal would have been, but I'm sure people would absolutely balk at that price. I would have given it a five-star review, but that is way too much for that sandwich. As delicious as it was, I just don't feel right spending that much for a sandwich. If it could be reworked, and the price dropped down I would be all in in a heartbeat. Bottom line? If you've been wanting to try it, I say go ahead. Just be warned that you could be unpleasantly surprised unless you know what the prices are you're getting into.

We ordered three things; mint chocolate chip, rose, and milk and cereal. All with a bubble waffle cone. The service was disappointing, the guy who worked there seemed like he didn't care and it was just another job. No life to him and was just rude about asking the code for the bathroom. The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. I would give it a higher star if the service complimented it and th presentation of the rose ice cream did.
