Was pretty okay but originally came in because my friend needed to use the bathroom but they told us that it was out of order, we asked if there was another one maybe and then they said that we needed to buy something in order to use it. Afterwards some guys that didn't buy anything asked to use it and the lady gave them the code without them buying anything? I'm not sure if it's a race thing or a male centered kind of deal but it definitely threw us off. Strawberries were fine, drink just tasted like sprite but as mentioned, had planned on buying something anyway but why go out of your way to be that shady? They let us stay a bit past closing so that was cool. Chocolate Bash is a cute little dessert spot with a cozy vibe. There's a small parking lot with a few spots, so you might get lucky. Everything we tried was good, but fair warning--it's extremely sweet. Definitely one of those places where you'll want to split with someone unless you've got a serious sugar tolerance. Service-wise, the girl working was friendly and polite, but things moved pretty slow. Not sure if it was just an off day or if that's the usual pace, but it definitely tested our patience a bit. They have the viral Dubai chocolate bar here!!! Check to make sure it's in stock as I'm sure they must sell out. This place is the best! Half a block from the beach too. Finally got here to try the Dubai strawberry cup. It was just okay. The first berry I got was past its prime. The rest were good especially considering they aren't in season locally. But the dessert needed more sauce. More chocolate sauce and more pistachio. What little there was mostly stuck to the sides of the cup. I wouldn't get it again. My friend and I stopped in at around 11:23 p.m. to pick up a treat. As soon as we walked in, the employee said, "We're closing." I mentioned that the posted hours on Yelp show the shop is open until 1:00 a.m. and asked if they were closing early that day. The employee responded, "I don't know, I don't manage when we close," in a noticeably dismissive tone. I asked what time they actually close, and she said 11:40 p.m. Since it was still well before closing, I said we had enough time to order. She refused and said she had other tasks to complete, again without any apology or courtesy. The employee was not wearing a name tag and when I asked for her name, she said she could not provide it. I asked whether a manager was available; she said no. I then asked for the manager's name and was told she could not provide that either. She did offer to take my number instead, which felt unprofessional and evasive. When I simply declined and mentioned that I would be writing a review, she responded with a sarcastic "righttttt." The interaction was unexpectedly dismissive and unprofessional, especially since we arrived before the stated closing time. I hope management reviews this situation, as the customer service experience needs improvement. We were deeply disturbed by this experience and felt so uncomfortable. read more

Came in on a nice Sunday craving a shake. Arriving to the location was a breeze and nice walk from the pier. However when arriving to the spot the service person was extremely rude. This is the ultimate place for chocolate lovers! Or for anyone who just loves sweets. They have a huge selection considering it is a chocolate shop. This is different than your average Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory. They have waffles drizzled with milk chocolate and white chocolate. The mini pancakes drizzled with White chocolate are dreamy!!!!! Those are my favorite by far. It is just so good with the warm pancake and sweetness of the white chocolate. The typical chocolate covered strawberries are tasty. Very fresh strawberries and the chocolate is perfect. The cream puffs were good too. I just don't care for cream puffs. My partner loves the cream puffs and crepes. I got the Twix milkshake, and it was underwhelming, I wouldn't get that again. The fruit tarts were delish! You basically can't go wrong with this place! Due to a late night dessert craving, my friends and I drove over to Chocolate Bash. We got the mini pancake sampler plate (20 mini pancakes) and sampler plate (crepe, waffle, and mini pancakes). The two samplers were enough for the five of us. I have a 3 star only because the drinks were lacking flavor unfortunately especially the vanilla latte it just tasted like flavored burnt coffee I was pretty bummed out but I needed something to wake me up. Oreo hot chocolate had a little more flavor because of the whip, cookie crumbs and marshmallows or else it would just taste like chocolate flavored water. Everything else was pretty great!
