The stickers that tell you the flavors are matched appropriately so you know what you're looking at-- this isn't always the case at any La Mich. cuz their stickers sometimes are in the wrong place or simply illegible. You can tell they're very organized here. We went for aguas on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line. The gentleman who poured our drinks kindly asked if we wanted ice which I've never been asked before but I really appreciated having that option. Came in today for a few snacks for the family. We got some "Ruedas" without opening the bag for my toddler. As we get home and open the bag my son starts making puke noises. I grab the bag and I'm hit with the fowl odor of expired Ruedas. Not just like a a week or days, since September! I go back because I didn't want anyone else eating these expired ruedas and to complain. As I get there and ask to talk to the manager and explain my situation, told the owner my son is at home puking because of his expired chips, he laughed and said okay let me just get you some better ones. Really?! My son puking is laughable to you?! He just gave me some different ones and walked away. The girl had great customer service the first time, the only reason for the 1 star. Every time I come here, I experience amazing customer service and devour DELICIOUS treats/food/etc; I have not had one bad experience here and I'm so grateful that that's the case because I've needed an ideal ice cream shop for quite some tome now. I have always been a loyal customer to this location but recently I feel like the service has been terrible when everything with COVID-19 started. I feel like some of the workers are very rude when the boss is not there (the man). I understand that it is very hard to work during this pandemic but it is not the customers fault they are open. I called tonight to confirm what time they closed and a girl answered saying 9pm and after she also said but come before 9pm. She tried to tell me to have a good day after her rude comment and I just hung up. I have never heard a company tell a customer what time they should or shouldn't come in. The employees do not rush you to order, but offer patience and any samples you'd like. Be aware, there is often a long line for this place. They have ice cream bars, ice cream, banana splits, and everything ice cream you can imagine. My favorite is the strawberry made with milk. There are also unique flavors as well. They also have Doritos loco and all kinds of chips that have crazy toppings on them (not sure what they are called). I've moved to the area almost two years ago, and i never noticed that there was one here! I've had bad experiences at other locations especially at the Rialto one, but the people here are so lovely! I've had an older lady help me before super sweet and a younger girl i regret not getting her name but she's super cool and sweet, my fiancé is picky with food but she was giving us samples of different ice creams and even was telling us her personal favorites and recommending certain things that they offer. My favorite ice cream is Sandilla (watermelon) ... and on days when my sweet tooth is really craving then I go for the arroz con leche ice cream. I really wanted to enjoy this place and was embarrassed that I even recommend it to my siblings when we had such a horrible experience.
