    Nobody makes a better mangonada!
    Sanela S.

They make a MEAN mangonada here! Seriously, I've tried other La Michoacana's and they are not all created equal. I love that I can mix different ice cream inside the mangonada; I had pineapple and mango last time and it was the best thing ever on a triple digit day. The staff here is great and they're super friendly. The inside is spacious and clean. Some of the ice cream flavors seemed watered down, but they are always willing to let you sample flavors before you make your selection. There's A LOT of flavors to choose from, so I'm sure you will find one you love. They also have passion fruit ice cream, which is the best! I'd recommend getting the scooped ice cream instead of the bars, though, because the passion fruit bar I got last time tasted really old and a little freezer burnt.

So delicious! Ordered the elote and fruit cup and it was the perfect snack! Next time I'll definitely try their ice cream!

Excellent place to grab some Mexican based ice cream or snacks. Very creative menu and they have ice cream based on Mexican flavors like cajeta, mazapanes and ganzitos. I had a double scoop of pumpkin and cajeta and got my wife a banana split. Very good ice cream, excellent customer service, clean ice cream parlor and very well priced.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with any Michoacana I've ever visited in my life!!!!! If I wanted a glass of milk I would have poured one at the house. Did you guys decide to rob me and putn3 strawberries In here because we have to wait outside for our food and can't watch how you prepare our meals anymore ? This is just disrespect and y'all should be ashamed for selling me some cream base for dang near 7$ ?!?!?! Now I have to go buy strawberries to get my money's worth since clearly you guys don't have the common courtesy to make this cup the way you would make it for yourself had you purchased it, I'm so irritated !!!!!

Best ice cream parlor for the Latin community and/or those who like to try new extreme-wild flavors. The place is small but with a huge variety of traditional and unique flavors. Clean and friendly atmosphere. For me is all about the customer service, my kudos go to "Juan". He's a young polite employee that goes the extra mile to see a customer pleased and happy. I'm a regular here and even though everyone is professional I believe this kid is amazing because of his demeanor towards people/customers. He is the portrait of the ideal employee: respectful, professional, funny, believes in what he does, knowledgeable of his products/ menu, fast and hard working. Come say hi to Juan and get a delicious refreshment!!!!

This place is good if you know exactly what you want and don't ask any questions. I came in today because it had a good rating on yelp. The service is awful, the ice cream is mediocre at best, and don't even get me started on the establishment. The actual store itself is ugly and it reeks of bleach. Even before you walk in that bleach smell comes and punches you right in the face! I know that the bleach smell means that it's PROBABLY clean but the smell is burning my nose. I don't even want to stay in here to review this overpriced place. The ice cream all tastes kinda off and it's all overpriced! I got a couple flavors to try, and most of them taste weird. The chocolate taste like that chalky chocolate powder stuff and the strawberry cheesecake is too salty! Why is my ice cream salty enough to give me high blood pressure? The cookies and cream is ok but I've had better at stater bros. The popsicles were ok too. The last thing I got was mango ice cream and chili. This one I'm not sure if it's good or not since I'm not familiar with it, but the employee said it was their best seller. I personally wouldn't buy it again or even finish the one I bought. So last but not least, service. The service was... quite frankly... utter garbage. And the main reason why I will never come back again. When I walked in the store, there were a couple people in there but none in line so I assumed it'd be fine to look around and ask questions. The employee seemed nice enough until I asked her what was their best seller. Which was the chili ice cream. When I asked what that was she started to become less helpful but showed me a picture none the less. Since I'm not familiar with the flavor, I asked if it was spicy. She immediately was visibly upset and asked "then what do you want". My party ordered what they wanted and I just ended up getting the chili mango ice cream. Since there was more than just the mango flavor, she seemed upset that she had to tell me all of the flavors. I'd understand the attitude if I was holding up a huge line and she was the only employee working but there was no one else around except my party and there were 2 employees hiding in the back of the store talking. This place is, in my opinion, a waste of time! The only redeeming thing about this place is the popsicles, which even then wasn't amazing (They were just strawberries in vanilla ice cream). Honestly Rite Aid ice cream is better. It tastes the same if not better and it's not pretending to be anything but cheap.

They were so generous with their portions for a surprisingly low price. I ordered a banana split back then, and they doubled every single scoop! On top of that, the ice cream quality is fantastic; it holds up great and doesn't melt into a soup right away. When I heard they opened a location right here in Redlands, CA, I knew we had to go check it out. The Redlands store did not disappoint! The tropical vibes inside are super fun, and the ice cream and treats are just as incredible as I remembered. We grabbed a loaded banana split and a Dole Whip dessert. It was a very hot Saturday and some ice cream sounded good. The hours posted state they open at 11am. It was 11:30 and the doors were locked, no employees in sight. Odd, as the lights were on, and the sidewalk signs were out. At least 7 other patrons also tried to enter and all of us were frustrated. With the insulting prices they charge, it might be best to be open and serve customers. After reading a lot of negative reviews it looks like a return visit will not happen.
