THE BEST! This is…read moreone of those if you know, you know; kind of restaurants. The food is absolutely amazing. No other Mexican restaurant compares in my opinion. Even the rice and beans are better than other places lol The rice is so fluffy and soft! I've never had rice that good. The chips are better than other places lol You can tell that they make them fresh. I got the shrimp enchiladas with extra cheese. It was delicious. The shrimp enchiladas came with shrimp and pico de gallo inside. It was topped with cheese. Very good! I scarfed it down. Next time though, I will order the cheese enchiladas. Those are my favorite! The flavors are just great. The food is freshly made and great service. They get you in and out quickly. We did have to wait for about 40 minutes, ambiance was crowded. There were people lined up outside! Worth the wait!!

I got the 2 combo plate with the chile relleno and the shredded beef taco, subbed for fries, my partner got a chicken enchilada with taco. My friends got a carnitas plate, and we also ordered drinks for the table. Their margaritas are pretty strong and the michelada is good! However our server wasn't on the friendly side. Although she was quick, every-time we needed some thing after she stopped off at our table, she would already be off to do something else. At the end of the night their POS didn't work and she just came back to the table saying card declined, when other customers experienced the same thing. She could've said do you have another card or something else, but she just said card declined. I also don't like have for substitutions you have to pay extra like for green sauce. Food is good, but hopefully next time we get a better server and food doesn't take forever to come out.

My wife ordered the fajitas, and I decided to try the Diablo Shrimp. I enjoy trying new and different foods, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Let me tell you--the name is no joke! The Diablo Shrimp was incredibly spicy, truly living up to its name. If you love heat, you'll definitely enjoy it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Mi Casita to anyone looking for great Mexican food and excellent service.

Luckily, that finally changed and we caught them open! This is a true family-run business, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should. We ordered a 2-item combo with a cheese enchilada, shredded beef taco, rice, and beans, and it was amazing. We also got the chicken à la diabla, and I can honestly say I've never had an à la diabla sauce that good at a restaurant. Everything tasted homemade and so comforting that it felt like leaving a friend's house after a meal his mom made. The vibe was fun, the service was great, and we were lucky enough to have the son taking care of us, which made the experience even better. Thank you for an amazing meal and great conversation. We're looking forward to creating many more memories here. This is officially our go-to spot because, quite frankly, the food here is on another level.

Perfectly sweet and served with dulce de leche, strawberry syrup with fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream.. they all go well with the butter cake. Of course that was for dessert.. but to start for lunch, I ordered the house taco selection which comes with 4 tacos (Korean, steak, birria, and cueva tacos). I loved the cheese crusted tortilla on their tacos, and the cueva taco was my fave out of the four! The steak was dry so it was my least fave but the Korean and birria taco were also yummy! Nice way to sample their different tacos! Their guava agua Fresca was a refreshing drink to go with my tacos. My friend ordered their cheese enchiladas in their cream red sauce. She said it was different from any red sauce she has ever had but she said she enjoyed her enchiladas. Service was attentive and friendly. Each server checked in on us regularly. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and it was surprisingly not busy at all like how it used to be. Overall, the food was just like I remembered and I wish I had come back sooner. I'll def be back again to try other things on their menu!

They also had all-day Happy Hour deals on Wednesdays. Loved the decor of this restaurant, just an incredibly cool vibe with elaborate Japanese-Mexican fusion art, neon, and even a huge rainbow color-changing tree in the middle of the dining room. We had calamari, corn ribs, steak tacos, king roll, dragon roll, pork belly bowl, and everything was well-cooked and tasty. The hot sauce they give is hot, fair warning! The dishes are complex with lots of varied flavors, which is a good thing because it's not just simple and boring, but it does take time to read the menu carefully. That's probably on us, lol. We will definitely return. Gorgeous restaurant and delicious food, decently priced for what you get.

We visited on a weekday evening for dinner and found that the restaurant had largely retained the same look and layout from its days as TAPS. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple of other occupied tables during our visit. While the menu offered a variety of options, it looked limited and, more importantly, significantly overpriced. Signature rolls ranged from $24 to $26, and even a simple pork-and-rice dish was priced at $25. We ordered the Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta, the Dragon Roll, and two fish tacos. Unfortunately, this is where the experience took a disappointing turn. The Dragon Roll, despite its premium price, looked very basic, consisting mostly of rice with very little filling. The quality and presentation reminded me of sushi from a grocery store counter. The Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta was essentially chicken Alfredo with red bell peppers, served with a slice of basic buttered toast. The fish tacos were another letdown. For $16, the plate included only two small tacos with no rice, beans, or side dishes, just the tacos themselves. To make the experience even more unpleasant, there were no complimentary appetizers, such as bread or edamame, to enjoy while waiting for the meal. The food overall was underwhelming and did not justify the prices being charged. The one bright spot was the service, which was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, Geisha failed to deliver the quality or value its prices suggest. Save yourself the time and money and visit virtually any other restaurant in downtown Brea instead. You'll thank me later.
