Not 3 but 3.5 :)…read more Clydes Hot Chicken - 7/10 Pros: 2 types of fries, crinkle and waffle both amazing, waffle has more crunch. Chicken has a good amount of seasoning came out super fresh and hot, seasoning is good not too spicy & not too sweet, sauce is good, not to herby which I like, it's lighter. Bread is amazing, store bought but actually buttered and toasted!! (Some restaurants just slap some wonder-bread), I usually leave the bread out but at Clyde's never!! Customer service is amazing the cashier was super sweet. Eating area is clean. Lighting is great & soothing. Not too bright which is amazing, hospital lighting is awful. Refill station (A lot of chicken spots don't have refill stations which is crazy ) Cons: The wait time was really long (15-20 mins for a 2 tender combo) even though there were 2 other customers. They forgot our drink (we had to ask for) no biggie but It would've been nice if got the whole combo at once. Fries were amazing don't get me wrong, but I wish It had some seasoning!!! The chicken was dry :/, tiniest bit of toughness on a few bites, not much crunch on the chicken, needs more breading. There was also a roach in the bathroom which kinda shook me, the bathroom was clean & so was the eating area. Overall the only thing that was 10/10 was the bread and the waffle fries. Everything else is good or average :)

What a cool little diner! Super clean and menu is impressive (breakfast served all day!)…read more This is the kind of "mom and pop" burger place that gives you all your basics, and still served to perfection. This is definitely that place that gives you about 5 lbs. of onion rings on one order! lol I'm not complaining! Any burger place can grill a burger pretty well, but I always test a place based on their patty melt and boy oh boy it was a 10/10! Grilled onions were juicy, rye bread toasted and crispy, burger fresh and full of flavor. Simply put, wow. Come by Brea's burgers if you are close by, take a small walk down memory lane and you will be back, I know I will! You will definitely be greeted with a smile and the service is super fast and friendly.

Ordering was easy with the female cashier. I didn't have to wait long for my hamburger. Once I saw it come from the back kitchen, I walked to the front window to wait for the male staff member in the middle kitchen to put it in a paper bag. While I stood at the front window, I noticed a female worker preparing either chili cheese or sweet potato fries in the back kitchen...and her colleague likely male who was standing to her left grabbed fries from the dish she was arranging. I didn't see the colleague put the fries in his mouth because by then I had to pick up my burger and the window slot doesn't allow me to see their bodies above their shoulder but the worker definitely dug his fingers into the customer's fries while the female worker didn't stop him and she continued to drizzle white sauce onto the fries. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNHYGIENIC for a worker to take a piece from a customer's order to likely consume himself. To be fair, even though I didn't watch long enough to see him put fries in his mouth, the way he put his hands on the fries didn't look like he was putting back fries that may have fallen off the plate onto their plating area, he definitely was trying to pull fries deep in the pile to get one that was drenched in sauce. I hope the owner sees this and trains staff better. I've attached a receipt for the owner to review the footage. Receipt timestamp is an hour behind... Receipt says 5:08 but my visit was 6:08. Beaides that, burger was good and I liked the char of the patty.

I went to Popeyes hoping to relive a bit of that old-school fried chicken nostalgia (think Pioneer…read moreChicken back in the day). I ordered a 3-piece bone-in Classic with dark meat, mashed potatoes and gravy, no sauces. The good: The chicken was genuinely good. Crispy crust, solid seasoning, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were a nice, savory complement. Flavor-wise, it definitely scratches that old-school fried chicken itch more than most chains do today. The not-so-good: The portion and price didn't quite line up. I received two drumsticks and one thigh, which is fine--but at $18, it felt overpriced for what is essentially comfort food. At that price point, I expected either a bit more food or a bit more value. Overall: I enjoyed the meal and would say the food quality was there, but the pricing took away from the experience. Good fried chicken, just hard to justify the cost for what you get. If the price were more reasonable, this would be an easy repeat.

My food was good, but the young staff at the counter has the behavior of an early 2000 NPC. I walked in and politely showed her my digital receipt through my phone. She asked for my name, then check all of the existing orders and then returned with we dont have one with your name. Thats it. No looking up order number, no following up on order status. She didnt bother looking at the my digital receipt. Just repeating that we dont have your name. I dont expect a 5 stars treatment but she has a response of GTA SA NPC where she is stuck repeating 1 line. This is lack of basic customer service.

They also have a large covered outdoor patio with ceiling fans. I had the taco and enchilada combo ($14), with a carne asada taco (+$1) and a shrimp enchilada (+$3.50) with green sauce. The plate also comes with rice and pinto or black beans. You order at the register, and your food is delivered to your table. The enchilada was great, filled with perfectly grilled shrimp, and a nice layer of gooey cheese on top. There was extra cheese on the plate above and below the enchilada which made it even better. The green sauce was great and had a very mild heat. They don't skimp on the tacos here. Two flour tortillas hold a ton of flavorful carne asada and it is topped with lettuce and pico de gallo. They have a great salsa bar, and I always enjoy the salsa verde and some lime wedges with my tacos. The rice is light and fluffy, and I drench it with salsa verde. I usually don't care much for beans. The last time I had lunch here, the pinto beans were very watery and bland. This time, they were much better and I ate almost all of them. There was a lot of extra green sauce from the enchilada on the plate which helped. The woman at the ordering register was very friendly and wished me a great day. The gentleman who delivered my food and cleared my table was also very pleasant. This plate is a little on the expensive side with the premium upgrades ($23.50 after tax and tip), but it was delicious and very filling.

You ordered and then sat wherever. I liked that they have a salsa bar. A lot of places took theirs out during the pandemic and never put it back. The food was served to me. Tacos were quite nice. Not quite authentic Mexican but not American style either as it didn't have that fish taco sauce they always put on it. This was somewhere in between. I like the small menu as it only has fish tacos and burritos and shrimp and beef and chicken. They also had bowls too. I guess this would fall under fast casual but the food did take a little time to come out. It looks like they're doing everything right. No complaints here. I will be back.
