the flavors we got were Tres Leches, Ferrero Rocher, and Cookie Monster. my kid got her usual but didn't like how they made it here. the Tres Leches was too cinnamon-y and none of us were particularly impressed by it. Ferrero tasted...

were just NOT THERE. not to mention the pointless advertisement of a discount they won't actually provide. also noticed they said bye to all the other customers other than us and treated us differently the whole time we were there until the end. so if you or your kid look like a different race then don't even bother coming here. wouldn't exactly say a racist ambiance is fun so there you go. the ridiculous attitude was just the cherry on the freaking top. TL;DR: go to another location if you must.

wouldn't recommend this location! came here because we were craving La Michoacana and were closer to this location than our usual. main reason for 1 star is the customer service. they messed up when ringing us up at the register and instead of fixing their mistake, they gave us a bunch of attitude instead. you can see in the photo that they have a 25% off ice cream promo on Thursdays (we were yesterday and all 3 of us got ice cream). when we pointed out that they forgot to apply the discount, they blamed it on us saying it was our responsibility to tell the cashier earlier--um, what? WHY HAVE A PROMO IF YOU WON'T HONOR IT?! this girl was so rude and clearly needs customer service training. the flavors we got were Tres Leches, Ferrero Rocher, and Cookie Monster. my kid got her usual but didn't like how they made it here. the Tres Leches was too cinnamon-y and none of us were particularly impressed by it. Giving it 2 stars because the girl was nice. I ordered an esquite, tostiloco, 2 hot cheetos with cheese. 1. The esquites was cold. Like super cold if they pulled it out from the fridge. I couldn't even enjoy it. 2. The tostiloco was good but the veggies needed to be cut more. They were cut so half ass we wouldn't even eat it with the chip. 3. The hot Cheetos were the only thing that were good. Good amount of cheese. Ended up sending $27. Wasn't worth it. Will not be going back.

Mehhh... I love bionicos and was excited to hear that a local place just opened. I am not impressed and won't be returning. One young lady was working midday on a Saturday. She did not acknowledge, greet, or give eye contact as I walked in despite the bell ringing. Two red flags... I waited for ~20 minutes for the employee to scoop ice cream and blend smoothies for a family of 3. Red flag #3... I ordered a small bionicos. The girl gave me a cup of fruit and proceeded to ring me up. I had to ask her for the toppings. She added cream and came back to the register. Then I asked for the granola, coconut and raisins. A drink-sized cup costs more than $8, which was ridiculous! The fruit was not fresh or sweet. At all! It tasted like it had been frozen and thawed. I know this place is new, but residents deserve better if it expects to thrive. Management needs to train the staff better and have at least two working on a hot weekend day. I would also expect a Latina to know exactly what bionicos are considering that it is a Mexican fruit bowl with toppings! read more

So I went to this place and I wanted to get my usual and I see that they are open I come to the place and this rude lady says no sorry we are closed and she is lying because on the maps it says it's open and on the sign and the power is on. You can even see the snacks there and the food such as the talk is with cheese there is enough. The gelato itself was dense and very creamy. The shop offers gelato in three cup sizes: small (one scoop), medium (two scoops), and large (three scoops). All three cups look tiny, but they give you generous scoops of gelato. The service was slow as molasses. I seriously thought the employee assisting me was moving in slow motion. Service aside, I think this place is worth checking out. While their gelato isn't the best I've ever had, what they do serve is pretty damn satisfying.

Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.

Aside from the pan de sal, they also have the best lumpiang gulay (vegetable eggrolls) in town -- perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Definitely one of my absolute favorite bakeries in Carson. If you haven't tried it yet, RUN, dont walk.

My niece and I absolutely love this place! The fruit is always incredibly fresh, sweet, and delicious. My mouth was watering just looking at everything they had. The prices are great for the quality and portions you get, and the staff is always friendly. If you're looking for fresh fruit at a good price, La Michoacana is definitely worth a visit.
