I am obsessed with their ice cream. So many different flavors to choose and creamy just like I like my ice cream. My issues when coming here are the long lines, slow service and subpar customer service. You can literally be standing there in front of the server and will be ignored. No greeting, no "i'll be right with you", no nothing. You are invisible, transparent, do not exist. LOL and if you ask anything, you will get an eye roll. I don't mind it too much because obviously this person hates her job and I feel sorry for her but dang, if you're gonna work in an ice cream shop out of all places, can you at least fake it. I walked in the door and immediately in front of me to the left was an "Order Here" sign with one woman placing an order. Two staffers were working. One took her order and made eye contact with me then I started waiting my turn. I gradually noticed 2 people standing behind me to my right 10 feet away against the wall in the corner to the right as one enters the door. I figured they were waiting for their purchases or just hanging out. I continued waiting about five minutes, making eye contact with the same staffer several times while I patiently waited. Finally the second staffer was free and she approached me. I ordered a pecan paleta. She pointed to the people in the corner and said, "The line is back there." I turned around and saw about 6 people had accumulated along the opposite wall in the far corner. I looked at the staffer and said "oh!", then I left and walked out the door. This happened about 8:10pm March 23, 2022. The staffers utterly failed at basic human customer service. Either of them could have notified me where the line was the moment I walked in the door. I understand that they might not have enough employees but at least work in teamwork and communicate within each other. This place is great, but there are some serious problems. Like, problems I can't believe they haven't figured out for some reason. 1.) Where the hell are the menus?? This is the most infuriating part of entering this location. Really, I'd like to meet the imbecile who thought it would be a great idea to have 6 screens running pacman videos and facebook promotions, but only 1 screen actually showing some of the things they offer. There's no screen that shows you the ice cream flavors, the agua flavors, the available toppings, or the paleta flavors. You'd have to go up to the items themselves to see what's there, but it's frequently crowded with ordering customers, so it's really frustrating trying to figure out what you want that way. 2.) Frustrated by the above problem, I thought I might go on their website to see what ice cream flavors they have. Turns out, their website is equally as useless. No ice cream flavors, no agua flavors. They just have a menu that tells you they sell certain items, without specifying what kind (Like saying they sell ice cream, but not what kind specifically). And this is shocking, because they clearly have a well designed website, but for whatever reason the imbeciles never thought to put a real menu up. 3.) And then there's the music. Why in God's name does the music have to be so loud. I'm there to snack on ice cream, not hook up with some cuties at the club. Man, just turn the music down a bit. These three things keep me from coming here as frequently as I'd like. Which is a shame, because the ice cream is really good. Especially,, the pistachio ice cream which is top tier. Also this is one of the few places where you can get decent agua de fresa without crossing the border. If management can fix these problems, I'll change it to a 5 star because the ice cream really is delicious. But hot damn, if a boba cafe can list all 3 trillion of their milk tea flavors, I don't see why this place can't list their damn ice cream flavors. read more

The food/deserts were amazing I got the micheagua my agua choices were strawberry, limon y sandia along with the papas(chips) con valentina y limon. Very disappointed. I came once because my daughter recommended it and what we had was good. Usually the line is really long so I don't go. Today I decided to have it for my lunch if the line wasn't long. I was excited when I got there since there was one group paying and 1 ahead of me. I stood there by where you order since I was next. Not one person said they will be right over. There was 2-3 people in the back talking and joking around. I have been to this location 3 times and unfortunately I do not have anything to say about their product. I do have something to say about their service though. The line moves so slow that in all honesty I can't justify waiting in line an hour to get a scoop of ice cream or corn in a cup. There is no sense of urgency by anyone to get the line moving. In this last visit, I saw three workers. One went on to change the paper in the restroom. One was helping a customer, rang her up, then walked into back to grab her purse (?). Looked like she was on her way out and another girl came out from behind and started talking to her. All while there were 5 people ahead of me. Not once was anyone in the line acknowledged. The guy in front of me told me he had been waiting about 18 minutes at that point. That might not seem like a long time but, it shouldn't take 15-20 minutes per person. And if it does, then the back up staff should come up to lend a hand with the line. In other comments here people mention lack of menu. There are plenty of pics of things they make, but no prices and no flavors of ice creams or popsicle flavors. They do have a menu with prices for combinations but that's it. If you want to see what flavor ice cream they have, you'd need to walk down the counter to see the ice cream or paletas in the case. If this were a small mom and pop shop and you made something different every day I could understand that, but even in a mom and pop shop they would likely put their flavors on a chalk board. I hope management reads these reviews and does something to fix this. I'll try stopping in again and hopefully things will have gotten better. This stop was at 4:30. Honestly the best pelatas I've ever had in my life. I mean there just so good I wish you guys had a 12 pack deal I'd buy 12 a week. I love this place very beautiful! The only thing I had an issue with is that the ordering is a bit unorganized. I feel like there should be a section where people who are ordering ice cream palettes have it's own server and the nachos and extra stuff be done with a separate server. The line was very long, given that it was a hot day and people want ice cream to cool down. I wanted a raspado but I did not know what flavors they had until they were assisting me. I wish they had a menu of what is available for purchase and in stock. Since they had limited flavors for the raspado and no lechera I decided to get a mangonada. It was good but not worth waiting in line that long. The pieces of candy they put in there was very hard. I wanted to 9rdwr elite but they said they ran out and will get some more in a couple of minutes. That made me frustrated since I waiting so long to order.
