    S'more crepe
    Jesse M.

Found this hidden gem on Yelp under the hot and new business. Me having the biggest sweet tooth decided to give it a try. I got the s'mores crepe and let me tell you it was amazing. The warm melted chocolate inside and the crunchy graham crackers was just perfect. It was so gooey and yummy definitely recommend this if you're in the mood for something sweet. They have wide variety of crepes. The Peanut Butter and Jelly also looks good will probably be trying that one next time I go. They also have fresh smoothies and different flavors of ice cream. Glad to have this opened close by to home will he going back for sure.

Simple crepe with cajeta sauce (milk caramel) and strawberry ice cream!

Crepes have amazing taste! As always, fantastic ice creams at La Michoacana (better than any other establishments I know), but wow, the crepes here are the thing to get. If you're unsure what to get, try the simple crepe with cajeta (ka-hey-ta) sauce and add a scoop of some flavor of ice cream for $1 extra. Outstanding!

YUM!! Bought my husband's first elote here. He was thrilled, nice and warm and spicy! Coming back here and going to hit one that's near our house too!

We came here for some impulsive dessert the other night. There are a lot of places called Michoacana around these parts and they are all just a little bit different. This place certainly won't be replacing our usual ice cream spot (the Michoacana on Algonquin near Busse) but unlike there, this location has crepes. The make-your-own crepes are kind of pricey at almost $9 each, but crepes tend to be up there in price generally. My sister and I split a crepe filled with strawberries and mango. The batter was the chocolate-vanilla combo version and we topped it off with la lechera sauce and whipped cream. This was certainly enough to split and satisfied my sweet tooth. I will say that I have had way more impressive crepe batter before (this one registered a bit "stiff" and subdued in flavor) but I could be convinced to come here and split a crepe again.

I was craving for some crepes and my friend told me about this place. I've been to the other chains but they don't have crepes! So I was very excited to try this place out. I got myself la Michoacana crepe with a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Omg. It is EXTREMELY FILLING and calories overloadddd!!! But no regrets. It was delicious. The ice cream was delicious and the first 3 bites of the crepe definitely satisfied my craving. After that, it was a bit much. Can't do sweets but I'd go again when my craving hits. I would definitely recommend sharing the crepe with another person unless you can handle your sweets. I obviously can't. Couldn't finish mine. Also, as much as I loveeeed the strawberry cheesecake ice cream, I would get a scoop of water based ice cream cz I think it'll balance well with the sweet, filling crepe. Oh, they also let you try samples of different flavored ice cream. Their guava love their ice cream! Only wish that the lighting was brighter in there! It's so dark inside lol ‍

Yup this place is amazing! They make crapes and I love crapes. They a million different kinds of goodies. For example, they have all flavor paletas, smoothies, ice scream and crazy stuff too like cueritos with hot sauce. Definitely recommend!

The Michoacana Crepe (strawberry, Nutella, and banana)

I've been to a few La Michoacana locations, but this new one also offers crepes as the name suggests. My cousin discovered it while we were having dinner nearby so we loaded up a few car-fuls of kids and adults of all sizes. To me, the ice creams and paletas seem to be consistent with every other location, which is amazing both in quality and price. Beyond the crepe offer, this place stands out to me because the staff running it today were great. Serving a large group can be chaotic but they were organized and friendly and above all, patient with all of the kids and questions from the adults. When I'm in the area I'm definitely making every effort to come here!

    Illegal pricing

Terrible service & illegal pricing. We ordered a small and a regular size yogurt, the lady let us know they did not have any strawberries, despite there being a refrigerator full of strawberries ready to be washed and cut. We agreed to order without it, but were still annoyed since it was 8:45 and they close at 9. Once we paid we realized the prices displayed on their sample cups are not the price we were charged. They do not give you a receipt, and once we asked for it we realized they are charging between 20-42 more (pre tax) for what you order. (Photo attached) This is illegal and extremely dishonest. I asked to talk to the owner, since I understand this isn't the cashiers responsibility, and to my surprise, she had absolutely nothing to say. We were "refunded" our money, and were told we have to now wait 3-5 days. If you are the owner of this establishment, and read this, I urge you to do better.

I hate to be that guy but I ordered a vegetarian crepe; I prefer savory rather than sweet and this is what I got. I literally laughed and threw it away.

Sunday morning and my godmother, little cousin, and I decided to eat out for breakfast and remembered that we still haven't tried the new La Michoacana place since it's been open. John, the owner and creator of majority of the recipes on the menu was very helpful and kind knowing that it was our first time here. He walked us through the items that were popular and the ones he recommended. I had the Mexico savory crepe that had ham, cheese, pico de gallo, avocado, and chipotle sauce as well as elotes in a cup with hot cheetos. My godmother had the la michoacana crepe that had strawberries, banana, and Nutella inside. My little cousin had a regular churro. An amazing place to take the family or even a date. Such great service with great quality of food to match

    LMC crepe

A big portion size for the price and I love the balance of sweetness!! The crepe and the ice cream were delicious and did not give me a sugar crash(which I get most of the times after an ice cream). And the owners were so nice and sweet. They patiently explained the flavors. The only thing was I wished there were actual utensils instead of plastic ones. I felt bad using up so much plastic;((

Smores Crepe, churro sundae and ferrero rocher ice cream. (My favorite)

I highly recommend the tuna croissant sandwich. It was fresh, delicious, and one of my favorite items on the menu. The waffles are also very good, especially when they're served fresh and hot. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the crepes. They were a little undercooked for my taste, so the texture wasn't quite right. Other than that, the café has a pleasant atmosphere with comfortable seating, making it a nice spot to meet friends or take a break.

I ordered the Cafe Special, a type of crepe loaded with cream and adorned by various fruits and Nutella. It was fairly pricy but delicious all the same. If you like sweet, this menu offering will do the trick. For the cost, I could've used a bit more food (you only receive a single crepe with your order). The presentation of my food was appealing. However, the server placed the crepe atop a piece of tissue paper on the plate. While eating, this tissue paper was a distraction and I ended up cutting through it multiple times. Crepe Cafe isn't a standalone restaurant but rather a kiosk in the mall (just look for the scale-accurate red whales hovering from above if you're lost). While I can't expect extraordinary ambiance owing to this place's location, cleanliness should be a given. One of the tables I wanted to sit at was visibly dirty. A different high-top had a pair of gloves (without a human owner) atop it. Overall, Crepe Cafe was a nice (if unexpected) treat to find. The price could just be a little lower and the tables a little cleaner.

Unfortunately this is my daughter's favorite spot, and I can't deny that the food, drinks, and chocolates are great which are mentioned in detail in everyone else's reviews. Service is hit or miss depending on who's working but can generally expect it to be cold. However, all the people who work there work extremely hard in a tight space to take orders and cook. Perhaps they aren't trying to be rude but are just busy. I do want to recommend the tomato and basil soup. It's so good and comes with a delicious cheese toast. My friend got an omelette, which she enjoyed. The service...that is the one thing that still needs improvement. I've already shared my feedback with the manager a few weeks back regarding one certain employee who is unfortunately very unfriendly and straight up rude. The manager knew exactly who I'm referring to and was supposed to "address it", however when I was there last week the girl was still there and her attitude/behavior seemed unchanged. Other girls working there are very nice and friendly though! Easy street parking! I will be back!

The kids liked the small quesadillas i think-- not greasy and nice plain flavors, easy to please the kids. My oldest really liked the tuna melt and it was good, and generous portions. Easy to split with the other kids. The ironman in comparison is so tiny and not worth the price-- which is really just paying for the "health" aspect of it. I get it.
