I can visualize a reel about this place on instagram or TikTok of how amazing it is with the lovely cute decor and the pink "aura" all around. From afar it looks cute but the closer you get, it feels gimmicky and cheap. But let's get to the star of the show, the macarons. After all, LeilaLove Macarons. Well, turns out that the macarons she loves are like the Temu version of a real macaron. It looks like a macaron but the taste and the texture is not a macaron. I tried a sample of 6 just to make sure and all 6 of them were average at best. If you stopped at a 7eleven they would have this type of macarons so the price they are charging is definitely overpriced. I would not go there again and definitely not for a macaron. I think if you truly loved macarons and you made it the title of your place you should have put more effort in making a better macaron cause this ain't it. read more

I ordered shortbread cookies. What came was not like any shortbread I have ever had. They were horrible. Stale and tasteless, yet also with a weird taste if that is possible. LeilaLove would not stand behind the product. The "good by" date was more than 8 weeks after purchase but I was told I complained too late. Purchase at your own risk. read more

Fantastic and unique little place! Everything is made in house, they have tons of flavors, and all different treats besides macarons. They wrap even the small items so beautifully, ready to give as a gift even. Staff was very kind. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

What an ultra disappointing experience. I placed a huge Easter order from this business via Amazon. I saw one of my Yelp friends has placed a past order and was a huge hit with her family. I thought this would be fun to share with my loved ones. I was wrong! Please see my photos of what I received. Leila strung me along for like a week. She thought I was a sucker MC, and she could do that. No, you really can't. She talked about needing to make a "fresh batch" forever. She PRINTED a shipping label and still kept trying to front that she was doing something. I was VERY understanding about receiving literal damaged goods, which were pulverized. She was a sneaky liar and really misperceived my kindness as weakness. A week later, this order I placed on APRIL 7TH, today is the 20th, she has done NOTHING. I want a refund, that's when she started lying about shipping me something. I'm not sure why she scammed me like this, but it happened and I wanted to put the word out about what she did to me with my online order. read more

First time in, I've driven past so many times bc the outside decor is so adorable , how can you not stop in ? the inside is just as cute too. They had a great selection of macarons and other desserts . I purchased the container of shortbread chocolate chip cookies and some macarons. Each macaron is in its own ziplock bag, which I'm not sure why. Maybe keep them fresh but never seen that before . Got them home and tried them out . SO fresh and delicious, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle , the way a macaron should be only thing is I forgot what flavor was what but as soon as I taste them , I knew right away what flavor it was. Leilalove macarons are a hit with my Children especially my twin girls! Super cute packing with a sweet note from the owners. (Very nice touch) Also love that they pack each one individually so they don't mess up in transit. If I'm being honest Macarons aren't my cup of tea. They are too sweet for my taste buds, but I have to say these are pretty darn tasty! I had half of a coconut one and it's texture had a perfect crunch on the outside shell and soft on the inside with a generous filling. The twins gave the boys one, dad one, and then they ate all the rest :) lol So they are definitely going to be asking for more...So we will be purchasing some more in the near near future. They are unique and a bright little French inspired spot almost hiding. They have a lot of unique flavors along with the classics. They are soft and not too sweet, although the filling is not even with the cookie. Some of the filling overpowers the cookie flavors, but has nice flavor. Also, not all the macarons seemed fresh, some were chewy with a hard filling. read more

This is such a hidden gem! My 3 kids and I walked to LeilaLove today and went inside. It was such a charming, colorful, delicious place. The macaroons, among other treats, were vibrant and created with such love! BEST MACARONS EVER!! Ugh where do I start. This place is seriously the cutest patisserie to ever exist. Pink everywhere which I appreciate and love. So much detail involved in both the exterior and interior design. You can tell Leila really puts her all into this adorable shop. Even just standing outside I couldn't help but smile under my mask. I ordered a box of 8 macaroons for $20. A lot of flavors are available!! I decided on the Belgium milk chocolate, red velvet, pistachio, coconut, creamy strawberry, salted almond, blueberry cream, and honey marshmallow. I loved each and every one of them. Honestly, it is SO hard to pick a favorite but if I had to pick it would be the creamy strawberry. Each macaron is individually wrapped. Good idea to prevent flavors from mixing in the box. ALL macaroons were consistent in their shape, size, filling, and texture. The color of the shells were uniform and beautiful to the eye. Filling to shell ratio was perfect. Macarons had a crispy eggshell like top with a fluffy/chewy inside. Texture was on point. Cant wait to come again and try other flavors !!! read more

My bf and I stopped here by chance on the way from Arlington Heights to Shedd Aquarium. The cute pink storefront was what initially caught my eye. Let me just say that I'm super glad we stopped! We love macarons and these were probably some of the best I've ever had. They were soft but slightly crunchy and the fruit flavors were not overly sweet. The strawberries and creme is my favorite so far. We also got a pistachio macaron cake that melted a little in our car on the way home, but it was still super delicious regardless! Also, I'm not sure if it was the owner that helped us but he was so sweet and welcoming. He even gave us a chocolate marshmallow macaron on the house! These were really bad. The flavor seems artificial and the shells lacked the crispness they should have. For a place that is dedicated to macarons they do a really poor job. Oh, and you can't buy just one. I told the guy I wanted one or two; he said the smallest quantity they sell is 6. The ambiance here is a 10/10! I mean wow! So colorful, festive and pink. I love the decor which is very classic French and dainty. I walked in and was amazed by the amount of flavors. Enough to fill a sheet of paper which made it hard to choose. I went with a box of six and had peach, blueberry, lemon raspberry, birthday cake, pistachio and one more that I don't remember. The actual macarons were perfectly made and so chewy. They had the classic crunch that I craved however the filings were not up to par. Each filing was like butter and was very thick, fatty tasting and bland. The pistachio one has pistachio bits in the butter and the lemon raspberry one was pink butter but all tasted like butter. The blueberry one tasted so artificial I couldn't finish it: way too much almond extract. I'm glad I tried something new but these missed the mark. read more

PRETTY & PERFECT How did I not know this beautiful place exist?! I can't believe they've been open since May. I randomly saw the store while driving to photograph an event on saturday & you bet I have hearts on my eyes. I love going to insta worthy food places. Made my bf promised to take me there next day for a cute Sunday date, unfortunately they were close. I couldn't wait to try them out so decided to check them out with my friend on tuesday after seing their post they will be open. Not only was the decor a girlish dream...the pastries & drinks were so perfectly pretty, delicious. Definetly had that "it's too pretty to eat but so excites to take a bite" moment. This place is the cutest little shop that we found randomly during our work trip. The owner is super nice and the pastries are to die for! We got a box of macarons and once he realized we want to eat them right away, he went to the back and brought us a couple more macaroons that were room temp to give us a real experience! I also bought 2 other boxes of goodies and he didn't even charge me for one of them. The salted pistachio cookies are out of this world... They were moist, not too sweet and the man that assisted was very friendly and helpful. We got there as they were closing and he allowed my friend and i each time to still come in and order.
