They have the smallest half sheet ever. Anywhere else half sheets are bigger. Which don't make sense. A half sheet is a half sheet. I am very unhappy. They need to fix their website/app and put on there the accurate size of cake. Save Mart has a bigger half sheet, which doesn't make sense. So I had to go to save Mart and buy another cake so my son would have enough for his birthday party. I spoke to the manager when I picked up my son's cake today. She informed me that she would give the person a ride up last night for not calling me and explaining everything to me last night. I don't think I will be ordering from them again. When I explained to the manager everything. She didn't even offer to comp me. The circle ground cake is bigger than their half sheet. Which any else isn't like that. I will never order another cake from them again. I will go to a different ice cream place and pay more money and get a better cake. Because again I half sheet According to Baskin-Robbins is really really small. Which don't make sense. I compared Savemart to theirs and the restaurant I used to work at for 10 years. Baskin-Robbins has a small half sheet. The manager even told me their half sheet is smaller than anywhere else. If that's the case, you need to wet your customers know that before they buy a cake. And because they had to remake the cake. When it was time to cut the cake, it literally fell apart. The lady at the store, which was the manager insured me that everything would be fine. That it has completely set and I should not have any issues. My son's cake fell apart every time I cut with the cake knife. I had to put it back in the freezer for another four hours before we could actually eat it without it falling apart. If I would've known any of that, I would've just canceled my order until the lady to give me my money back because the cake was the worst cake I've ever ordered in history.

But on a recent Quilt shop hop, imagine my surprised to discover the Quilt store was two doors down from Stafford's. I think that was a sign that I had to go visit. The double sign was that the quilt shop gave away coupons during their event for one free piece of chocolate. So for my free piece of chocolate, I chose the red wine truffle. Oh my goodness, I had to close my eyes to savor it, the taste was that sensational! The shop itself is beautiful. It has tables inside so you can sit and enjoy their confections. All of the shelves are lined with all kinds of specialty chocolates. These include chocolate covered nuts, truffles, bars, Pops, and all kinds of delicious concoctions. You can order single pieces at the front counter for an individual choice and they will compose a box of your selections. They also had many, many packaged items ready to go on the shelves. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about their offerings. They were willing to explain the different flavors; the cost of a box of six individual truffles which you can select was $12.50. There's parking in front of the shop on the street and also behind. It's nestled in the Porterville downtown area with multiple Restaurants and eateries very close by. One could have a fun day window shopping, lunching out and then popping by Stafford's for a sweet treat and to buy gifts to take home. Absolutely not to be missed!

People working at the drive-through window are always very nice and polite and I have not had an issue with any of my orders. You do need to wait a little longer than a typical drive-through, but I never mind. As I mentioned in a previous review I do wish it was easier to get in and out of the parking lot depending on traffic it can be a little tricky because of the location of the entry/exit spots and the timing of the traffic lights. They have a wide variety of foods so if you are feeding a family or group with different wants this would give you a pretty good choice of making everyone happy.
