I had the nachos and my husband had a wet burrito. The sauces were cold and the chips were not authentic at all and also cold. Who serves cold sauces(other than sour cream) on nachos and burritos? I speak Spanish so it was nothing to due with a language barrier but the quarter machines are broken and they don't even return the money nor put up a sign saying it's broken. Not a big deal only $1 lost but still not quality service. When we asked the cashier to at least put up a sign saying it's broken she gave my father attitude and never put a sign up while we were there after saying she would. After ordering our food we found a table big enough to fit our party and asked if they could clean it and the same cashier said they would come around and clean it but they never did. Paid for mediocre food on a dirty table. I will admit the prices are good and the food is brought out to you fast. 5 stars on that. If you enjoy the natural flavors of food, then this is the place for you. This is not standard Mexican-American fare that comes pre-drenched in cheese and other gooey accouterments. It's about the actual flavor of food cooked well. The tongue is excellent, but the Pork Cheek (Buche) is excellent. It's that perfect blend of fat, meat, and salt. Ah yes, Michoacana. I'll start by saying that before, the food was not good and service was terrible. However, recently they have greatly improved the food and the service isn't as bad anymore. I usually go at night because they're the closest 24/7 open Mexican food. I find that having 24/7 service is terrific because many people crave food while everything else is closed. Inside, the place feels dated and they should really consider upgrading. The menu is clear and concise. When I ordered my food, it came pretty quick and was really good. Since I've been here I ate there twice in one week.. Amazing family setting with a few games for the kids and adults and the tv on. First time I had chicken nachos and the price was amazing for the portion ... All prices for there food. This is authentic Mexican food. The second time I got a combination plate with chicken , a steak sope and extra rice ... And it was just so good .. Every thing there is good and affordable ... Finally a place in Reno where you can get some good food to eat for a reasonable price. Atmosphere is casual, which I like. The portions are somewhat small but the food is cheap so I always get a couple things and I can eat enough. The service has been good. The food is pretty fast and the cashier was nice. I didn't like the guacamole. When I pay for chips and guacamole, I want to eat avocado. That is what I am paying for. The guacamole was not avocado. The food here is very authentic and consistently good. I've eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is roomy, so it's easy to enjoy your food without feeling like you're on top of other people. I really enjoy the food here tacos! OMG amazing, beer is of course over priced 4.00 for a coors light? But that's all right, the sauce on the wet burritos needs some more seasonings, but I went here yesterday and when I was eating my scrumptious taco, I bit into something hard, assumed it was just some burnt meat took it out of my mouth and yes in fact it was, it still startled me. But the thing that bothers me the most is the cleanliness of the place. Flies all in the windows, and when I left I had a rash on my neck like in the shape if California? WTF! they must have fleas or bed bugs, but they definitely need to shut down at least 2-3 hours to CLEAN their eating areas! read more

4th generation local, who has gotten the huge burrito supreme, since they began. The burrito is hit or miss and not as large as the past. Use to be "Full of tender steak and little rice/beans, but now it's mostly beans and rice and not well made. The real problem, is don't "EVER" try the chili rellenos. We got them to go on Sunday and when we got home, they were so overcooked, you "Literally" couldn't cut through the bottom. I've never seen this before, "Anywhere". I'm not even sure "How" this can happen. May try again in a year or so, to see if the owner wakes up. read more

It's a dive, but a dive that's always open, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. That says a lot to a night owl like myself. The food is good, not great, but cheap and filling. It's pretty close to authentic, and always has a crowd of hispanic people, which is a good sign in my eyes. read more

The food is usually great, except today. I ordered my usual 2 sopes, and a carnitas burrito. I only got one of the sopes, and the burrito had basically garbage pork. This place isn't bad. But it's very far from good. U can tell that the quality of product is cheap. Everything is bland. The staff is friendly though, but doesn't make up for quality of food. And don't expect a clean table to sit at when u arrive. It seems like they wait until there's no more clean tables for customers before they clean. U would expect better food for the prices. The best part of the restaurant though was actually leaving. And I'm pretty sure asada shouldn't look like that. Gross!
