We came on a hot day and we couldn't have picked a better place! The serving size for the Fresca was huge and it was delicious! The store had AC which felt amazing, the store manager was there and making sure all the customers were satisfied and they even took a picture of us for their social media! We're definitely planning on visiting again!
Don't know why it took us SO long to try out this gem!!!! The venue makes for a GREAT hang out with lots of light and fun color decor. The wide variety of menu items is great. I loved the filled churro and a steal for $1.99. We splurged $13.99 for the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and it was quite the yummy indulgence Definitely recommend & we plan to be back to try even more
I have seen this place all the time when visiting but never stopped by it. One day I decided to go and check it out and bring back some treats. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon and it was me and a couple of people checking out the choices. There were a few dozen different paletas to choose from along with ice cream, aqua frescas, and other unique items. I chose three paletas, water strawberry, passionfruit, and a Mangonada. I also got a large horchata. My dad and sister love their paletas and I enjoyed the Mangonada one. That one was a little overwhelming but overall it was good despite it being super spicy. Thankfully the horchata helped cool it down. I will definitely come back to try some other options.
Loved this place! My friend and I were looking for something like dessert after our wonderful meal at MexiCuban! We stumbled across this place. It's popular, especially among the kids! They have 21 flavors (ice cream and sorbets mixed!) they have cool desserts! Very unique place! We got the Churrosplit! You can choose 3 flavors of ice cream -- we settled on sorbets (guava, tamarind and mango -- the best!) guava sorbet was AMAZING!!!!!! The ladies there were friendly! It's next to other businesses and you can't really see it at first (it's upstairs). The area is pretty popular so if you can't find parking, there is street parking around the area.
This is not your typical ice cream place. The ice cream had real fruits and is very delicious. There was a lot of options and variety. The ambiance was really cute and social media worthy with tons of nice background to take photos. It's bright and clean. Service was great, all the girls working here was nice and allow you to try samples before you buy. There's a lot of parking in the back. I would totally recommend this place for a nice treat.
I visited this place for the first time. I would always drive by and would see how busy it is in the evening. Customer service was an Aplus. I had my pup with me and called in my order. They brought my mango drink (mangonada) to me and even took my credit card to process it. The mango drink was refreshing with fresh mangos. I was hoping it had more sweet mango flavor-definite can taste the spice. I love the straw with chamois and tajin. I will definitely visit again and try different Mexican desserts. Parking is free and back of the building. Lots of seating inside. None outside. Store on the second floor.

Was grateful to not have gone alone as I needed my partner to stay in line so I could browse the glass ice cream display to plan what flavors I would order. It wasn't until much later that we noticed a QR code on the windows to scan for the menu. We tried the churro split which allowed for 3 choices of ice cream. Each of the flavors were really good - although we weren't too adventurous with our choices. Would love to go back and try more. Parking lot is fairly small so expect to wait and drive around a bit on a busy day.
Decided to try this Mexican ice cream and snack shop. Service was good, the ambiance was modern - the place looked pretty clean. The highlight for me was the Mangonada. The Paletas were good, but this place is pricey for what you get. Overall a good experience, but be prepared to spend $6-7 per drink. The corn was just ok and the horchata was a little watery and overly spiced for my taste. I'd come back to try other items. Wish some of the items on the menu would have a description of the ingredients...hard to tell what I'm ordering by just looking at the name. As many others have mentioned, the value for what you get is not all that great. I couldn't believe I spent close to $60 on my order. For that reason it's a 4 star experience.
Ehhh. Comparing it to the Federal Way Michoacana, this one was giving sad vibes. Despite their random fake greenery walls with encouraging signs ("Heaven - you're here" and something about chasing your dreams), crazy LED lights and club music, the whole place just seemed sad. Huge and roomy, but gloomy. The aguas were in smaller containers than in the FW location, and the ice cream flavor I had (Ferrero) was just okay - again, FW Ferrero tastes amazing. Parking was just as wild as in FW, however it's not ADA friendly, meaning if you can't handle stairs, then you can't go in. Service was fine, they seemed nice and efficient. Idk 3 stars for just okay, I'll stick to FW.
The best paletas I've had in the state. So creamy and not too sweet. I will say, they were a bit pricier than what I'm used to paying. We got 7. We also tried the churro with cajeta. It was pretty good. Great customer service and very patient. There were so many different flavor combinations that it took us a while to choose but she did an awesome job of answering all of our questions and didn't rush us out once. I would recommend! Also the place is cute and there is a lot of seating.
We came in on Saturday at about 4:00 PM for a sweet treat. This place is so bright and happy, and they have a wide variety of flavors both sweet and savory. It was challenging to not walk away with their crock pot of queso. Or all the beautiful popsicles and ice creams. This was an absolute delight! I ordered the Zopote Negro ice cream because I hadn't heard of it until this visit, and it was so good! It's like a cross between a fig and persimmon. I can't wait to come back and try more-there was a wide range of flavors and it was comfortable here. We were blown away!

I've been itching to try this place since moving here about a year ago...so glad I finally did! It's way more spacious on the inside than expected and there's even a taqueria inside! Service was quick, staff speaks Spanish and English (I'm a no sabo kid trying to get better at speaking Spanish.. LOL). I ordered the Fresas Dubai which is SUPER rich with chocolate and pistachio cream. The strawberry were fresh and very tasty as well. Definitely will be back to see what else they have to offer! read more

This is possibly my favorite ice cream and snack shop in the area. I love the spacious shop interior with plenty of natural light, seats, and lots of sweet and savory options. I spotted a taqueria add-on in the works so this place should be even more fun in the future. Only downside is parking. The lot is small and shares space with other businesses so parking can get kind of terrible when the lot is busy. I have had the best luck when its early in the day or later at night as this place stays open pretty late. Some of my favorites have been the milkshakes, paletas, and mangonadas. If you want something for the gram, get the piña loca. It's a carved out whole pineapple stuffed with a fruit and vegetable salad (jicama, cucumber, mango, pineapple), crunchy bar nuts, and Mexican candies and sauces. So fun and so yummy! read more

Fun spot! Really great ambiance and ice cream flavor. Love being able to taste real fruit chunks in there. Staff were nice offering any samples. Seems to be a very community forward spot. Excited to come back again to try more Mexican ice cream. was a first and not the last! read more

Ice cream is delicious! Tried the guava sorbet. Had bits of fruit in it. Not too sweet. Tart. Just the way I like it. Sooo many flavors to choose from. Something for everyone. Shop is clean and the people are friendly. read more

I came here specifically for the popsicles my friends Nelson L and Bryan K along with another friend had visited here recently during a food crawl they did in Renton. After a morning visit to Kubota Gardens and picking up lunch at Yummy Meats I talked my dad to checking this place out. I picked up about seven pops and a Mangonada. It's a big shop they sell ice cream and other food items but my main focus was the pops fruits once specifically. We have tried the guava and mango so far. They have chunks of fruit in them. So refreshing can't wait to try the passionfruit and chili mango ones. Definitely will be back to try more have already told some friends who live in the area about this place. The Mangonada was everything I expected a mango slush with tajin. Need I say more! Lots of cute graphics for photo ops, bright space lots of natural lighting. Service was friendly. The paleta de agua I ordered were about $2.99/each. Mangonada $6.99. read more

My favorite place for Mexican treats. This place has a cute aesthetic with plenty of seating, perfect for sitting down for a while and enjoying a yummy snack with a friend or family. Prices are good and you can get many things for a reasonably price. Service is also really quick and the workers are very friendly. The ice cream was single scoop and they give you a generous portion which is definitely plenty. The crepes are delicious and flavorful. And my favorite, the Watermelon Aguas Fresca is always a refreshing drink to get especially on hot days. La Michoacana offers lots of flavors and snacks, I always look forward to coming here and definitely recommend others to check it out! read more
Y'all forget about the "artisanal" scoop..it's all about getting back to the basics of a great scoop! There are no skimpy portions here! A small is not a 1 scoop thing it's more like 3 scoops! A medium? A whooping 5 scoops! I can't even imagine what a large looks like! La Michocana is a very inviting colorful place! I would take an ice cream shop over a candy shop any day! This place doesn't just have ice cream and paletas - it also has juice, churros, snacks, over the top instant bowl noodles and of course, all served with a friendly smile! And there's more - they are open until 10pm and have dozens of flavors to choose from! My only negative is that this place is popular in the summer and does not have adequate A/C. Also, not sure if the building has a ramp/elevator for ADA. Will always look forward to get to La Michocana! read more

Eh - I recently moved from Chicago to Seattle and was craving a mangonada and esquites. Moving to Seattle, access to michoacanas within the city is not a thing, based on my experience. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! Anywho, I was in the area running errands so I thought "Why not?" Staff is nice, but what I ordered was not. I found the mangonada needed to be in the blender longer because I was mostly crunching on little bits of ice. Corn in the esquites texture was like it was just added from a can. Or wasn't cooked on stove for long. Either way, didn't taste great. The two items I bought were around $15 total, which in my opinion was not worth the price. I was the only customer in there waiting and I was in no rush, so I hope they are able to improve. I'll be back in the future though for some paletas. read more

Their cappuccino paleta is my all time favorite. It's extremely creamy and decadent. They also have aqua frescas and more. It gets busy on a hot summer day so be prepared to wait in line. read more

There's dozens of options but i always go for the Mangonada. this place is a 10/10 for a snack. sometimes it can get super busy so the wait sucks but the food is well worth it and the staff works quickly. The seating is a little cheap, the tables spin and the chairs are uncomfortable, but it's a cute place. read more

I just found my favorite ice cream + popsicle shop in the area! It's definitely a popular place. Seattletimes just recently published a list of new restaurants and this location was mentioned in the article. Drove up NE 3rd St and passed up Group Health and Renton Vo-Tech. Parked in the lot behind La Michoacana and walked up some stairs. So many flavors to choose from but luckily the staff was super friendly and patient! It's a brightly lit dessert shop with lots of counter space and tables to choose from. We had the vanilla churros plate with Oreo ice cream. Other flavors of churros you can choose from are strawberry and caramel but we went with vanilla. I highly recommend looking at the ice cream options in the ice cream display case before getting in line because there are so many different flavors to choose from. Could be hard getting back on 4th St. going Eastbound especially during rush hour but you can always take the back way by heading north on Queen, right on 6th, then another right on Union. read more

This place is pretty good! It's a snack and ice cream shop with a Mexican spin. Everything we had was very delicious. Their whipped cream is super thick! Will definitely be back (if we are in the area). There was a line, which was a bit slow, seems they are popular, for good reason! read more

If you want city of Mexico treats and feel, this is the place. Loud music, neon lights and who cares about calories attitude will meet all your munchie needs. Popsicle, ice cream, churros, plantains, tamales downs stairs, snacks you've never heard of unless you've been in Mexico. read more

This is the cutest place. Love where they are situated, the rounded corner store with near top to bottom window gives it amazing natural lighting. Gotten their mangonada on two separate occasions. The first one, wasn't enough chamoy. The second time around it was the perfect balance of chamoy/tajin/mango blend. They have a plethora of ice cream flavors and speciality paletas. We got the pineapple and passion fruit. My son ate the pineapple in a heart beat and said it was good. The passion fruit wasn't bad either! They even have soursop. I tried the ice cream form but it wasn't as good (the said the ice cream scoopable one is like the paletas and they were willing to give me a taste test) Daughter got plain 'ol vanilla ice cream (she had alllllllll the choices and she went plain vanilla). She said it tastes different/weird. Overall, the workers are friendly and the price is a bit higher although you are paying for quality items. I would say there were easily over 20 flavors of paletas. My boss got their Tamara one drink and seemed to have enjoyed it. They dipped the cup in tamarind too, so it's tamarind on tamarind in tamarind. Only thing I can offer a suggestion to the owners, consider adding more "English" language friendly menu for those who aren't too familiar with the food culture. read more
