So many things to choose from. The only thing I would say is the parking; parking lot is real small and this place is located in the northeast corner of Shaw and Blackstone.

Cute pink couches. there are chairs and tables on the other side of this wall

We stopped in to try this place. My husband wanted a mangoada and he did not have any complaints. We got paletas for the family and I could not resist this chocolate covered ice cream bar dipped in peanuts. I'm 1000% glad I didn't because it was one of the best ice cream bars I've had in a long time. Delicious fresh strawberry flavor with not too over powering chocolate. Must try. It came out to about $30 for 5 paletas and a mangonada. Sounds pricey, but I think it seems about right for how everything is going these days. They had a ton of clean space inside to sit. Tables and chairs and even comfy sofas and seats on the one side. When you walk in someone will assist you with your order and follows you through to the payment. As another staff member will help the next customer. The staff are assisting to prepare items as they take orders. My only suggestion is to make one of these large TVs into a menu, or put a set of laminated menus out for folks to look at. Menus help customers decide and maybe try something new!!. The TVs could help with menu because They are on like screen savers with some items now, and I'm sure one or two could easily be changed to show the menu each day. Just a thought! Oh and LOVE the glass, but it's annoyingly bright in the afternoon, so maybe blinds or shades on the west side? :)

Fresh fruit, delicious desserts and very clean. I got the Mangonada with Pina and it's my favorite. The frescas con crema are another favorite.

I have been here about 4 times now as I love ice cream my home state of Michoacan. It is always delicious and tastes just like home. The staff is very helpful and friendly for the most part. It is good to sit and eat your ice cream there as people tend to mind their own business for the most part.

Walking into this place is a real treat!! The have a wide array of mexican snacks and desserts that leave my mouth watering. They have alot from crepes, ice cream, fruit, and even mexican street corn done a variety of ways. One of the few complaints I have of here is that there's no actual menu to look at to see everything that's available unless you're willing to ask and while everyone who works here is attentive and always make the orders quick, efficiently, and loaded, they don't do the best job in my opinion explaining everything that they have available. Another thing is that this place can be a bit pricey and while I believe its worth it as they are super yummy I understand if someone isn't interested paying $8 for a single scoop of ice cream. But despite these minor gripes this place is a awesome to have a nice treat during the summers and I definitely recommend to at least try once as they have a wide variety of ice cream flavors and mexican treats and snacks. Overall I look forward to coming back here again for delicious treat and friendly service.

3 scoops of flavors: Fruity Pebbles, Oreos & Strawberry Cream hidden at the very bottom

Nice clean place, staff was nice and service was fast as they weren't too busy. First impression when walking in here is like walking into an ice cream candyland shop with soo many options to choose from, vibrant and colorful colors from the decors to the ice cream. One downfall to this place is that they don't come with a menu so it's hard to figure out what you really what and what else they offer.

The staff there are incredibly sweet and great at describing the flavors. We ended up getting a flight consisting of everything but the bagel, berry basil, bourdeaux(?), and my husband chose the last flavor which I don't remember but had peanut butter flakes lol. All were delicious! My favorite that I would definitely get again was the berry basil, such a unique combination that has almost a savory-ness to it. The everything but the bagel was interesting-maybe a little too savory for me? It was a cream cheese base but was so interesting when you get big bites of onion lol. Definitely worth a try though!

Dare I say Ampersand serves some of the best ice cream around…read more Their menu strikes a great balance between classic staples and an ever changing lineup of seasonal flavors. The flavor intensity here is no joke. When you order one of their more adventurous combinations, expect it to make a strong impression. Because the flavors are so concentrated, I find their small size more than sufficient. My go to flavor is always the Honeycomb. The ice cream base is exceptionally creamy and every scoop is packed with mix-ins rather than having them clustered in a few bites. Ampersand excels at rich, dairy forward flavors and the ingredients always seem thoroughly infused into the base. Some of my other favorites include Madagascar Vanilla, Whiskey Caramel Swirl, and seasonal offerings like Egg Nog and Vanilla Rum Raisin. That said, I have found the sorbets and heavily spiced flavors to be less successful. Options such as the Thai Tea and Chai Tea occasionally had a grittier texture, with noticeable remnants of tea leaves lingering in both the mouthfeel and finish. The vegan flavors were similarly bold and flavorful, but their texture was not quite as smooth or enjoyable as the traditional dairy based options. The staff is always friendly and generous with samples, making it easy to explore the menu before committing. While there are plenty of excellent choices, I remain in the camp that Honeycomb is the flavor to beat.

It has got to the point of us waiting for the next month's flavors. This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

So I looked for a local dessert place (by picture from other Yelpers) and I was in the mood for ice cream or fro-yo. I didn't realize that this place is very similar to the Somi Somi franchise; but still gave it a shot. Inside is very small and plain = NO SITTING so it is literally take-out. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.
