This was the longest it has ever taken for me to get my nails done and the workers were very rude. I left with the top coat completely messed up. A few days later my dip powder was cracking off which has never happened to me. I went back to have it fixed and they told me they didn't have time. Unfortunately, Ana, the nail tech I loved left for another salon and my most recent experience was dreadful. My nails were cut way too short and then she cut my fingers with the file to the point they were bleeding in several places. She did a really messy job and product extends beyond my nails. This place is my regular go to for no chip and pedicures. Neema the owner couldn't be nicer. The staff is also very friendly. Stand out technicians are Bella, Lucy & Jessica. But all do a fabulous job. The place has quite a few mani & pedi stations. An abundance of colors to chose from OPI and Essie colors both in no chip & regular polish. My no chip has always lasted 2 weeks with a minor chip on occasion. But go back within 2 weeks and no questions asked will repaint no questions asked. Be sure sure to get the mani & pedi punch card too. After 10 punches u get $15 off a no chip. The place is always clean. They also do parties as well. So keep this place in mind for a girls afternoon and u can bring cocktails too. read more

I love, love, love La Mode Nails! I have been coming to La Mode since they opened and the no-chip mani can't be beat. I use a lot of heat products on my hair and often times other no-chip manis will chip but La Mode's always seems to stay on. I have had a hard time finding a new nail salon and so glad I made the call yesterday. Mina was lovely on the phone as I told her my recent experiences and what I was looking for. She arranged for a noon appointment which I was grateful. Once I arrived, Sally handled my spa pedicure to my new tips/dipped nails and then to my eyebrows. I think overall they did a good job, but there were some minor things that really put me off to the salon. First of all, they charged me $5 to remove my no-chip manicure even though I was getting one put on again, that really upset me. They also switched manicurists in the middle of my service because an appointment came in, which I thought was unprofessional. I think they did a good job with my nails, and they look nice, but those minor details really put me off and I don't think I am returning considering how many nail salons (most) remove a no-chip for free if you are getting one put on again. read more

Awful. I make an appointment and they don't start on me until 15 mins after. 2nd the technician rushes the pedicure. Does the polish remover cuticle clean up etc under 10 mins!!!!! 3rd I ask her that I don't like how the pedicure is looking, because it looks bumpy and you can obviously tell where it looks empty, I ask her to remove the polish and start over just on the big toes, she decides to add a 3rd coat thinking it'll fix the problem, it obviously didn't. She asks for me to pick another color so I did and let's just say it's not the colors that are the problem. 4th - they don't take temps and technician didn't bother replacing her gloves while she worked on 2 different clients while handling cash as well. I wanted to get a mani too but a pedi shouldn't take 1 hour.I wouldn't come here but I had a gift certificate. read more

I have been to many different nail salons and this place is one of the better salons. Decor is clean and simple. I like that they provide a heat shoulder pack during the service, it smells good and relaxes your body. I have been here 4 times and I was happy with how my nails looked. During my most recent visit, I had mani pedi done with no chip. Pedicure was good, my feet felt nice and soft and the polish job was great. The no chip on my hands didn't look the best, maybe the color was a tough one. Would go back for sure. Visited their new location on Waukegan Road this past weekend. Hailey provided a great pedicure and manicure. She noticed how thin my nails were and let me know they were having a special on the DIP treatment. I've had the DIP before at other salons and didn't like it because it made my nails too thick. She assured me I'd be happy with her DIP, and I agreed to have it done. Very glad I did. She did a great job and now I can stop hiding my nails. I have special events coming up in the next few months and now I know I can get a DIP and not worry about the appearance or strength of my nails. read more

Everytime I went to La Mode Nails I got No chip manicure. ONO did my nails everytime. I called few days ago and scheduled for Sun no chip manicure with specialist ONO. I went in today for my appointment and another lady told me ONO isnt working today!!!! This is an awesome place to get your nails done. Not only do they do a fantastic job, they are nice, patient, and they really take their time doing your nails. This nail salon is managed the right way. I make appointments, however every time they have a walk-in, they are able to take the client right away. La Mode is always great for customer service and doing a great job! I have been a regular customer for 3+ years and although some of the nail techs have changed, I have always received a great service. I typically get a no chip mani and pedi combo and like the punch card that adds up to free services. Also, I have on occasion had a chip in my no-chip mani as I am not easy on my nails and they always fix it free of charge. They typically last a good 2 weeks for me regarding a mani.
