The bread in the front was really good. All the others need a big glass of milk.

The bread looks good, but unfortunately we believe is all the same dough rolled up in different ways. The bread is not bad tasting, but is doughy. We liked the smaller cuernito. That was tasty, like small town homemade bread.

    Conchas in so many colors.

I have always love the pan dulce here, and my recent experience was no different. I had some conchas of different colors, I love them, in every color. I recently had the tamales. My opinion; the beef tamale was a little dry for my taste but the cheese so juicy and savory, I loved it. I came toward closing time, so I was thankful to get such a juicy and savory cheese tamale. It had the chunk of cheese and strips of green chile inside. My next goal, is to arrive early, before they pork and chiken tamales run out. I also want to taste thier pan dulce in the early morning hours. I am excited to do this.

The tamales are delicious; however, if you're ordering dozens of tamales make sure you count your tamales. Last time I noticed that my two dozen tamales were short two tamales and I thought it was a fluke so I didn't make a big deal about it. I ordered another two dozen tamales today and totally forgot to count them - when I got home I was short another two tamales. I think whoever is packing them is only putting 11 tamales in when you order by the dozen because this is now twice that I have come up short on my tamale count. Not cool at all. 30+ years of being a customer and someone in the back is playing games.

I love this place. It is so fattening, and delicious. Best place for Spanish sweet breads.

The best pan Dulce around! You must try it. Fresh always in the morning. Have the best tamales as well. Prices are very very reasonable.

It had the perfect cinnamon and banana flavor, and the coffee was super smooth. It wasn't bitter at all and wasn't overly milky either, which I really liked. The prices are really reasonable too. My latte was under $7, which honestly is pretty rare these days. They have a huge selection of different lattes, so I'll definitely be coming back to work my way through the menu. The inside is really spacious with plenty of seating, and I loved all the wall decor. It's a Mexican-themed bakery, so they also have a great selection of pan dulce if you're looking for something to pair with your drink. The parking lot is currently under construction, but there was street parking available, so it wasn't a big deal.If you're in the Whittier area and love coffee, definitely give this place a try. I can't wait to come back and try more of their lattes! The customer service was great as well. She took my order and I got my drink fast.

For this first trip, I found myself enchanted by the more traditional Korean pastries - the sweet potato creamy red bean bun, the curry croquette, the salt breads and rice crackers (one of their most popular items they said.) Most everything costs between $3-5. What a steal! I ordered their new item -- a banana latte made with their own banana syrup and cold foam to go with a double shot of espresso. It was tasty though seeing the old timers with their hot brewed coffees and bean buns made me wish I'd gotten something hot too. All in all, I had a great time at Cafe Bleu and can't wait to come back and try some new things. There are lots of tables and plenty of room to meet up with friends or work or do your homework.

One thing to note for anyone with nut allergies: although the ingredient label only listed almonds, there seemed to be other nuts present as we experienced an allergic reaction despite not being allergic to almonds.
