I don't really do reviews but I had highly disappointed I want it to try this bakery because it is close to my house Tamales are very dry I also got a sweet bread! Sweet bead was super hard not even able to eat it. And my Champurrado was cold and no flavor what so ever. The guy who attended me was a very nice guy and very nice person but food was horrible very disappointed

I had been looking for a bakery for a while and I'm so happy to have found Cinco De Mayo Bakery! The pan dulce was amazing, super fresh and tasty. We also bought some tamales and they were absolutely delicious! The service was awesome as well, the sweet lady that helped us was very nice and I would definitely be returning to support this business. I recommend this place to everyone in the Whittier area, it's a definite must try, you'll be hooked!

This business has everything you need. Quiet, friendly staff and great coffee. The place inside is very open and spacious. There's comfortable seating and tables are big enough to accommodate large groups or laptops and accessories. My go to drink here is the Tiramisu Latte which is insanely good. The Flavor combination is top tier. I live how it contains its bitter/strong coffee notes throughout the drinking experience. This latte also has a sweet flavor to it which is amazing when combined with the bitter coffee notes. Overall Bark coffee is a gem that everyone needs to try.

A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

That said, once we finally reached the window, the experience turned around. We ordered an iced banana horchata latte and a regular iced horchata latte, and both drinks were worth the wait. The horchata flavor was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet, with a nice cinnamon note that complemented the coffee instead of overpowering it. The banana version added a subtle, natural sweetness that made it feel a little more unique without being artificial or heavy. Even with the long line, the quality of the drinks stood out. If you're planning to stop by on a weekend, it's probably best to expect a wait, but at least you can count on getting a solid, flavorful coffee once you make it through.

I'm really glad I did because I think this just became my new go-to coffee order. I'd describe the Seoul latte as almost like a cousin to a Vietnamese iced coffee. It's lighter and slightly less sweet, which I personally really enjoy. Before trying this, my usual go-to was the Cubano con Leche from Tierra Mia. That drink is delicious, but it's very rich, creamy, and caffeine-heavy -- almost more of a dessert coffee to me. I usually only get it sparingly because it can feel a bit heavy, especially on busy days when I want something lighter. This Seoul latte feels like the perfect addition to the rotation: sweet and flavorful without being overpowering, and much lighter overall. The location itself is also really unique and stands out from the street. The interior has a cool aesthetic with a bunch of biking merchandise throughout the shop. My only wish is that there was a bit more patio covering outside and maybe some seating in the front, although there are plenty of places to sit inside.
