So I do very much have a fondness for establishments that remind me of places I've visited in other countries. I don't have some kind of specific product or anything like that to highlight. I just overall liked the experience of being at Mi Tienda. Has a great vibe to it in my opinion. I'll be back at some point to hang around here and see what interesting food finds I can pick up. Someone named Sandro helped me, I think he may have been the manager or the owner, but he was very helpful. He also told me that the grilled chicken outside is only available on the weekend, and you can get rice, beans, tortillas, and salsa for a total of $12.99 for a whole chicken. That's right, and this chicken is so delicious. The rice and beans are really good, charro beans to be exact. They also have a little buffet where they will serve you different entrées. I'm not really sure what was there. Once I got my meats and the chicken, I didn't look. Can't wait to see how the fresh meat turns out. For the look and service they get 5 stars. I'll be back. I will definitely be going back, as they have taco meat seasoned already and cut up, and all types of things for the grill to make your job a lot easier. They even have a handwashing station, which is pretty awesome. Overall, the food is solid. While I've been known to rock a barbacoa and chicharron taco here and there, I especially appreciate the fact they have carne deshebrada (shredded meat), molleja (sweetbreads), longaniza (spicy pork sausage), and milanesa (breaded cutlet) meats.
